Unit562 –
I wanted a set of small speakers to run with a subwoofer testing setup, decided i’d take a chance on these knowing full well that Pyle’s car audio equipment is generally horrible. These 3 inch speakers are AWESOME. I’m using a 3 channel class A/B amp that doesn’t have a high pass filter on the speaker channels, and the distortion is still very minimal. They don’t reproduce bass what so ever, mids are decent and highs are crystal clear.

I removed the front and cut the rear off and converted this to an extended matching communication speaker to go next to my Icom HF tranceiver. Sound quality is great.

These little guys are great. When I upgraded the TV in the sunroom last year, I still had the remains of an older Yamaha Theater amp and a couple speakers. So, I got a rebuilt Yamaha sub, moved my existing little speakers to the “surround” position, and got these for the TV “center front”. THEY SOUND GREAT. Mounted on the wall, right above the TV. Big difference when I shut off or mute the amp and listen just to TV speakers. Good sound in a small package, with very good frequency response overall in that little pack.

I was rearranging my room, and I had old Bose speakers which gave a muffled sound…. I took my other Bose speaker and replaced the muffled ones. I needed some new speakers to replace the Bose… So I went browsing on amazon.com. I had came across these little guys. And it wasn’t going to cost me a fortune like some I have seen. I took a chance on these… To my surprise, they fill the room with good sound, yet not like full size with bass, but good quality sound. Now my room has a good quality of surround sound , now all four speakers are playing, with clear sound. I am happy I bought these, yet they do not take up space, easy to install.. Just put in the wire and you are set….these speakers are music to my ears…..

I amusing these speakers with my Ham radios vs music, not the intent of the manufacturer but with very good results. From a ‘cosmetic’ point of view they match the color scheme and size-wise blend well with the radios. Very good mid-range performance – which is perfect for voice. Enough bass and treble coverage for the speaking to sound normal and they drive well with 1 – 3 watts of power from the source. Also, one radio I use receives FM broadcast band and while a mono signal, the audio from one speaker is also very good leading me to think they would also be a good performance/value for a home theater system as well.

For $18 these speakers are incredible value. I set them up with a Lepai 2020 T Amp and the cost for the entire systemwas only $36. This system has replaced a pair of self powered computer speakers, and clearly sounds superior.I continue to be pleasantly surprised at the tremendous value to be had in entry level audio components from companies like Pyle, Dayton, Lepai and Mediabridge (audio cable). The fact that these components actually sound quite good, and forsuch a reasonable price, is proof that you don’t have to take a second mortgage out on your home to purchase a nicesounding hi-fi system.

I bought a new receiver for my tv and went from a 5.1 system to a 7.1 system. I bought these two speakers to be the extra 2 speakers to make a total of seven. They are small but put out good sound. The price of about $35 is good and this product meets my needs perfectly.

You’re looking at a pair of $16 speakers for a reason, right? Maybe you have a small room. Maybe you have a smaller budget. Maybe you want to try something out before committing to a larger investment. Maybe this is a component that complements you current audio setup. In any case, you’re reading the reviews because you have one question in your head: Can a pair of $16 speakers possibly be any good? The answer is yes. These little speakers perform remarkably well for the price. And in some cases, you may even be able to remove the caveat “for the price.”I bought these to upgrade my home office. Listening to music through my Amazon Basics computer speakers just wasn’t the experience I wanted. But for the smallish room (maybe 12′ by 12′), I also didn’t need something that was going to blow me out the window. I already have two turntable setups, and I didn’t want to invest in a third system. The price tag, as well as the quick shipping, sealed the deal for me.I have them connected to a Pioneer receiver I had lying around after an upgrade a few years ago. I added a (very old) center speaker, mostly because why not? Honestly, these 3” speakers do most of the lifting. I was surprised by how loud they can be. And while you certainly wouldn’t expect a lot of bass with these, they still hold their own. I listen to a lot of fuzzy, low-end riffs, and these speakers performed much better than my computer speakers.I like that I can still keep these even if I upgrade my system. They’re small an inexpensive enough to move to a garage or other exposed space. If you’re like me, you have a box of old AV stuff somewhere (noteworthy – these don’t come with speaker wire) – you can toss these speakers in and use them in your front yard for Halloween or give them to your niece when she goes off to college. The cost, size, and versatility mean you’re not overcommitting yourself.I’m in that narrow space where I’m not an audiophile, but I’m still picky about audio quality. These get the job done for me.

Arrived quickly and installed easily. My TV was hard to hear even at the top volume if there was a fan running or a dishwasher. Background noise really interfered. I was looking for an inexpensive option to boost the volume. These Pyle speakers look good and provide all the volume I can use. The music that comes through on movies and TV shows sounds great to me. I would recommend these to a friend. If you are looking for “super” quality audio, you might want to go with something else. As I am not an audiofile, the sound is fine for me. But then, I can’t tell the difference between cheap beer and expensive beer.

Sound is good for what they are, if running any EQ software of from a decent stereo system. No sound quality adjustments but they work great for Ham Radio equipment.
