Cheap brand, put with my horrible experiences with name brand players, this no-name brand takes top honors. Works well in a commercial training room with lots of playback so far. Very impressed.

The media could not be loaded. This DVD player, no matter the price, is good quality. The built-in USB port lets me view a slide show with sound when music and photo files are placed in the same album. The user-friendly Remote control is a plus, and even batteries are included.

Simple basic DVD player, exactly what I wanted. This is a very basic DVD player, the only feature I wanted was for the player to have a light of some kind on the front so I could tell if it was on or off. Which is surprisingly hard to find, who knew? Well this player has the light. It has a good quality picture, the remote is easy to use, and overall was easy to install and operate. I would definitely recommend and purchase this product again.

Very happy with this DVD player. The multi-region feature works flawlessly. Image is excellent on my HD 50 inches flat screen tv. Can’t judge yet about the dvd player reliability over time, but so far so good!

UPDATE: I do have to say the customer service was phenomenal. They offered either a refund or a replacement within 12hrs of my contacting them. I opted for a replacement, I always like to give things/people a second chance. I did not have to ship the damaged one back and received the new one within days. It was a tad different than the other, manufacturing seemed a little more solid. The ease of hook up and use extremely easy and exceptional. A few days later I received a follow-up call from a Megatek representative (Jessica). She was also the same rep who responded via e-mail when I contacted Megatek with my dilemma. She was extremely pleasant through the whole process and assured me that if anything should go wrong that this product is covered by Megatek and they stand by their products. It’s not often these days to get such great customer service…..for this reason I have given them a 5 star rating. Extremely pleased with product and service.

This is a GREAT little player! Perfect size, super easy to set up. Love that is has the “memory” to pick up where the dvd was playing when the machine was shut off! I bought 2 of these based on prior reviews! The price can’t be beat! One of the players I purchased is used every day, and is still going strong after several months, the other one is used occasionally, by my daughter in her college housing. I highly recommend this item!!

I bought this DVD player to play DVDs from regions other than the U.S. So far it works perfectly. It is a no frills DVD player and the picture quality is not HD but it is sufficient for my needs.

Better than those units that only function with a remote. You can access main functions with buttons on this machine or use the remote. I like having that choice (esp when I lose the remote). All metal, quiet. Works with all regions. No need to spend more.Update: I can also add after a couple of months that It still works well and this company has excellent customer communication & service.

I’ve had this unit for 6 months and I’m real happy with it. I use it mostly for yoga and meditation DVDs. I used it with a CD and it plays perfectly. I put in a homemade DVD-R and I was able to view the pictures on it. On the homemade DVD the picture was only on half the screen and the quality wasn’t good. However, I could view what was on the DVD.The reason I purchased this unit is because it plays every DVD and CD I have, homemade and store bought. I was not able to get a reliable player that I could use on my Chromebook. This fits the bill and the price is very reasonable.The only negative is that there is a hesitation when a DVD first starts to play. Sometimes it also sticks or acts up. Once I cleaned all my DVDs they don’t stick anymore. The hesitation is still there.Another positive point is that the DVD starts playing exactly where you left off. Even if the power is off or unplugged completely. That feature is especially nice on the workout DVDs because you don’t have to suffer through the intro again.
