This is a good price on a 32-can assorted variety value pack. My 2 boys are indoor/outdoor. They like to sleep away the day inside, and spend the nights outside, where they hunt rodents and other critters in a big fenced backyard (where they’re protected in our wilderness area from coyotes, bobcats and even the occasional cougar!).I’ve tried many wet-foods over the years, and the one I keep coming back to is the Purina Friskies Shreds. It’s easy to serve portions (not messy like some pate-style), and these cans are big enough that I put a plastic snap cap on and can keep it fresh in the fridge for a couple of days.I augment this with “human” meat — frozen white fish (any kind on which I can get a good deal) and free-range boneless chicken, to round out a healthy diet.They love every flavor in this variety pack, and always lick the bowl clean. Recommended!

My 14-year old kitty loves all the varieties in this Poultry Pack. I had been feeding him special prescription food (dry) because he has Feline Urinary Tract Disease and had a blockage once. But I recently read some convincing information that the prescription diet dry food may not be the best approach. It works by adding salt so that the cat will drink more water, since more water intake is the best way to combat urinary issues. But why try to make the cat thirsty when you can simply feed him food with a higher water content to begin with (in addition to his water dish)? Especially these “gravy” styles, they are quite moist and I even add a spoon full of water and mix it right in. I’m NOT A VET, I AM NOT RECOMMENDING THIS for everyone, please do your own homework and decide for yourself, between you and your cat’s vet. My Vet said this was worth a try especially since my kitty hasn’t had a urinary blockage in years and it was only one time. So far so good, he’s been eating this for two months. I’ve noticed an increased need to scoop the box too and the clumps are larger (my vet said to pay attention to see if his pee litter clumps were larger or smaller as we made this transition), so he’s definitely urinating a healthy amount. Also, during my research I learned that the lower the amount of Phosphorus in the cat food, the better, as far as UTD risk factors. Apparently fish and seafood flavors have higher levels of phosphorus. So I did some more research and this brand had the lowest Phosphorous levels I could find with their chicken and turkey gravy-style flavors.So I found this Poultry Pack that has all chicken and turkey combinations with gravy (“bits, shreds, filets” all in gravy). Another added benefit to this gravy style as opposed to the “pate” type canned food, is that the cans are much easier to rinse out for the recycling bin, nothing sticks to the can. So my kitty seems very happy and I’ve noticed a general mood improvement as well, he’s been more affectionate. I think he’s just feeling more satisfied overall.

i didnt realize until writing this review, that i was sent the wrong item. i thought i had accidentally ordered paté (i didnt order paté, but that was what was sent) instead of the normal shredded and chunky bits that i like to order. my feline friends seem to really enjoy it to point they keep trying to get me to give them more. they are cleaning their food bowls, so thats a good thing and it seems to have good moisture.

We feed this variety pack along with the ocean fish shreds to all 4 of our senior cats. We changed from dry kibble when we adopted a senior kitty with diabetes. The shelter had him on an expensive prescription diet, but after much research, I found that Friskies Shreds have more protein and fewer carbs per serving making them even better for our diabetic senior than the expensive prescription diet. Eddie VanWhiskers is happy and healthy. His diabetes is diet controlled, and all his blood sugar curves have come back looking good at the vet. Our other three senior cats have lost weight since the switch and are getting around better with less pain as a result!

Well, this review wanted to know how I rated the flavour. I’m sorry, but I’m not about to taste cat food. However, I have a goofy 15yr old son, with even goofier teen buddies and I discovered they dared each other to take a heaping spoonful of the cat food. (Insert vomit emoji) They all said it tasted pretty good and reminded them of the canned beef stew or canned shredded turkey with gravy. Gross.Well, my elderly cats certainly like it, though I figured I’d have to ward off my younger cats from eating it, I never thought I’d have to hide them from my son’s friends, lol.They arrived promptly, in good condition, well before the “best by” date.I use the subscribe and save and get one of these and a case of another, each month, so I can start stocking up. Recently our WM was out of cases of canned cat food (try and say THAT five times fast) so I had to get the Special Kitty canned food, single cans.No problem with that, except there were only about 5 cans of that and that was IT. No Friskies, 9-Lives, Special Kitty. Just empty shelves. I grabbed two large cans and figured I’ll see what my local dollar store has for canned.This food has plenty of gravy for my cats, I add a bit of hot water to heat it up for them and they love it.

I always buy Friskies wet food for my three cats since it’s the only brand they all have consistently liked. They won’t eat pate, so I’m glad that Friskies has multiple other options like these shreds. I also like that they come in multiple different variety packs so my cats aren’t eating the same flavor every day. And the 5oz can sizes make it so I only have to use one can a day versus several 3oz cans (they get wet food as a snack in the morning). I bought off of Amazon because I forgot to pick some up at the store. All the cans arrived intact.

After doing the math, these cans are no more or no less than at my grocery store, except for the fact that they get delivered to my doorstep and I don’t have to mess around with buying them anymore. My cats are picky; and there are certain flavors that they don’t like and/or make them “puke”. Every flavor in this pack are their favorites. This is definitely how I’m buying cat food from now on. Recommended.

If you want to stock up on your Friskies can wet cat food this 32-count pack is a fine value, especially as it can be currently difficult to find these on your local store shelves, unfortunately. So, if you have one, two, or more feline friends to feed and care for, this may be your best bet, and no more than one can a day per cat is recommended. Also, nice to send this as a donation to your local animal shelter who will appreciate it. Hungry cats who like chicken and turkey will agree!

My cats just love the taste of this food! They will eat the entire can from all different flavors. Very happy with this brand and my cats are happy with the flavor.This cat food does not dry out and stays wet the longest. I would recommend this cat food to my fellow cat lovers!

I Fergie, believe the chefs have surpassed what I thought they were capable of, I think I shall let them pet me. Although the mom human dropped one can dented it and her toe, the can seemed to be ok, the toe she’ll get over it. Buy it, no guarantee your King or Queen will like it as you know we change our minds faster than we go through open doors. But, because I’m the only one who matters, I like it.
