We have a long haired cat (polydactyl) and recently moved to The South. In this heat his long hair was getting itchy and even out other cat washed his coat as best she could. I think we all had hairballs! Our old slicker was small, and worse it was missing! This slicker arrived in two days and from the start it removed almost a whole cat worth of fur. It left or boy a and fluffy like a little puff of fog.Now as soon as I pick it up he’s on his back and looking for attention. The only improvement I would ask on this is a brighter color so I don’t lose this one. If I do though I’ll buy another of these for sure. Not the cheapest but worth three times what I paid.

Can’t believe that our 14 year-old, very weird, Siamese loves getting brushed with this. We have tried many & none come even close. He actually sits next to the brush & calls to us, loudly. The fur comes right off with the push of the button – just as described.

My two dogs, one with long hair (Sapsaree) – think bearded collie, and the other with curvy fur and long hair combo (Sheep-sari) Sheepdog- Bearded collie type mix. This brush does a great job on both of their coats. Neither of them minds being brushed – the Sapsaree is a breeze, the Sheepsari takes HOURS.The push button cleaning feature is awesome. It’s so easy for me to stop in the middle of a section and I can clean the brush in a matter of seconds without having to find something to pull the hair from the bristles.I highly recommend this brush to anyone with a dog – especially if they begin to shed between seasons.

I wasn’t sure if they would like this or, since they are short-hairs, if they would find the bristles too much on their skin. No need to worry about that. I bring this brush out and they all can’t wait to get brushed! For me, I like that the base moves up to easily clean the hair out

I’ve been on the hunt for a good cat/dog brush for quite a while now. We have 4 cats, 2 of which are long haired, and 1 dog. Just recently they started losing their winter coat and this is working great at helping them shed all that hair. My kids love to brush them and it’s super easy for them to clean.

We have a small mixed breed nut job that leaves hair from one end of our house to the other – it’s everywhere. He has an unbelievably dense fur coat with two levels of fur – the inner coat is about 1.5″ long and the other just keeps growing until it gets cut. This brush is the only one he will tolerate out of the 3 or 4 distinct types of brushes we’ve tried. It is fine enough to get through his fur without pulling on him. On the first brushing, my wife pulled out a pile of hair that was about 1/2 the size of the dog. It was unbelievable. The bad news is that after the brushing, we are seeing even more hair around the house, but I think once we get him on a regular schedule, it will disappear.

Kat VonD Pawsington is my rescue and my heart throb but he is such a special case. Only wants to be touched when he wants to be touched and holding him is out of the question. But we have an arrangement that I must hold him at-least once a week. When I purchased this brush it was hard to get him to like it. Then he started getting used to it and wanted me to brush him all the time. He would sometimes look and stare at the brush until I noticed he wanted me to brush him. Then is was happiness all day long. The most horrific thing happened I threw it away in error. Oh Boy.Well the morale to this story is to keep the brush in a safe place and your cat will smile always.

Fantastic brush! It has little cushioning thingies on the tip of every thin thin metal bristle allowing for it to almost glide through my dog’s rough hair. He hates being combed or brushed but he tolerates this one without much complaining. Then with push of a button the hair neatly comes of the brush.

Wow! My cat loves this brush but, not as much as me! It removes all that extra fur and when you’re done, the push button actually works really well pushing it all up to the top of the brush so you can easily remove it off the top. I have arthritis so I really appreciate the easy cleaning!

I brushed my big kitty often with a different brush that just didnt seem to be helping. I used this brush for the first time and look how much hair I got off of him in ONE sitting! I’m amazed! He seemed to really enjoy it. There were a couple places with matted fur I didnt think were possible to get out without shaving. This proved me so wrong! I focused a little more attention on those spots, but before I knew it, they were gone! I wish I had this brush sooner.
