Not sure why Sanus discontinued these stands. They are a great basic audio rack. I preferred the Sanus because it has more room to fit equipment between the shelves. The top shelf is also oversized. Two of them together work perfectly until I can splurge for an expensive 8 component stand.

EXTREMELY solid and very well designed. Easily assembled and with adjustable feet which are, IMO, absolutely required, especially when using the equipment stand for vintage audio/turntable, etc.I looked at quite a few similar looking stands that cost less but they all sacrificed in unacceptable areas – insufficient weight capacity, lack of adjustable feet, not sturdy enough. These shelves are rock solid and take 10-15 minutes to assemble.

So I thought this was going to be a return based on the condition of the box. Delivery was delayed and it looks like the truck it was in may have been in an accident! Box was beat up, opened/split at both ends. But enough of that…I opened what was left of the box and made sure all parts and hardware were there. Not a scratch or dent! So I put it together in no time – super easy and clear instructions. I needed a rock solid stand since I wanted to put my turntable on the top shelf. This stand delivers that. I have my amp, DVD-A, and turntable on there and an extra shelf for headphones/whatever. The stand looks nice too, good color combination. Be warned if you have a bad back or knees – this stand is heavy!Wholeheartedly recommended, especially if you’re crowning it with a turntable.

This wasn’t purchased for audio but for a printer(s), paper and other PC ancillary devices. It would make a very decent audio rack. The instructions were clear, in English, and took maybe 30 – 45 minutes to assemble. I would suggest that beyond the sub-assemblies of the legs and supports, the final assembly should be done where the rack is going to be setting. It is quite sturdy, has some weight to it and why move that when it can be done in place.Bought another one for an additional monitor, assembly time was 30 minutes. It arrived on December 18 and the box had received some rough handling but the contents were undamaged. Only tool required was the Allen wrench that came with the hardware. Nice product. It comes with a Sanus sticker and I haven’t found a picture of this stand with one attached. Nice looking piece of audio furniture with high load capacity, lots of air flow and is now currently unavailable.

BEST component cabinet out there … why ? Wide between the supports. Can accommodate large width components. Each shelf is 9 inches high between the shelves… Can accommodate tall components; other brands vary the shelf heights…why I don’t know ????. Easy to put together. Stable and strong. This can hold some heavy units like power amps and monster receivers. Made of quality materials. Adjustable feet for uneven floors. Really big top shelf. Nice to the eyes…good looking unit. Priced very well….This is the one to buy.One drawback I found; Fumes ! Warning label on the shelves that it will emit formaldehyde fumes. I don’t know if the fumes will fade eventually, but right now I can smell them in my sound room…. Still like the shelves very much regardless….

This A/V rack is nicer in person. Pictures don’t do it jusitce for how good it looks. It’s easy to assemble and is very sturdy. It’s also easy to move (when empty). It is perfect for my needs. I needed an A/V rack that could hold my 52 pound receiver and the majority of A/V racks only have a weight limit of 33 pounds on the lower shelves. Yes, those racks can hold 88 pounds on the top shelf but I didn’t want my expensive receiver that high up in case of earthquakes (I live in earthquake country). This is the best priced rack for the weight capacity it can hold. Overall, very satisfied. Would recommend.

I like Glass TV stands better than this, but this is also quite good looking, I needed something to hold my old 80+ pound Panasonic plasma TV and this sure did the job.The glass TV stands of 25 years ago were designed to hold 100+ pound tube TVs and were thus made of very thick and heavy tempered glass; Today’s GlassTV stands are designed to hold thin lightweight LED TV’s and are made of much thinner lighter weight glass. Even if properly tempered the glass can still bend, crack or shatter somewhat, This TV stand is much sturdier.

This is my second AFA rack. My last one is many years old and still holding up strong. But I needed a new one to modify for my home theater. With additional feet and a few dollars worth of top bolts from the hardware store, I turned this into a rack for my receiver and center channel and another for an additional amp. I accomplished this for less than $200. Similar setups from other companies could cost you several hundred dollars more for the same or worse quality. This is a great buy.

I picked this up for a client of mine who wanted to replace a full size server rack in a small utility closet with something small, modern looking, and solid enough to hold several pieces of hardware and networking equipment. Nothing in the existing rack was rack mounted, so his setup was overkill and quite difficult to work with. The rack was extremely easy and quick to assemble with no tools needed except my own bare hands. Packaging was sufficient with no damage or scratches on any pieces. I had it assembled in about 30 minutes. The end result was quite impressive for a media rack around $100. I was able to get everything installed on it for a small office including but his VOIP phone system, 2 switches, 2 routers, 2 modems, 2 UPS battery backups, 1 NAS, a keyboard, mouse, and 23″ LED monitor. Everything is now easy to get to and has adequate ventilation. On top of that, it looks clean and modern. There is no wobble and it doesn’t feel cheap. I also like the predrilled holes for cable management.Highly recommended for a solid, modern, budget friendly media/equipment rack. I’m even considering picking one up for my home audio rack as soon as I’m finished remodeling my home. Great buy!
