Once I figured out that I COULD sharpen it with a regular lip-liner sharpener, I decided to order more of the colors to try as this lip liner does NOT ‘bled’—yahooooo!! The manufacturer (& seller) REALLY need to post the sharpening instructions in their ad AND with each liner, since their unusual “plastic-looking” coating panicked me too!

I have spent a fortune on lipliners. I’ve tried them all! Some are much better than others. Usually the more expensive ones are better. I bought this because a Youtuber I follow recommended this. I have to say, it’s one of the better ones I’ve used. I’m 60 years old and it looks GREAT on me! It’s not dry or cakey. It glides on smoothly, stays a long time and looks amazing. I LOVE it!!!

Read several reviews that say you can’t sharpen this pencil. ..BUT, using a good sharpener works fine! I was frustrated too until I decided to use a sharpener and see what happens. This is a plastic pencil and it needs slightly more pressure to sharpen than wood, but IT WILL sharpen. The plastic is smoother and doesn’t have a “rough” pencil sensation when we applying.Overall a good lip liner. Manufacturer should give better direction on use since so many complaints.

This is my favorite lip liner ever. It goes on so well and really stays. It must be sharpened with a regular pencil sharpener — no twist-up. While it looks plastic, it sharpens normally.

I absolutely love yes L’Oreal brand of lip liner! It’s very soft to go on, but it lasts longer than a lip liner I’ve used without staining your lips. Beautiful color!!

I have found that you CAN SHARPEN this with a regular pencil sharpener. Though it APPEARS PLASTIC it does work.L’Oreal REALLY SHOULD PUT THIS ON PACKAGING – I’m not ONLY one that THREW OUT because didn’t twist or advance up.- – – – – – – – – -Silly ME, I ALWAYS use L’oreal & DIDN’T READ REVIEWS. Just as many others, I used several times & couldn’t find a way to advance product. I took off small color tip, & looked into a SOLID NO TWIST Container!I COULDN’T BELIEVE ANYONE WOULD SELL THIS AMOUNT UNLESS MARKED “SAMPLE” because that’s what IT IS 5-6 uses MAXWhat’s UP LOREAL?
