We purchased the Pyle PTA44BT to serve as the source for our whole-house stereo system. When we bought the house, the speakers were already installed, but the previous owners took their amplifier with them. After reading the specifications posted for the product, we thought this unit would best serve our needs…and it turned out we were right. Installation was a breeze (just hooking up the speaker wires, actually) and the unit instructions, although spartan, were certainly adequate to get us started. Blue-tooth pairing was simple and the unit was able to pick up most local radio stations on auto-scan. We hooked up three pairs of speakers, and all three could be played simultaneously without distortion. I would have appreciated AM reception as well, but that can be gotten through an iPhone or other streaming device. Other reviewers have chided the manufacturer for irrelevant issues such as damage during shipping. I cannot vouch for Pyle’s customer services–as some reviewers have mentioned–as we did not need to avail ourselves of them. For the money and the capabilities, this unit would be hard to beat. An audiophile might be able to quibble on some features and capabilities, but for the “average” listener, this unit is well above average. Recommended!

I have built-in ceiling speakers , 20 watt 8ohm, in 6 zones throughout my house but no amp left by previous owners. So I found this product and read a few pages of reviews and found that many were complaining about bluetooth connectivity and other minor oddities… but I figured for the price point I would happily just leave my device plugged in while guests were over and music was playing. Pulled trigger and it came in two days, new and wrapped in the box. Noticed it came with a built-in BT antenna which you can see in the photo, as well as a plug-in FM antenna wire, and basic labeled manual. It works brilliantly… exactly what I needed. My bluetooth reaches from all of the nearby rooms which is just fine. I can control each volume independently and there’s a main. Press MODE til it says BLUE and then it showed up on my phone, connected, turned the input dial to “Mp3” and voila. I highly recommend for whole-house distributed audio. =)

Ok one thing I wanna get to start with the wattage per channels, yes I’ve officially tested it with an AD-1. It’s true you have to do a bit of math to do it cause it’s 6 channels loaded but you get (drumroll) 90 watts max even! Second thing is the Bluetooth is amazing no distortion basically and voltage is outstanding if you want something for a home Cinema with full-ramge speakers all around or just to crack it and kill your ears then here you go amazing full range sound absolutely love it! Also if your deciding if you should get they upgraded pyle 6 channel don’t allot things are wrong with the other one for $129.99 it’s actually better to get this one $109.99 cheaper and more reliable.Just got the “buy-now” button and get it your not gonna be sad or unsatisfied it’s loud for a 45’x60’x34′ building so it’s loud enough for a home system!Downside about this is that the equalizer is basically 5 modes for bass and tremble not the greatest but it sounds amazing love it!One more thing, buy some Bose 201 iv older speakers their perfect performance for this receiver!

This multiple “channels” allows me to control the speaker volume of different speakers depending on connectivity. If outside can turn the outside shed building speakers up and inside shed speakers down.I sent the 200 (maybe 250 watt) back because it would turn off at barely 1/4-1/2 volume. I thought I wired something wrong. Sent it back and got this one . Issue solved!!PROs:-can control speakers at different volumes based on channel it’s connected to-can hear of my torpedo shop heater-make record player LOUD AF-radio built in-bluetooth works flawless-speaker wire is direct connection no extra ends needed-did I mention it’s loud?CONs:-its not true stereo, so no left to right balance adjustment-have to change mode knob to get certain features to work. Little annoying-remote needed to find a specific radio station

Using this unit with 2 Bose 201, and 2 Bose 301 speakers. Set up in my workshop, the sound is clean and gets more than loud enough. The Mic plugs work great, the BT is easy to connect and the range is plenty for my 30×50 shop, the FM works fine also. The levels can be set for each pair of speakers and then volume can be controlled with a main volume knob.Overall this is a nice low cost solution for, garage, shop, basement, small store, etc. This is my second Pyle amplifier, and so far Pyle has not disappointed me.

im replacing a pyle 300w bluetooth receiver with this one.ive only had it a few days so here are the cons so far, the manual is poor so your going to have to figure out things on your own. first obvious thing is speaker hook up, there are not 4 channels there are 8. there is no right and left indication on the speaker channels, so you have to figure out which is which. when setting up the bluetooth, if you do not have the right option selected on the receiver dial you will not get sound. turn up the channel volumes to max and use the master volume .Now for the pros, POWER!! I have 4 yamaha speakers 75-145 watt peak, and this provides enough power to push them. the sound quality is very good, even at low levels which is what i was looking for , but this provides enough power more than loud enough for the average user. im using 8 ohm speakers so will use 4 8ohms no problem . so if you want power and decent sound buy this.

This is the second PTA44BT that I have purchased this year. The first one I bought for a friends home/professional gym. I originally stumbled upon this amplifier when looking on Amazon for a small, inexpensive, bluetooth receiver with built in channel control. I was worried it was going to be chinsy but I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality, how quickly the bluetooth connected to my iPhone, and the range the treble and bass gave my speakers. The added sub woofer line out makes this a great system for any home gym. I do own a more expensive receiver and an additional channel selector for my home theatre, which also controls my back yard second zone, BUT this is perfect for my garage gym, It has tons of power and the small foot print allows me to keep it in a small 10″ cabinet so my kids don’t see it. I couldn’t be happier with this buy, especially for the price and the added ability to have an amazing karaoke party in the garage, since it’s also connected to my TV. Great job PYLE!

Bought this unit to use as a multi zone sound system for a large camp site. I can isolate jut the deck, fire, or party tent areas or turn on all zones for a party. As for its sound: I was surprised. It sounds really good. For a lower priced item, I wasn’t expecting much. As I mentioned, this unit is going to be kept at a camp in a storage shed so I wanted to keep it cheap. Its relatively user-friendly, I figured it out quickly. The Bluetooth range is good and I had no problem connecting a Sirius home dock and a cd player. AUX and USB ports are on the front making connecting almost anything a piece of cake.So far I really like this unit, I hope it lasts for years.

Make sure this amp does what you expect. Its a great amp to fill an area with music. It does not have stereo, surround, or anything like that. I wanted it so I could power some speakers and listen to spotify on my phone. The bluetooth range is crazy long. The remote had extreme bad range (5ft). I replaced the battery and its now about 12ft. Music quality is excellent but will depend on your speaker and sub mix. Overall an excellent buy and I will be buying another for the master bedroom/bath. Also, it says its 4 channel but you can actually power 8 speakers and 2 subs direct.

This is a great amp and fits my needs perfectly. I read some reviews and watched some video reviews and quickly learned to turn the input selector dial to mp3. There is some confusion about if this is a stereo amp. It is and it isn’t. The six channels all put out the same mono signal. It sounds great, but it is definitely NOT stereo sound. The inputs accept left and right channels but combine them into a mono output to the speakers. I assume, but did not test, the output rca ports pass off a stereo signal. I prefer a mono output as I’m using this in a Hair Salon to distribute the music evenly around a large 2 room area. As I can control the volume on each channel, I can set a custom volume for each area. The build quality is about or above what I expect at this price point. As for being “stereo”, think about it. If you have 6 channels and each one puts out a separate left and right channel, well folks, you have a 12 channel amp. Plus, how would you balance those, as there is no “balance” control. And that’s because….there is NO STEREO to balance. This unit seems to be designed for PA applications and broad background music installments. Home theatre?…this is not your guy! Again, the sound is full, rich, and ample power to fill a 1000 sq. ft easily (depending in the sensitivity of your speakers). I’m using 6 Micca 8″ 2-way. I did add a compact subwoofer with its own mini amp to round out the bass. I like a lot of boom, even at lower volumes.
