How to Wear It :
-With a light touch, apply the liner starting at the inside corner and work outwards. Instead of trying to apply it all in one line, draw several smaller lines.

This is one of my favorite eyeliners, and it’s a bit cheaper to purchase online than instore. I love the thin applicator; it’s perfect for doing an extremely thin winged eyeliner look, which I do frequently. The product itself lasts fairly long, only needing to be reapplied once during the day. It’s not really a matte eyeliner though, it has a sheen, so if that’s what you’re looking for then this won’t be it.

For some reason, black pen eyeliners seem to generally flow well, while brown doesn’t. Black is too stark for my coloring, and I was completely disenchanted with multiple brands of brown that were dry, flaky, and/or like trying to apply with a fat crayon. (Sometimes when the same brand in black worked great.) Then I found the Revlon ColorStay Mahogany Flame. LOVE IT! Here’s why:1) It’s not a pen, but it has the flow and precision of one. The tip of the brush is just right–the point allows you to make a barely visible thin line, but if you load the brush with product, you can get a nice bold effect.2) The color is GORGEOUS. It’s almost a copper color. Subtle but strong.3) It lasts. I tend to have oily skin, so some eyeliners will pretty much just melt off shortly after application. When I come home from work 10 hours after I applied this eyeliner, it’s still there.4) Super affordable! This is SO inexpensive, and if you want to save even more, you can get it through Subscribe & Save.Cons:1) If you get this in your eye, it stings. That’s pretty typical of most cosmetics–they don’t belong IN your eye. But when you’re working this close to the eye, it’s going to happen once in awhile. I have been using Revlon Colorstay eyeliner for about ten years now after switching from my trusty burnt pencil in highschool (90s girls, you remember doing this). So when I saw how cheap it was on Amazon versus my local drugstore I had to try this one out even though it said “Skinny” I figured, it’s a felt tip I’ve got this. Now, admittedly it was a little tricky at first especially if you’re used to the fatter tip on the original colorstay liquid eyeliner. But I found that after only three or four times applying it was significantly easier to get a more natural cat eye with this one and not have that overdone pin up look. With the skinny version I’m able to just lightly define my upper lashes. The formulation on this one is not drying or overly wet looking either. With some pen eyeliners as soon as I sneeze it’s all over my lower lashes! Revlon doesn’t crack, smear, or dry down looking like a sharpie either. So while it may take some getting used to, for the price this seller is selling for…just get it!

Got this for my daughter who likes to do wings on her eyes sometimes. This works perfect. Fine lines and it goes on easy and stay puts. Last all day.

I have used this product for over 20 years and I don’t ever plan on changing. This stuff dries well and the applicator is a good and thick felt too not a thin bristle brush like a lot of eyeliners. It washes off with water but I can sleep in the stuff and it’ll still be on the next morning. It has a great dark color. When I use it over eyeshadow I typically put a second layer to make it darker. I will buy several so that I make sure to have back ups for when I run out. That’s how confident in this eyeliner I am.

I absolutely love this eye liner. I have this color and the brown color. I have tried pretty much every liquid eye liner on the market but this is the only one that I kept going back to over the years. The skinny version is great for very fine lines (I make a conservative little cateye swoop on mine) and the regular is good for everyday liner.

Personally myself I am new to liquid eyeliner since I’ve always heard they were a struggle , but this eyeliner is great to practice with and it is affordable has a very nice brush and is easy to remove and doesn’t cause extreme irritation after taking it off with a makeup wipe after several attempts to create the perfect wing 10/10 recommend for beginners overall happy with product (let me know if this was helpful thanks :) !)

I don’t wear this often but if I go to a punk show or a drag contest at the club, this is my go-to liner. Precision tip allows you to control so much better. Give yourself sharper contrast and great edges. Guys tell me all the time that I have sexy eyes. Thanks Revlon. I also tried wearing this while watching The Notebook, cried like a baby and it didn’t matter. This stuff is the real deal.

WOW, this is an incredible liquid eyeliner ever!!! I was on the quest of searching the best looking Black eyeliner out there and I thought I’d tried Revlon Superstay Liner in Blackest Black. I’m so pleasantly surprised! I finally found my holy grail and I just purchase another one! This color is really incredible-matte, deep and opaque in the very best way possible. The brush is pointed and short haired-making it easy to control and make drawing a perfect wing less daunting. I have tried so many popular liquid eyeliners, such as Soap&Glory’s Supercat (Jet Black and Pitch Black), Inglot gel Liner #77, Estee Lauder Liquid Black Liner ‘Onyx’, NYX Black Epic Ink Liner, Tarteist Black Double Take Eyeliner, Milani Black liquid eyeliner, etc….you name it! They are all quite good but nothing impresses me as Revlon’s Colorstay Eyeliner. It has all the qualifications that I’m looking for: deep jet black, matte, natural, consistent, non-transferable, quick-drying and very easy to use.
