My kittens will literally come running when they hear the *snap* as I break the portions apart. The smaller portions are perfect for cats who can’t eat a full can all at once and who are finicky about left overs. There is a fair amount of the gravy, and the consistency is just right if you want to mix in some dry kibble to moisten it a bit without it getting totally soggy and turning to mush. The price on here is usually better than in store, and it’s difficult to find a large box of the “cuts” variety in the brick and mortar stores. Oh, and even the seafood ones don’t reek like many other wet cat foods, so that’s always a plus.

My two 15-year-old cats have become very finicky eaters lately, turning their noses up at their long-time favorites. So I bought some of every variety I could find, with minimal success. I only feed them wet food at my vet’s recommendation since both have had bladder crystal problems. Neither cat will eat pate – only cuts or filets, and the chunks must be small (did I say they were finicky?). So when I ordered the Sheba Perfect Portions Cuts, I didn’t have high expectations.But much to my surprise and delight, both my cats LOVE this! I tried the tuna and salmon duo (my cats prefer seafoood over other flavors), and they ate every crumb. That never happens. I’ve only given them one of each flavor so far, so tomorrow they may decide they hate it, but they haven’t been this interested in their food in quite a while. Fingers crossed they will continue to love it.

We got our first kitten (Nova)after closing on our house. She was kind of a picky eater (still is) and was able to get her to eat wet food. However being she was small a half of can was good but I hated putting it in the fridge to stink it up and she didn’t want anything to do with it when it was cold. I saw these and even though it was a bit more expensive it was worth the money to save our noses and her pickyness. She absolutely loved it. Now as she got older we tried going back to cheaper cans but she would smell it and look and me and meow the way she meows when she wants food. Of course she’s the first cat in history to go on a hunger strike so we caved and just kept buying them but…. Fast forward to last month May 2017 when we got her a brother he also loved this food. I saw Amazon had(Thor) perfect portions ‘cuts’ and it was a tad cheaper and prayed she would eat itm, well let’s just say she went crazy for it because of the extra gravy that was always her fave part she would lick all the gravy off before eating the food itself. it was a real hit with Nova and Thor so now we are stuck peordering the food by the case lol this case the s 17 for twice as much as the $12 case at Target so it’s a win/win situation. I don’t have to be bothered making a special trip to Target and it’s cheaper in bulk. Even though it always says it will take 1-2 months it’s worth it to just order a few cases I’m currently waiting on 3 cases from Amazon or should I say Nova and Thor are waiting on them! 🤣😹 Also even though it’s still a small portion it’s more than enough for then to each have one portion. I feed them twice a day and they always full up and zong out while cuddling!

We have purchased these several times and now order them via auto delivery from Amazon permanently now. Our kitty, Sebastian loves them. I feed him one in the morning and one in the evening mixed in with MeowMix and he always leaves the bowl sparkling clean. The prices do vary for the different flavors which erks me a bit as I like to keep ordering a nice variety to make sure my cat doesn’t get bored, but the price is comparable to any supermarket or online pet food retailer anyway. The selling point for me though, is the fact that they are individual portions and I like that I don’t have to keep any smelly, open cans in my fridge, or even bother with cans at all. I’ve read some other remarks saying they are messy or hard to open but I don’t have that problem at all. It’s as easy as opening a yoghurt container and if you do it in such a way, there’s rarely any spillage of the gravy. Sebastian’s happy, I’m happy and I will continue to repurchase. My first pic is when we took our little guy in off the street a few months ago and he was so skinny. The second is now. He looks so much better with good, regular meals now. I’ve fed him Perfect Portions since we took him in.

MY cats love this and I like the fact its not a LARGE can and they leave some on the plate..with this Sheba they eat the entire amount and none is wasted. They do not like the Pate’ only the the cuts.

