I was definitely a makeup remover wipe kinda girl (Nutrogena, Equate, etc.) but it always felt like I ran out of them too fast. Some of them burned the heck out of my eyes. Not to mention, they’re so expensive to buy over and over again! I decided to give this makeup eraser cloth a try. I was very skeptical at first, because how can a plain cloth with nothing in it take off all your makeup? With just water? Well, I still don’t know, but I do know it works wonderfully! It definitely takes off my full-coverage foundation, waterproof eyeliner and mascara as well. It’s super soft and doesn’t feel like I’m tugging at my skin at all. I love that it’s kind of big, so you can use different sections of it for a week and then throw it in the wash. And apparently it lasts 3-5 years?! I’m going to save so much money! And then I’ll buy a new one!Works best when fully saturated with water. Don’t squeeze the water out, just wipe!

I purchased this because I have sensitive skin, and removing make up is a pain. Almost everything I use to remove make up makes my skin red and puffy. Not only did it remove almost all of my make up, my skin wasn’t irritated either! I used a cleansing facial wipe after using the make up eraser to test and see if it removed all of my make up, and sure enough it did! I am so amazed by this! It’s so soft too! I will purchase more! I definitely recommend this for people with sensitive skin like me.

I had seen the Makeup Eraser advertised for a long time, and even put it on my Amazon wish list, but was too skeptical to buy it. I just couldn’t see how it would be possible for a piece of microfiber to remove all my make-up, especially on my eyes, without any facial products. I wear a full face of make-up, including a two step microfiber mascara, eye shadow, and liquid eyeliner that I typically could only remove with lots of hot water and cleanser, followed by Mary Kay eye makeup remover. I finally decided to try it, however, after seeing so many great reviews. And I was SHOCKED! I got the cloth thoroughly wet in warm water, held it against my eyes for a few seconds to soften the mascara, and started rubbing gently. It removed absolutely everything! My entire face was clean in no time and using no other products. Because I was still skeptical, I put some toner on a cotton pad and wiped my face with it, expecting to see hidden traces of foundation on it, but nothing! It was cleaner than it usually is after washing with liquid cleanser. The only downside I’ve found is that black mascara/eyeliner does stain the pink fabric, so even when it comes out of the washing machine it tends to look a little dingy because of the staining. It might be nice if they offered this product in black or a dark purple color that would hide the discoloration. Overall, though, a very minor complaint on a fantastic product. I’m planning to add one to a gift basket for my mom this mother’s day too!

I was so ready to write a review about what a piece of crap this is; boy was I wrong! This actually works! I usually use the Neutrogena cleansing cloths which work okay but this makeup eraser blows them out of the water. I can’t believe how great it is.UPDATE* I’ve had this for about two months and I still love it!Another UPDATE* I went to a show last night and got the dreaded -haaand staaamp-. Of course, because they use ink developed my NASA, I couldn’t wash it off. I can’t show up to work with a giant robot stamped on the back of my hand so I scrubbed and scrubbed. When my skin was gone but the stamp wasn’t, I tried the Makeup Eraser as a last resort. That sucker damn near got the whole thing off!!! I’m so impressed by this thing I’m going to get another one just in case they stop making them!

I’m a drag queen with pretty sensitive skin. I CAKE on the cosmetics to create my illusions, and the cold cream and terrycloth removal method was just not working. My skin would be raw, and I’d have to go through 3 cloths just to get 90% of my face off, and still have to go to bed with some eyeliner on. Cue MakeupEraser. This little puppy made me go from woman back to man in less than 2 minutes with JUST WATER. I have on full coverage stage foundation, enough powder to choke a horse, 24 hour wear lipstick, and tons of black eyeshadow with glitter. Buy it! It’s awesome.

DRENCH this thing. Get it SOAKING, SOPPING WET – and everything from waterproof mascara, to false eyelash glue, to lip stains just melt right off with a few gentle glides across your face. IF YOU HAVE TO RUB – IT IS NOT WET ENOUGH. Seriously. When it’s fully wet, a gentle glide is all you need to erase the makeup from your face. DON’T WRING IT OUT after wetting it. If you do, it will be too dry. If you don’t want it to drip, then BARELY wring the ends of the cloth, but keep the rest fully soaked. TRUST ME it will work for you. Just keep re-wetting as needed. I have extremely sensitive skin and even mildly abrasive things, like makeup brushes or cotton rounds, will cause irritation. This is the most effective makeup remover I’ve ever used and it is so soft and gentle. I’m gifting every girl in my life this for Christmas. I don’t even follow this with a cleanser on my face, it is so effective. I just use the Makeup Eraser and then my moisturizer. My skin has never looked and felt better.

I purchased this based on some positive reviews, and they can’t even touch how amazing this product is. When I purchased this product, I did so because I was tired of using mascara removers and washing my face and still having mascara or makeup on a makeup pad while swiping toner on my face. Well, that problem is now gone. This product seriously does what it says – it erases makeup! I could not believe the way it removed my makeup the first time I used it! You use it for a week, toss it in the wash, and use it again. I was wondering how it would clean up in the laundry, and it looked brand new – no mascara was left after it went through the wash. I will be purchasing a second one, and hoping that they continue to make this product as it is – no changes. It is amazing and if you’re considering purchasing it – do it! No more chemicals to remove that makeup!

THIS. THING. IS. AMAZING. I have literally never had clearer skin. It does exactly what it says it does, erases your makeup. Waterproof or not, it all goes away with just a little water and a little bit of scrubbing. I will forever be amazed by this. Never buying another makeup remover product again.

I received a sample of the Makeup Eraser and immediately fell in love. No more wasted cotton pads and bottles of makeup remover. But when it came time to order the full size product, I was a little nervous about ordering on Amazon, as some reviewers thought it might be a fake. So I decided to order one from the Makeup Eraser site (the purple one) and one from Amazon (the pink one). My opinion is that they are exactly the same. No fakes here. Plus, it was less expensive on Amazon and I got an even greater discount for “no rush” shipping.

This is some kind of miracle cloth, I’m pretty sure. I was tired of using oily eye make up removers and still having to scrub with make up wipes to remove it all.
