I actually did a bake-off with the Y31 Yaber and the V6 Yaberโฆ I liked the V6 better. The menu was way more polished and the wifi and Bluetooth are a huge bonus. The V6 is a little smaller but weighs more than the Y31. Both are good projectors for the money for sure. Both had about the same picture quality. The Y31 had a DB15 vga port for if you wanted that you should go with the Y31. The V6 which I am reviewing now has a great picture. I am using about 108โณ diagonal on the size and it looks great. I am in a basement with no ambient light. With the lights off it looks fantastic. With the lights on it washes out some. But for our home movie theatre, we turn off the lights. The wifi firmware update made that easy tooโฆ The fan noise seemed a little quieter on the V6 over the Y31โฆ You can hear the fan but with the audio on from your movie or game, you wonโt notice it. The menu of the V6 was much nicer than the menu for the Y31 as well. Both are nice but I really liked the V6. I would recommend buying this to anyone looking for an inexpensive home theatre. Oh! The V6 doesnโt have Dolby audio on the speaker and Y31 doesโฆ is the only advantage to Y31. However, I send all my signals to a receiver, then just output to the projector. So my sound is 5.1 through my receiver before it ever hits the projection unit. So audio on the unit itself was irrelevant for me. I bought a nice ATSC Over the Air (OTA) tuner and plugged that into my receiver so I can watch the OTA digital channels on my projector too. Hope this helps you. (this picture is 108 inch diagonal and itโs in a dark room, but it looks fantastic)

This review could be a little long but I believe it is helpful if you want to know about the V6 projector.I got my Yaber V6 about 10 days ago from Amazon during a special deal. The overall quality is really great with brightness, color, sharpness, & features. Wi-Fi & Bluetooth made it easy to update firmware and connect to devices. The picture quality is sharp edge to edge even with a good amount of digital vertical keystone or zoom down adjustment. So far I ran the projector for a total of 50 hours in 10 days .. about 5 hours a day โฆprojected on 102โ off-white wall, 88โ pulled-down screen, and 78โ pegboard gray screen. All 16 x 9 picture quality are great with the 3 different screen sizes. The picture setting is fully adjustable. The picture is quite acceptable during daytime with the shades closed. I usually use it at night for the best picture โฆthe picture profile is adjustable and I did a little tweaking for the various screens and made it very enjoyable. For sound, I use the 1/8โ audio output connected to a Bose music wave unit. It took a little tweaking on the sound menu to get the right bass and treble to my liking. It depends on the type of speakers you have. For HD video, I use a Roku 4K premiere, a great little unit that suits all my streaming media requirements running at 1080p. I can run the Roku phone app to get the private listening feature through headphones or AirPods. I find projector Bluetooth audio via AirPod has a little static when at higher volume but seems to be ok when output to Bose music speakers.Screen mirroring via V6 projector is sluggish but it is ok. Mirroring via the Roku 4K premiere is far better in performance. The menu interface is easy to use and many option to tweak to oneโs preference. The unit doesnโt get too hot and cools off quickly after shutdown. The running fan noise is ok during operation. The internal speaker is loud and clear and quite acceptable for news and regular shows.I think Yaber V6 is the best choice out there and I plan to use it as a workhorse putting lots of mileages to it in the days to come. It will be a good test for the coming summer days to see how it performs in warmer situations.I did an extensive spec comparison amount all the available Yaber and other brands projectors in the $200 to $300 price range. Yaber V6 is the top choice for price, quality, & features . Look for super Amazon deal when it is below $200. I also like the fact it came with a nice carrying case, the necessary cables, and a printed easy to understand thorough manual .

