***UPDATE*** April 2019, still going strong, back to buy another!Original review:One week in, functionality gets 4 stars. You have the option of depressing pump slowly so the soap runs down into your hand or on a scrubber- or my kids favorite: depressing it quickly, a bit more forcefully & having a stream shoot out across the sink. Very handy for hand washing or dispensing soap across a large area. The clear bottom is great so you know you’re getting low. Will update over time if durability doesn’t live up to the 4 stars. With 4 kids this pump has already gotten quite a workout & I love that it keeps people like my husband from dumping 6 oz of soap in each bowl he washes. My dispenser didn’t come with the sticker some people complained ruined the finish so maybe those previous complaints were addressed.Of all the dispensers I have bought so far this one is a favorite as far as function. Would be nice to have a color choice besides stainless but it works great so far!I am going to buy some for the bathrooms so my kids don’t go through a bottle of hand soap each week…

The media could not be loaded.  This dispenser worked great for two months. We have a dishwasher, so not used often, but served its purpose well. I love the look of the dispenser and how sturdy it is, but it no longer works now. I can press the button and no soap will dispense. There is plenty of soap in there. Was able to fix the issue once but it quit working again within a day. Not worth spending 5 minutes fixing it every time I need to use soap. I’ve posted a video so you can see what I’m referring to.

This looks great in our kitchen (important for our open-plan house), and we find that we use far less soap because this dispenses a small amount with each pump, so you get only what you really need. I think this also helps to prevent it from clogging, like my pump shampoo and conditioner – a constant battle to unclog the nozzles on those. The non-skid base is great, and the dispenser feels very solid. Definitely a well-made product.

I’ve had this pump for about 3 years now and it’s still working and looks great! I was a little shocked to see that this dispenser only gets a 3.4 rating because mine has outlasted several other pumps at lesser used sinks. There are a couple of down sides to the pump. First the press button on the top does tend to collect junk from your hands or minerals from hard water and must be cleared frequently. Secondly, it sometimes does dribble a little soap after you pull your hand away. This is not common so it really doesn’t bother me. I got mine for the kitchen and it is used and abused all day long. I think I’ve got the smallest spot of rust on it, but it’s so minuscule no one would notice. It has definitely outlasted the stainless canisters I had on my counter. There is always the chance that the company cheapened the metal since the time I purchased my pump (if so, that was a bad mistake on their part). From my experience though it is an awesome dispenser and I would highly recommend.

This is a high quality soap dispenser. I have gone thru several soap dispensers that either rusted out or the pump would stop working. In the past I was buying for look and not practicality. Gone are those days of frustration! This soap dispenser has made me very happy as I do all my dishes by hand. The pump works very good. Capacity is pretty large too.

Been needing a dispenser bad to make washing dishes a lot easier. Its much easier now then taking the time to rinse off my hand, pick up the bottle. Dispense, put down and continue. Now I can just hold my cleaning scrubber and use the side of palm to dispense soap, its actually given me a little more time in my day and dishes feel a little less like a chore now. This was much needed and its fantastic, ive waited awhile to make a.review as I wanted to full test. This is a very nice dispenser for the price. But its kinda stylish too. It dispenses easy, in good same size amounts, one spuirt it good for a sponge and can get a full load of like 20 plates down. So im also saving soap cause I’m not using as much now and still getting the same clean!

When we put in our drinking water system, I lost the counter space for my soap dispenser. I needed a dispenser I could leave in the sink without it taking up too much room. So, I bought this dispenser and it works great. The base is wider than the top, so it doesn’t tip over. Plus, the button for the dispenser is not the type that spins or moves (think of long skinny neck dispensers). So far, it’s the perfect dispenser!

The only OXO product I ever had a problem with. It pumps ONE DROP at a time. I filled it with consentrated Dawn dish soap. I guess it’s designed for portion controll??? My soap does last A LOT longer and my dishes are clean (but i don’t have the satisfaction of a full pump of soap!) It takes getting use to…UPDATE: I have used this for a couple of years now and I’m happy I did! It still looks as new as the day I unwrapped it and it still dispenses just a tiny amount per pump. I have noticed that it has kept me from wasting soap and my dishes are just as clean. It makes sense to reduce consumption and be more responsible about our environment, -and budget! Plus, I really enjoy not having to buy soap as often!

Almost seven years ago, I recalled everyone claiming that this thing rusted. I was hesitant, but OXO was a brand I trusted. So why am I reviewing this now? Good products deserve recognition. I’ve attached photos to show that my product is rust-free after seven years. Yes, you heard me right. For transparency, the occasion water rust spot will appear. However, a steel wool sponge will remove it with ease. If you’re hesitant about buying this product, don’t be. It’s lasted me for seven years, and at this rate, I’m going to be able to pass it onto my grandkids.I’ll report back in another 7 years to see if this is still functioning.

I had the old version but it broke and got this new version. I really like the stainless steel covering most of the body so I only fill it once it gets to the bottom where it is clear. I do wish it dispensed a bit more product as I need to press four or more times to actually make my sink bubbly. Easy to clean. Has been working without issue for months now. Looks very nice. I would just have it squirt a bit more product with a bit more pressure like the old model but the look is very nice.
