I read plenty of reviews on this product and it was really difficult to get an accurate read on whether I should purchase them. After some deep thought I went ahead and did and very thankful I did. I’m not sure what people are looking for and how piddly their gripes with this product was really all about. I noticed people complaining about a chemical smell from within the container and that is half true. There is a chemical smell when you open the container but it goes away that very same day once the animals are out of the box. You can wipe the animal with wipes to disinfect them and they’ll be just fine. All the animals stand up just fine. Some are a little more difficult than others ( moose and giraffe) but they do stand on carpet and smooth surfaces. I read some of the complaints on some of the animals have a particular part of their anatomy showing on the figure. This is half true. It appears the company realized this issue and made an effort to mask that and it really is hardly noticeable. The animals are painted really nice. They are accurately portrayed as whatever color each animal is. The only criticism I will say about them is the construction on some. It appears the mold they are made from leaves a line through the middle on some of them during production. The bigger animals like the Elephant and Rhino definitely show that line. If you are really particular it will probably bother you. Most toddlers probably won’t even notice it or care if that’s who you’re buying them for.

My daughters favorite!! She learned all of these aninals in a week and she was 18 mos old! She uses this as a calm down time. We just say ” go get your animals” she loves the little box it came with too! Perfect size!
