I am so relieved and happy that I found this wet food for my sensitive stomach senior kitty! She vomits a lot and is anemic, picky about food, becoming skeletally thin and it was worrying us immensely–this food has started fattening her up a bit and I am very pleased that she eats it all and keeps it down! She is 12 years old and I cannot believe how into this food she is. Thank you, Fancy Feast, for saving my girl!

I don’t know what’s in this one that’s so different from all the other flavors but my 6 cats (yes 6 don’t judge!) go crazy for this flavor and they always eat it! They’ll even eat food that they don’t like if I mix this with it lol. My cats are 3 seniors and 3 under one year. There’s real whole shrimp (at least one) and fish in every can! Bravo fancy feast for pleasing my picky arse animals.

We adopted one cat named Jonathan Louise (female) who will only eat Purina Fancy Feast Flaked Fish & Shrimp. Until we found it, I thought she’d starve because she refused to eat anything. The can really does have a shrimp in it, right on top as you peel back the top. The food is flaky and comes out of the can easily. Any other cat who approaches her Fancy Feast suffers her claws of death. The rest of us suffer her screaming at the fool who dared approach her food dish, too.So, if you have a very picky, demanding cat, try this one.

We have a princess feline living with us. She runs the house – and that’s mostly my fault for spoiling her.The one thing where we weren’t spoiling her was cat food. Oh we tried to spoil her but she wouldn’t let us. We’d been feeding her kibble from the supermarket. Not because we’re cheap or we don’t love her. It’s because it’s the only food she’d really eat on the regular.Sure we’d get other kinds of food and she’d eat a portion or a can and then turn her nose up later. But the kibble – she always came back to it. I think that stuff must be the cheetos of cat food. We live in the country and there are a lot of free range cats out here, some of them even come in our house and they all want to eat that dang kibble! But I know it isn’t good for her.So I tried a couple dozen different cans from the supermarket. I got two of each kind/flavor. She ate all the flavors of these creamy Fancy Feasts so I started buying these and giving her 2 cans a day and then some kibble that she can free range from and it’s been going pretty well.Ordering these online is a lot better than getting from the market. The subscribe price is great but even if I don’t subscribe it is still better than the supermarket price PLUS I can always get in stock from Amazon where the supermarket is usually really picked over. The cans arrived with no damage, very reliable shipping.HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We recently adopted a tiny, underweight, over-bred exotic shorthair with a very hard time eating. Her face is extremely flat and she has had almost all teeth removed, so she can only eat wet food. We had tried so many different options until we landed on this one. The gravy bits have around 78 calories per can and the pate has around 114 (according to our cans). Not only does this cost way less than other “high calorie” branded choices out there, but our kitty genuinely seems to like the taste of these the best. The other highest calorie food we have had luck with is the Royal Canin Mother & Baby Cat, but it costs way more and our kitty never finished her serving so we wasted a lot. We have also been using the fancy feast for seniors to give a little variety to her diet and those have 95 calories per can. The only downside is that since these are heavy in dairy, your cats’ bowel movements will reflect that. That’s why we switch between this and whatever other high calorie wet food we can find. In short, if you’re looking for a high calorie food or a nice treat for your kitty, you’ve found the one!! If this is just a daily source of food for your normal cat, I would go with something else.

My cats are older now but they are picky eaters. They’ve always loved fancy feast but there was never a senior edition until now! Thank goodness b/c they love this stuff.Only think now is they are tired of the same flavor and I’m on the hunt for the variety pack of senior food. Please make it available on Amazon.

I have 5 cats. 4 are senior. 15, 13, 11 & 10. This particular food is better than many of the senior options out there. The morsels are minced. This is perfect. It does not require lots of chewing and grinding which can be a challenge. It has gravy for moisture, but not in an overwhelming amount like many have, which can lead to digestive issues for your furry senior family members. The minced Turkey for adult 1-6 years was always excellent, but that has been discontinued. I was happy to see this on Amazon. It is not easy to find. I do see the prices on this are now also extremely elevated. I am not sure if that is just following many of the stores that have raised prices In an extreme way given the materials shortage for packaging or if this item is also discontinued, and will dry up soon.

My cat is VERY PICKY …. years ago somebody told me that this particular flavor of Fancy Feast didnt have all the extra junk added to it that their other canned food does…. Well guess what its the only food my cat will constantly eat! She turns her nose up at so many canned food products … I’ve pretty much given up trying other brands. The think I love about this product is you can see the flakes of fish and shrimp … I can identify the food :) My cat can too… and she gives it 5 stars been eating it for 4.5 years!

What is a food snob doing reviewing Fancy Feast? I’m trying to get word out that this is a cat food with no carrageenan and a pretty impressive nutrient profile, boasting 17% protein and smelling remarkably fresh. We feed several food sources, with a limited amount of seafood, and this is their favorite in that category. For now. Because cats. For the curious, there seem to be as many mcg of heavy metals tested to be found in land-based proteins as there are in seafood, so I’m not overly concerned about serving fish any longer. Good to follow this subject if you eat or offer it. Our whole family partakes (not the cat food, though I’m not sure there’s much difference).Love the little shrimp on top. Like serving Tiki Cat at one-third the price. I love Thailand. My cats love Fancy Feast Flaked Fish & Shrimp!

Like many others, I have a very picky senior cat (16 years). She’s like me in that she’s very picky about texture (broth/sauce lover, also flake but never anything like pate) and flavor with her food. She’s always had trouble keeping weight on so I supplement her dry with wet but she only likes seafood flavored wet food. For a while, I fed her Fancy Feast Broths which she LOVED but I couldn’t afford to keep up with due to the high price and low portion size. I gave her Iams Purrfect Delights for YEARS and she loved that, too, but they recently discontinued it so once again I was faced with a wet food dilemma.I remembered her loving Fancy Feast so I thought I’d browse their selection and see if I could find anything for a better deal. She loved the fish and shrimp Broths so I bought the flaked fish and shrimp variety and it was a hit! She loves her Fancy Feast and I love that my tiny cat eats every bite and licks her plate clean.Unfortunately for me, I am a vegetarian and terrified of seafood so what everyone else loves about this product – seeing the flakes of fish and the real shrimp and the fresh seafood smell – makes me seriously ill because I don’t want to identify or look at the food but on the other hand I do love knowing I’m giving my cat something whole and good. The things we do for our animal friends, right?
