I really like the size, ease of assembly and transport, and the bulbs don’t get too hot.

Elevated my picture game tremendously. I was nervous about this as I am amateur when it comes to photography. I am so glad I bought these and the carry case is phenomenal as the lighting breaks down easily. I would recommend keeping all the boxes the stands and bulbs come in for added protection. You will definitely notice a difference in your photos on cloudy days when natural light is lacking. Only wish there was a way to dial the lights (dimmer). I’ll have to invest in some smaller wattage bulbs. This is great buy for what you get.

WOW!!!!!!!!I have to say… This might be.. the best deal I’ve gotten in a while on Amazon. What a FANTASTIC bit of kit! For the money? If you need professional results on a budget? BUY THESE RIGHT NOW. They are PERFECT for YouTube Vlogging and commentary videos!Everything you need is in here. It’s well constructed.. Light weight but NOT FLIMSY! The stands are GREAT! And man DO THEY GO HIGH! Easy to adjust! The boxes are GREAT! The Bulbs are AWESOME! It’s also a breeze to put together! They give off PLENTY.. of very soft.. natural.. light! What else?? A nice carry bag is also included. Though mine are in a fixed location now.. But it IS nice to have that bag. This one is honestly a NO BRAINER.Go for it!

These lights work great and are reasonable priced. Just a few years ago lights like these were triple the price. I use them for on-camera video shoots for my website and my sons acting. If you are just starting to shoot video in your home these will totally work for you.

I needed to make a private Youtube video for a business project, and needed more light. This was an excellent choice. The design of the system is very good, and all parts fit together well. Assembly is a no-brainer, with one exception: the light box is held open by a mechanism like an unbrella. There is a ring that snaps over the light socket to hold it open. It appeared to me that screwing the bulb into the socket would hold it open, but that is incorrect. The ring needs to be firmly snapped over the socket first. Then the bulb is easy to install. The stands adjust very high, with a good locking mechanism. I wouldn’t take this system on a road trip with a band, as it is not that heavy-duty, or that bright, but for the use I described, it was perfect. For making Youtube videos indoors, this set is a bargain. Highly recommended.

I got these to take my YouTube videos for my business to a new level. I do most of my shooting at night and lighting was always a HUGE issue and actually demotivated me from even shooting videos for a while, because they just looked like crap. I’ve only really been using a single light box and it’s more than enough. I’m not expert, but I like to try to look like one and these definitely helped.Something to keep in mind – if you’re shooting video with a smart phone, the lenses are smaller and crave light. A good, newer phone shoots video on par with entry level DSLR’s and no one would even know you’re shooing with your iPhone or Galaxy if you have good lighting, like these set up. If you’re a pro, I’m sure there’s more professional set ups, but for us simple beginners, these are perfect and budget friendly. The only feature these don’t have, which would be nice (and is probably available on more expensive units) is a dimmer style switch, so you can adjust the brightness.Tripods are little flimsy, but more than adequate; however, I think you may see failure if you’re throwing them around a lot. The power cords have a 3 prong plug and aren’t super long, so you may need a 3 prong extension cord, not just a standard, interior extension cord.

This sofbox lighting kit comes very well packed and all folds down into a nice small carrying bag. It is great for my food blog. The good light levels has really made it easy to film indoors or at night. The stand is sturdy enough to keep the softbox straight up, no top heavy. I would recommend it especially to beginners who don’t want to spend a fortune on something that you’re not totally confident in using and this definitely won’t let you down.

First of all, this is a great value. It’s probably not for high-end professional photographers because there is not a lot of adjustment and there are no camera interfaces. But for the small shop and quick work this set up is really great. The quality is reasonable and the stands are stable. Again … it’s all about bang for the buck and this kit — in my opinion — has great value.

I am very new to portrait photography, so I don’t have much to compare these to. As a beginner these lights have been great, simple to set up and use. To me continuous lighting was easier to start with than flash (also don’t want to expose small children to tons of flash) and these lights are not very expensive. The case is great and everything fits inside including the stands, light frame, light covers, and lightbulbs in their boxes. The case itself does not seem super durable. Mostly it is the zipper that seems a little cheap, but I make sure to zip it slowly and not try to force it. The height is super adjustable at several points on the shaft so these can go fairly high. I would get some sandbag weights to drape over the base just to make sure kids/pets do not knock over, especially if you want to make these tall. I am still playing around with light placement and angles, but I have managed to produce some nice portraits with these lights, which is awesome considering I am learning as I go.
