This is the best cat food ever!! I have multiple chronic vomiting cats definitely multiple times a week I’d find piles somewhere, my one was just about every time she ate and it wasn’t always due to hairball either, but once I switched them all over to this, they not only love it but I maybe find a pile once a month! and even then its much smaller and has less to it than any of the others I was finding before this food. And my particularly bad cat who had some digestive issues seems to be doing great. This is the only hairball formula food I’ve tried that actually works. I recommend it to anyone who has the same issue as I do and they all seem to love it too. It works great and the cats seem to love it! It can’t get much better than that! I just wish it was more available in stores.

I have a cat that vomits and has hairballs frequently. He always scarfs down his food too fast despite using an auto-feeder to portion it out and putting rocks in the bowl to slow him down. This would lead to him vomiting right after eating several times a week. On top of that, he’s also the most “aggressive” groomer of my two boys, and they’re both long-haired. This lead to him having frequent hairballs despite my best efforts at using a FURminator on both of them to reduce how much hair he ingests. Oh, and he also regularly had horribly foul, soft turds.Enter this food. I’ve gone through about 25 pounds of it now and in that time he has had two hairballs and has vomited twice. This is a MASSIVE improvement. Both cats also have nice firm turds now with much less smell.I was very stubborn for a long time about feeding “high quality” foods like Wellness Core and more recently Wysong Epigen (big mistake), among many others. This is the cheapest food I’ve tried so far, and for my sensitive little nugget-boy it’s been by far the best.

I bought this in desperation ; my 16 year old hyperthyroid cat on medication, not doing well, continuing to lose weight despite kibble changes , vomiting at least daily , did a hairpin turn for the better after her first meal of Purina ONE. Not even 1 bout of emesis thereafter. I didn’t add the new food gradually, as I knew I should. ; as a physician, I felt she couldn’t get any worse and needed a quick fix. I also believed she was just going to dwindle and die despite whatever I did. So: skeptical as I was, I was wrong . She’s back to her old self, gaining weight, gettting a new coat that is healthy and shiny compared to her mangy former self, and best of all: no hairballs ! I have no idea why this worked; it did, and both she and I are happy once again.

…and they ate out of the same food bowl while I was pouring it.Now, I’m not going to say that means it’s automatically the best cat food in the world. But they will. These are two fiercely annoyed, both want to be only cats that believe in their own space, not touching, and pretending the other doesn’t exist, and they were eating only inches away from each other, while I carefully tried to not pour on their heads and start a fight. So right there? Five stars. Maybe more. It’s small, easy to nibble pieces with a variety of colors and shapes. Sometimes this is good, sometimes they pick out one favorite and leave the rest – time will tell.As I’m typing this, they keep going back to the bowl and grazing on more. Perhaps this will bring world – or household, at least – peace. If it also reduces the number of 3am hairballs, all the better!

I truly LOVE this cat food… I have three cats & one of them has been leaving gross little chunks of hairballs around my house EVERY SINGLE DAY for YEARS (yes, I really love her) – well, it’s finally over…. now it’s just once in a while & that is normal. Trust me, I have tried soooo many different foods – even the really, really, really expensive ones and nothing helped – the Vet said she’s “sensitive” – seriously? to what? Everything????I was so frustrated (especially hearing about it every day from my not-a-cat-lover husband) I would give 10 stars if I could!!!

    Thinking…

Cats love this as much as they liked the chicken kitten food and the salmon adult, non-hairball food. Protein content is high for this food in this price range. No stinky bowel movements, and much-decreased frequency of those wet n nasty hairball incidents. Now only one or two incidents a month, instead of weekly, from our extremely long-haired and fluffy-coated, twins.Good price, good quality, arrives very quickly when using Prime. My grocery doesn’t carry this one at all, and the pet store never has bags bigger than 7 lbs, so this is perfect for us.

We’ve tried PurinaOne Tender Selects, PurinaOne Sensitive Stomach, and PurinaOne Indoor Advantage in that order. The cats did terribly on the first two, and were okay for a while on Indoor Advantage. However at some point in May, ours cats caught a mini plague or something (?) and a couple were vomiting every day for a week. I made vet appointments for them, but we were nearing the end of the bag of Indoor Advantage, and as a last ditch effort I switched to this Hairball Formula. They immediately stopped vomiting once I started this blend. I cancelled our vet appointments, and sure enough, they haven’t been sick for almost three months now. Of course, there’s a good chance that Purina has some type of quality control problem, but for now, we’re about to start our second bag of this formula and are still going strong. Fingers crossed that it stays that way.

Bless this cat food! I adopted my 2 kitties from my very good friends in the army who had to move to Germany and could only bring 3/5 of their babies. So we took in 2, come to find out they both had very bad hairball problems. Not only would they eat too fast (we also bought them flow feeders) and throw up ALL the food they had just ate, we would also find actual hairballs every single day throughout our apartment. As soon as we changed to the slow feeders they stopped throwing up after they ate. However, since they’ve been on this food (which we mixed at first with their old science diet food) we haven’t seen a single hairball. I hope I’m not speaking too soon seeing as though they’ve only been eating it for maybe a week+ now. But like I said… we haven’t seen a single hairball!!! Normally we’d see at least one or two a day… now there’s none. I’m 100% giving all the credit to this food! Not to mention the cats LOVE it! They get so excited when I fill up their bowls now… it’s amazing. I’d totally recommend this cat food to anyone that’s having hairball problems AND picky eater problems. This food is awesome!

Not sure why they asked how the taste was…I’m not eating it… LMFAO I’ve looked at all pet stores, the online pet website thing, and this is the BEST Bang for your Buck!!! Only food I get here and it lasts me a LONG time! I only have 1 cat, and she gets one scoop in the AM and one scoop for dinner PM, about 1/4 cup or so each, and this bag lasts me at least 6+months! Recommend getting some kind of storage container or bucket with a lid, to keep it fresh, and to keep the fresh “starving” cats and mice out of the bag! hahaha

Love this food for my babies. Its also alot cheaper than pet stores or other retail. 2 of my 5 fur babies have hairball problems and skin and stomach issues the other 3 have so i buy 16lb bags of both and mix. Too hard to feed everyone separately. But since i switched no more hairballs or throwing up. Their coats are so soft and the shedding and dander is down they also love it honestly!. I would highly recommend. I have a tuxedo, seal point siamese, calico, orange tabby, and a maincoon. They range in age from 7-2 years old so its good for all ages and breeds. I have included 3 of my boys lol