I think this is a great projector for the money. Easily and without any problems hooked up my Apple TV to one of the 2 HDMI inputs and paired my bluetooth headphone. I project the image to a wall about 9.5 ft away from the projector (i.e. no need for a screen) and, once the focus adjustment is made, the image is very sharp (especially when viewing 4K videos like those on Youtube). The contrast is very good even when lights are turned on near the projector. For picture adjustment there are a few preset options as well as user mode option where your individual (contrast, brightness, saturation, etc.) settings get saved. I did not quite understand why the hue could not be adjusted but even without that I was able to get a very decent picture. Sound quality is quite decent and does turn the room into a nice home theater but I suppose hooking up a (bluetooth) sound bar would make it even better especially for low frequency response (have not tried that yet). The fan is relatively quiet but still can be heard when there is no sound in the room but not noticeable when sound is being played back. The unit is very small and light weight. It comes with a nice zipper carrying bag allowing it to be easily and safely transported. Once you connect the projector to your wifi network and enable screen mirroring on your iPhone and select the projector, you can project your iPhone screen and this too worked for me just fine the very first time I tried it. I have not yet tried the USB inputs (nor see a need to). The remote requires 2 AAA batteries (not included) and is very small and works nicely. The instruction manual is pretty straightforward and accurate. All in all I am very happy with my purchase and recommend this product based on what I have seen so far. Note that this is my very first projector so I can not comment on how it compares to others in the market but, after performing some careful market research, I bought this unit due to its features (contrast ratio, bluetooth & wifi support, built-in sound quality, etc.), some nice reviews I read about its predecessor model that this unit improves upon and finally its reasonable price.

The media could not be loaded. Did tons of research and decided on this projector based on many positive reviews, features and functionality. This is my first projector purchase so canโt really compare to other units but this is definitely going to be perfect for movie night in our horribly messy play room (thanks girls) and on my big blow up screen on out back porch. This is projecting against an off white, more vanilla paint so likely even better on bright white. Super easy to set up and the 4 corner keystone feature is a MUST HAVE! Allowed me to have it at multiple angles but still have a straight rectangle viewing area, amazing. Itโs pretty bright in my low light room but doesnโt have a brightness control as far as I can tell yet. In complete darkness will likely be brighter. The remote functions are easy to navigate but a big down side is having to exit your movie to adjust things, the manufacturer should allow for more on screen quick adjustment so you donโt have to keep going out of your movie, then to home page, then to the nut wheel settings button to adjust things. Volume is weak, I had mine up to 80 and sounds like a set of mini, under powered speakers but if you donโt have solid audio options, it will due if the room is completely silent, any background noise and it will ruin the experience. I had very low expectations for these speakers anyway, Iโm a big AV guy so I have tons of pre-amped options, Hope they sound much better, especially for the big backyard kids throw downs Iโm planning this summer. Overall, a solid buy, Iโd say go for it, you will get a lot of use out of this projector.

The media could not be loaded. As a first-time owner of a projector I read countless reviews and ultimately bought the Yaber projects given its affordability and high-quality picture. This projector certainly delivers, making for a pleasant viewing experience for the countless shows and movies out there. The projectorโs sound is good and perfect for temporary setups (such as an outdoor movie screening). However, youโll likely want to hook up some speakers for a more immersive experience. Thankfully the projector has solid connectivity options, with 2 HDMI, 2 USB ports, as well as AV and headphone ports. Instead of wiring my speaker system I plan on using a Fire Stick, which has bluetooth capabilities and will simplify my streaming (rather than using a laptop).Note that the bluetooth and screen mirroring are not usable due to latency issues. When I hooked the projector up to bluetooth speakers there was a visible delay in the audio. Despite this flaw Iโm not deducting a star because 1) even most expensive projectors do not have bluetooth and 2) you are buying this projector for the picture quality, which is superb for the money. If you are looking for an affordable projector without sacrificing your viewing experience, look no further than this projector!

