I purchased this SHIMOR mini projector randomly for our basement entertainment project and set up for kids. I install and set it up as soon as it arrived at our doorsteps on Sunday( purchased it on Friday, tks Prime).here are my takes on this projectorPROS:# build quality is solid, does not feel cheap made# video color: it’s a budget projector, so not much to say about it. I watch some 1080p videos straight from youtube and it looks pretty good#remote control: simple and easy, even my 10yrs old know how to use it without reading the user manual#dual HDMI ports: more the better, no need to switch video source cables anymore.#size: yes size does matter. and this unit is small enough for me to keep it right next to our gaming system. deskCons:#no WIFI or BT connection: I should have read more carefully before purchase it. It’s really not an issue anyway# video color seems a bit yellowish to my like, but still, I can live with it. my kids can’t even tell the difference.# need sound ( I used my computer speaker)#projetor angle adjustment: height adjustment or base stand that can help to raise the projector showing angle.overall, it’s a pretty decent budget projector for all my basic needs. If you are searching for 4k videos output then this projector is not for you.

We took this projector and homemade projector stand on a Girl Scout Camping trip and it was a huge success!! This projector works great! Easy set-up and a great picture. I do recommend hooking a speaker up to it, it isnt very loud without one. Especially if you are watching with kids🤣

This projector have high quality of the view but it’s not good as tv. It has the fan sound but not too loud and won’t cover the original sound at all. It has many languages to choose and easy to setup. It’s not too easy to connect with the phone, you will need buy another wire to connect with the phone.

Full disclosure – I have an Epson 3600e 1080p super bright projector in my basement set up for movies/sports etc. BUT I have wanted to be able to watch movies outside or when camping and didn’t want to risk that projector outside – so i picked up this one from SHIMOR. Obviously it is not as bright as the Epson but it throws a nice picture ESPECIALLY when you consider it comes with a screen. Again the Epson has a better picture and more adjustments, but this projector is 15x cheaper.It has a simple focus control wheel and keystone wheel on the lens (no scrolling through menus to adjust) which is all you really need to set it up and start showing movies. This is probably what i like the most – a perfect picture is not what you are after with this price point. You are after plug and play and this projector gets you going quickly so the kids are not waiting around for you to get the movie going. Surprisingly, it has 2 HDMI ports and 2 USB ports. I hooked up my Roku stick, set it on the table in the back yard, hung the screen on the swingset in the back yard and we had movie night going. The picture is sharp and the built in speakers are definitely loud enough for outside use. I recommend the ‘music’ setting as it seems to push up the bass and that works better for movies. Overall, very happy with the package and the projector. It is lightweight which makes it great for travel but we will see how it holds up. If any issues pop up, I will update.

The media could not be loaded. I highly recommend this to anyone who is in need of an affordable projector. I bought this for our Thanksgiving family dinner, but unfortunately was cut short due to the pandemic. Still, I was a bit surprised that it comes with a Projector screen, which a lot of Amazon sellers don’t offer or comes with extra charge.The installation and setup are very simple, I was able to use HDMI cable and connect my computer to play movies. The projector itself has its own speaker so you don’t need to buy another one. The projector has a very clear, crisp view.

Hey this took a little time for me to set up and played some of my favorites movies or even YouTube songs in a karaoke night but every second works!It’s so compact and the instructions and bottoms are so easy to follow , just with my little white wall all the pictures are sooo clearly and we have so much fun just enjoying a movie.I’ll said enjoy and have fun adding this to your home cause every dollar works for us .

This is a great little projector. I have one in my own home and have loved having the ability to watch movies in my bedroom as well as ability to take it outside for an outdoor movie. I bought this one for my grandson who is away at college. He loves it! He said the picture quality and sound are great. It is absolutely perfect for a bunch of college kids. It’s easy to take places and a snap to set up. The remote was very easy to use and we were pleased to find two HDMI ports, which makes it easy to plug-in and leave the Xbox and fire stick. I was pleased to also find a large curtain in the box. It was like getting an added bonus! I didn’t expect it to be in there! It also came with the tools I need to hang the curtain! I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Wanted a TV for our california room. Unfortunately to get electrical on my concrete smooth stucco wall isn’t as easy as I thought, and way more expensive. Decided to try this projector and it’s great!! Great quality and sound! Allows for keystoning and fine tuning focus. We connected our chromecast and it’s working great! PS. Don’t mind the blue taping that looks like a U! That was when I thought we were putting a TV! It’s not the projector!

AMAZING VALUE!! Our favorite family past time used to be going to the movie theater, due to this virus we have not been to the movies in almost a year now..my husband partially finished the basement, set up a mini movie theater..This was the best value I could find for features, and the fact that it came with its own projection screen was the deciding factor.I haven’t use the protector in years, these have come along way! I could not believe how quiet it is, it did not interrupt the sound from the cinematic experience whatsoever..It’s wide versatility is awesome!Able to stream from my iPhone X seamlessly, luckily I had an adapter hanging around the house that worked perfectly for it.. also , We are able to stream our favorite subscription movie and video applications with ease.The picture quality is amazing!
