The Redtiger 4K camera is awesome! It works amazingly well. I would use the microSD card they recommend. I tried several I had that supposedly handled 4K recording, but they didn’t. I order the microSD card Redtiger recommends and now it works great.Now for the hardwire kit. It’s cheaply made to say the least. The one I ordered broke at the fuses. It’s constructed in a way where the fuses are just pushed into a fitting and then partially soldered to a wire. Very cheap… In order to fix this, I cut off the original fused ends and added “add-a-fuse” ends to the battery + and ACC wires and now it works great.

The media could not be loaded. This dashcam is great. Both front and rear cams give very clear voice and video recordings. This is the video of the front cam late at night, with the rear cam also connected (can only upload 1 video in each review). The rear cam is just as clear as the front and I can even see their license plate in the rear cam when it’s not moving. I think it’s great for the price. The wifi and the mobile app are ok. Not splendid, but it does the job — for example the video I uploaded is downloaded via wifi in the app and also cut in the app.Also, the time is automatically corrected to standard times once you set your time zone. It does NOT reset to 00:00:00 when you leave it in the car for the night. It also comes with speed and GPS recording at the bottom left corner and they are accurate!I can’t say too much about durability yet but everything is great till this point!

After researching 3 months found a small lightweight camera with a reasonable price. Bought 2 weekS ago. Using it already one week. I Like it. No issue found. Both front and back cameras working well. GPS recording is perfect, didnt try downloading the software to view recording of GPS with Google map.Will write another review may be in a month so after recording along out of State trip.Some improvements like more small and mooth adjustments in vertical direction and some horizontal adjustment capabilities. Because it doent have suction cup and uses double sided tape for camera attatchment with the windshiel, once fixed no way to move horizontally.For now I am happy. I wanted to give 4.5 stars for this reason but excelent cutomore service is prevented me to do so. Any questions got reply next day. Hope they will continue this type of customer service if they want customer loyalty.Will not tell about night vision because didnt check it and my windshield is dark and the back glass is darker

It advertised with free hardwire kit. Hardwire kit not universal (fuse-wise) but it’s free. The loop recording records in one minute long segment – not continuous (you’ll have a bunch of 1-minute recordings on your microSD card). The video playback software is not compatible with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. You’ll have to buy a Windows 10 CODEC extension software from Microsoft store for 99 cents to view video playback on Windows 10. I haven’t had the chance to install the rear camera. But the front camera video quality is excellent. The audio is poor though.

So I bought this on Amazon, fully ready to send it back if they had over advertised it, and was proven wrong. I’ve used it for weeks now and the camera quality is good, goes down a bit when transferring over different apps, but easily fixed by plugging it in to your computer and downloading it.Settings and buttons work just fine, any questions or issues you have they address very quickly, and are actually really helpful.I installed my hardwire kit, which they refunded me for(they offer to send it free or to refund, contact their support if you buy one), and it said it couldn’t detect it. I told them issue and they sent me a new kit in days. I was worried this wouldn’t fix the issue since one of the top 1 star reviews had the same issue, but I found when I let the car on, powered off the camera and powered it back on it fixed it like that. So that may just be a bug.The app functionality is good not great, like the slide bar when watching a video is a bit unresponsive, but overall its all a steal for the price. Two cameras, one 4k and the other 1080p, with an app, with built in g-sensor, gps, and speed, which so many companies try to sell as an accessory even after you spend $300 on the camera, is an absolute steal at $140.Get it now while its this price, plus with that good of customer service, I fully expect them to work out these bugs on the hardwire kit and the app, and if I’m wrong I will be sorely mistaken.Hope this helps new buyers, don’t be afraid of the hardwire kit reviews, or the low price and low brand recognition, its a great camera unless you are going all out and have money to waste.-Adding this a few weeks after my initial review. A problem I had with the app that they said they’d fix, they fixed it. The slide function was iffy and trying to today its a smooth as ever. I’m really happy with this service, and am even more confident that little issues will be worked out quickly. So glad I made this purchase