After wasting my time with cheaper projectors that you canโt get a consistently clear and square picture, you could only see in very dark rooms, with limited inputs and ability, and with horrible GUI, I decided to try the Yaber V6.For this price range, the V6 isworth every penny. From opening the box to a week into heavily using it, I am nothing but impressed. Includes a perfectly sized bookbag style carry bag, all the cords youโd need to get going, wifi and bluetooth cast/mirroring ability, a simple but intuitive GUI with many options all wrapped up into a very nice quality looking machine. Excellent picture clarity and bright enough to even see during the daytime. The 4D adjustable keystone is amazing and allows for so many more placement and fine tuning options. Actually makes it much more useful and way less aggravating to move around to different rooms or outside and get set up and enjoying in only a couple minutes.Iโve tried some cheaper and a few in the same price range but I think my search is finally over, the V6 was actually what I had hoped for when I decided to get a projector
Amazon Customer โ
Great initial image quality but after only 2 months, the projected image developed significant horizontal dark lines in the middle of the screen. Contacted Yaber customer support to exercise the 3 year warranty for a replacement and was told that none were in stock (even though itโs still selling on Amazon). They did not even offer another of their projector models. So I was supposed to wait indefinitely for a replacement, which I obviously wasnโt going to do. I am now returning it for a full refund. Will update this review if they donโt follow through with a full refund.UPDATE:I was refunded the full cost of the projector but was required to pay the return shipping (about $38 via USPS) which I had let them know when I emailed them the tracking number. A week and a half later they are now asking me to take down this review and are also saying they will give me $70 for my troubles. That great! But I will not be taking down this review. Buyer be warned, this projector is sold under a few other names: WiMiUS K1, DBPOWER RD828, TOPTRO X1 and Iโm sure a few others. Iโm quite sure Yaber does not actually make this, but only pedals it from a global supplier. Yaber is only acting as a salesman so to speak (along with all the other brands of this projector).Update 2:Changed from 1 star to 5 simply because of the outstanding effort in customer support. I was pleased to have received another projector after going through the trouble of returning the 1st one. The 2nd one had a jammed lens that required some effort to free but it works fine now. But i canโt complain being that they provided it free of charge after the 1st being fully refunded. I will update to 3 stars if this one fails prematurely with more lines. Thank you Yaber customer support.

I compared 4 products which this came second to me , First one was BENQ the winner, Since BENQ is too expensive I settled with this one, out of the other 2 projectors one was the same projector as Yaber with different brand name. The other one I sent it back coz of bad support. This is had a good support get answers overnight from Monday to Thursday. The Picture quality came 60-70% of BENQ (TH685) , BENQ had a better throw distance from the same spot than this. BenQ had a much bigger and clearer picture. Overall this is good for the price you pay so kept it.Pros: Nice picture quality, Connect wifi, connect bluetooth (which always have lag coz it is bluetooth).USB external drive works fine. Works good for night movies only.Cons: Cant play DTS/Dolby digital audio( not supported). Not clear when windows or open if a little day light come in.Update 1 ( Jan 11th): My HDMI1 started having audio issues ( breaks every 3 seconds) .Yaber gracefully accepted to replace the product. Thanks Yaber for your support.

In love with this projector. Had it for two weeks so far, and itโs done far better than any of those other cheap โ1080p capableโ projectors. This oneโs native resolution is 1080p, meaning thatโs the default quality itโll output. No downscaling here, which is fantastic. The internal speaker is actually pretty good, though Iโd recommend an external set for surround sound or home theater setups. Itโs surprisingly light, and since it comes with a carry backpack you can take it with you wherever you go. The power cord is on the small side, so make sure you have an extension cord if you want to do something outdoors! As for daylight viewing outsideโฆdonโt try it until sunset or after. Projectors are meant for nighttime showings anyways, unless you want to spend a few grand on a laser one (at that point you could just buy a tv). Works perfect for family and friend gatherings, just make sure you have a stand or mount to hold it, as well as a screen and its own respective stand. All in all, well worth the money youโre spending. Apparently it typically goes for $529 plus taxโฆI got it for $250. If you want a good quality projector without breaking the bankโฆthis is a fantastic choice.

The media could not be loaded. So far so good. I purchased this projector for outside evening movie nights. I will post an update of how it worked outside for movie night. I was able to connect this to my Bluetooth surround sound bar. I had an issue with sound but in the Q&A found it it was a setting on firestick that was causing that issue. You can also screens share from your iPhone or Android however it want allow for movies that stream from Netflix or Prime due to restrictions but you can watch YouTube. I have purchased at least two projector prior to this one and this is a definite upgrade.
