Picture is deceiving it’s not pink it’s actually brown-ish when you see it in person.I’m updating my review to a positive one even though the color is misguided as the quality of this lipstick it’s actually great! It’s smooth, silky and it stays put for a few hours. I would buy more shades.

This is a very creamy matte—it doesn’t dry out my lips quite like other matters so. That said, it also *looks* creamy, so it has a bit more sheen than other traditional mattes too. What’s impressive with this lipstick is the color saturation: it produces a very rich black. I have two other mattes from this collection (see second pic!) and they’re also quite vibrant. It’s a comfortable lipstick to wear too. I tried out 4 different matte black lipsticks (this one, NYX, Milani and Lipsense), and this was in the top 2 alongside Milani. Milani‘s is a true dry matte; this one is in between, but it’s so comfortable and colorful to wear. It does smudge and I did need to reapply throughout the day, but I know that the more muted colors in the collection last longer. It’s just hard to wear black (or any dark) lipstick without having to reapply!

Love this shade untold stories!!! Watched a video on YouTube on Kelly Strack and she recommended this shade on her Amazon video and I love this!! So pretty and moisturizing.

I love this lipstick. It’s pretty for every day not just special occasions. For me, it’s difficult to find a color that suites my skin without being too pink. This goes on smooth and has a creamy moisturizing effect. I bought the mauve color and really enjoy adding some of my pomegranate color Burts Bees chapstick with it to give it more shine although it’s perfectly fine on its own. As for longevity, it’s like most typical lipsticks, something that has to be reapplied a few times a day. This shade is not bold yet not as subdued as nude shades can be. I notice my cheek’s natural rosy-ness comes out with this shade so no need for blush. For comparison, I have a pale neutral skin tone with dark brown eyes and ash brown hair with carmel and honey highlights.