I’ve wanted a dashcam for my 2015 Chrysler Town & Country for the longest time. I did a ton of research before buying and delayed purchasing for quite some time. While I’m sure some of the competitor models are good, I finally decided on the REDTIGER 4K front/rear dashcam. I liked this one for the features and the great feedback I saw. REDTIGER dashcam shows very clear images, has Bluetooth and GPS capability, and a parking mode if hardwired (I didn’t do that part yet, but I’m about to). Installation is on the right side of the rear view mirror and that actually is good since you don’t want to be gawking at the camera and not at the road. I just connected it to my iPhone today using the UCAM app and it worked flawlessly. Great field of view, clarity, and smoothness. If I wanted to take a photo or save the video, it was just a press of a button on the phone. I was very impressed.Installation was ridiculously simple and that part startled me because I am not usually adept at this type of thing. Except for the 2-3 inches of wires by camera, the wiring is totally invisible. I do recommend going on YouTube and watching how to install the rear camera on a hatchback to get the wiring in the correct location.Customer service was exceptional!! I had purchased the dashcam for $149.99 along with a hardwire kit to use the cam in parking mode that was paired with the cam for another $18.99. The dash cam comes with a 32GB mini-card, but I upgraded to a 256GB mini-card. Well, the paired hardwiring kit had the wrong plug so it had to go back. While looking on Amazon, I saw a new deal for the exact same REDTIGER 4K dashcam for $118.99. I asked Amazon for a credit, but they said I had to return the unit and reorder. So I reordered the dashcam, but I decided to wait on the wiring. The new unit came in the next day, but it did not have the 32GB mini card. I received an email from Ms. Shelly, REDTIGER representative, who was concerned that I had a poor experience. I explained that wasn’t true; I simply couldn’t get a credit from Amazon. I told her the hardwiring kit wasn’t correct and the mini-card was missing on the new unit. Ms. Shelly from REDTIGER immediately apologized profusely and said the company would make it right. She was professional, patient, and knowledgeable – very customer service-friendly. I asked about an extention cable to the rear of the van and the cost because I wasn’t sure the supplied rear camera cable would be long enough (I hadn’t installed it yet). But REDTIGER company promptly sent me one free of charge! As it turns out, the original cable was just long enough, but if I decide to reconfigure the cable location, this extension will come in handy. Oh, and they also gave me a new hardwiring kit free, AND gave me a credit for the missing 32GB mini-card, even though I said it was ok because I had purchased the 256GB card. I offered to pay for the wires up front, but they wouldn’t hear of it. The point is that REDTIGER, through Ms. Shelly, provided OUTSTANDING and PROMPT customer service. They didn’t have to reach out, but they did. They didn’t have to be concerned, but they were. They didn’t have to provide the accessories for free, but they wouldn’t take no for an answer. They went out of their way to make it right, and they weren’t even the ones at fault!! And Shelly is simply the BEST!! She demonstrated the company really cares.I cannot speak to the folks who didn’t enjoy this dashcam, and here’s hoping it works for a long time (it’s not even close to hot outside yet). But I am absolutely thrilled with both the cam and the company. I highly recommend this brand and trust me, it usually takes a lot for this old Air Force retiree to recommend anything – this was my experience. Sure glad I bought this REDTIGER dash cam.ADDENDUM: After about 6 weeks, I did experience an issue with the camera not synching with my new phone. I contacted REDTIGER and Ms. Shelly was genuinely concerned and immediately sent me a new unit. This new dash cam works perfectly and I am grateful for the absolutely OUTSTANDING customer service AFTER the sale. This is the customer service one would expect from all sellers, but we all know that doesn’t always happen. I mean, how many times have you read where customers got stiffed because it was after the return window? I can testify that mine was after the return window, too – But REDTIGER stands by their product and made it right without any hassles. They just took care of the problem. My new unit arrived exactly 24 hours after the conversation with Shelly. I stand by my earlier comments that I am so glad I bought the REDTIGER dash cam. This one is working just fine.

Did not come with SD card.UPDATE: After posting this review the company promptly reached out to me and were very cooperative and helpful. They quickly fixed this issue and even went beyond that. This was definitely the BEST experience I’ve ever had with customer service due to: how fast everything was handled, how nice the representative was that handled our case, and the company taking the initiative to reach out to me to fix it. Additionally the company asked for suggestions to improve their products and genuinely want to use our feedback to improve their products and experiences for their customers. I cannot speak highly enough about this company and I will DEFINITELY be prioritizing them when making similar purchases in the future.As for the product, everything has worked perfectly for me. The quality of the video is good, plenty of options to customize how you want your video to be recorded, and the wires and cameras were easy to install with the kit they provided!

I purchased this dash camera to replace my old dash camera. After receiving the camera, I installed the camera with it connecting to the cigarettes ACC port. I tested driving for several days.+ The video quality really surprises me.+ Night vision is good enough to catch movements.+ The camera is small enough to hide above mirror, which does not block vision.One thing I really care about is the parking mode advertised. The seller contacted me after one week and sent me the free hardware kit. It took me several cycles of time to figure out how to install it in my SUV fuse slots as I was not familiar with that. I contacted the seller several times on some installation questions in my occasion, and I got timely and detailed responses which helped me a lot. The product provides all the features I feel are required for a good quality dash cam at an excellent price. Picture quality is great day and night. Seems well made. No issues so far. Easy installation. Dash Cam is staying installed on the windshield. I installed mine a little off-center on the front windshield and I still get a complete front end picture. Rear camera works well. Works well so far in the Texas August heat. I am going to install the hardware kit now that I am satisfied with the unit itself.