We have 2 cats and both seem to have different taste. I buy 2 different kinds of dry cat food for these little kitties, but when it comes to soft food these girls unanimously this! It’s the perfect size and they both eat it. Unfortunately they have come to expect it early in the morning so even on the weekends they wake me up expecting to be fed their soft food at 6:45am. Also one of the cats has never meowed in the her 10yrs, ever, like no noise except purring. I’ve only heard her make a screeching noise when I accidentally stepped on her paw once. I just assumed she never learned becasue we got her when she was about 3-4 weeks old, sill needed her Mom. When I opened a container of sheba….MEOW! I couldn’t believe it! My cat made a meow sound and it was so sweet. I had to have everyone in the house listen the next day as I opened a container becasue they didnt believe me. It was a sweet sound and when I feed her other brands no noise but with she a she meows so it must be good. Now, the other cat is 15yo and she meows all the time and enjoys sheba cat food as well vs other brands. I will continue to be a repeat customer becasue there is something in this food that both cats like better than other brands.

At first my two cats were fiends for any of the portion packs, but now that they’ve had the cuts they will only eat the gravy and tops off of the pates and then act like they’re being cruelly neglected. I give three portions a day to each cat and they have developed impressive internal clocks.The gravy does squirt out on to my hands 90% of the time, and to get what’s left in the container I always add a little water and swirl it around then add it to the plate.

My cat will only deign to eat this brand of food. She will sniff other brands of wet food, but heaven forbid that she actually EAT anything else. She particularly likes the portion sizes because she enjoys making us serve her fresh portions more frequently throughout the day, rather than just plunking down one larger serving twice a day. No, no, no. That wouldn’t do. Cat food after it sits for a few hours certainly looks repulsive to me, but I would think it would be good enough for an animal. Well, maybe it’s good enough for a dog, but for Her Majesty, it is just as repulsive as I think it is and she won’t touch any food more than an hour or so old. So, here we are with a brand of food that is perfectly portioned in finicky cat sized portions (is “finicky cat” redundant?). I’m rolling my eyes, but at least she is happy, and isn’t making her happy the whole point of my existence? She certainly thinks so.

My cat Lucy LOVES this Sheba Perfect Portions Cuts in Gravy. She usually will ONLY eat patê cat food, but this is the first time she has ever eaten any kind that’s not…. that means it must be good.There are 12 twin packs of roasted chicken entrees ( Lucy likes these the best lol), 6 twin packs of gourmet salmon entrees and 6 twin packs of tender turkey entrees, making this whole box a total of 48 servings. I only give Lucy this twice daily, to supplement her dry kibble. If you only feed your cat this, it’s suggested to give an adult cat 3 of these servings for every 5 pounds, twice daily. I’m not sure if that would be correct… because it would be 12 of these DAILY, which would be a total of 15.84 ounces (that is almost equal to 3 large cans/5 small cans of other cat food). The feeding guidelines for nursing cats and kittens are even more. I have never fed my cats only wet food, but I’m pretty sure this would be overfeeding your cat. Because I’m buying this to use only two per day, they’re a good value at 24 cents each, using Amazon’s Subscribe and Save.Sheba Perfect Portions are formulated to meet the nutritional levels for all life stages. The ingredients start with broth (where many others start with water). Next are 3 kinds of meat, then meat by-products, tapioca starch and natural flavor. There are also fish oil, vitamins and minerals, salt, color, taurine and DL-METHIONINE(a preservative).

I have two farm-rescued kittens who were used to raw meat scraps and whatever else they could find, and they did not take to dry food when brought indoors so I started them on wet. They were not initially picky, but slowly it emerged that they did not care for certain brands and consistencies (and they’d eat bugs if I let them). So I decided to pop over my my grocery store and get a sample of a broad variety of wet foods. I won’t name them, but one claims to be fancy, one is what a cop does when he searches you quick for weapons, and another was 3…2…??? And Sheba…Well, the cats like this brand hands down the best. Even when compared to other gravy rich medlies, this was eaten first and they’d butt heads to get to Sheba even with a plate of something else next to it. I wouldn’t trust these furballs with anything on a shelf, nice furniture, black clothing, or a roll of tissue paper, but I will trust them to know what they like eating. And that is Sheba.My only caveat is that the portion size is small for the price point, even less than a mini-can of food. Considering these monsters eat 2 a day each, it gets a little expensive to maintain, but for now they are worth it. One more cup of coffee knocked to the floor and I may have to rethink that…
