Short background: My husband and I purchased an ibaby m7 baby monitor ($180) before our first child was born. With the birth of our second child we moved to a larger home to have more room for the kids. I have been looking for an inexpensive option to monitor the additional rooms. With mixed reviews, I was skeptical of these monitors but purchased the two pack. The intention was to put one over each of the boys beds and move the ibaby to the playroom. Upon their arrival I immediately set them up. The camera didn’t connect on the first attempt (worry set in) but was successful on the second. I had no issues setting up the second camera. After seeing the picture quality and the ease of mounting I immediately ordered two more. Yes, the night vision isn’t perfect on these cameras but, considering the price, it is excellent (and definitely better than the ibaby camera). This is just another lesson that more expensive doesn’t necessarily mean better quality. I am incredibly impressed with these cameras and fully recommend them.

The set up on these cameras was SO easy, even my non-tech savvy hubby was able to open app change camera names and view what was going on. He’s like Fred Flintstone and does own smartphone but does NOT know how to text, surf, download apps….omg lord help me. But these cameras have super clear quality and ability to add sim chip, which I already owned, but super easy to install and add and view!! Im going to order a lot more!!!

After months of reading reviews I FINALLY made a purchase and I am extremely pleased! The picture quality and clarity is just what I hoped for and the night vision is also great. The only thing I might add is that when talking on the 2way speaker is there’s a 2 second delay. I wouldn’t reduce my rating because of it though. We’ve learned that if I’m away and it’s necessary communicate via camera to wait a second to to respond and we’re ok with that. I didn’t mount them with the stickers that were provided because they’re placed in the right location for them to stand. I was really impressed with how the camera head swivels to position it at any desired angle. The power cord is long enough for us and there’s even excess length to tact down. I can’t seem to think of a better purchase to make than Laview. I feel the comfort that I needed to watch over our life’s possessions while away from home. I’d recommend to anyone, but do all the research for your own needs.

Pros: Easy setup. I had both cameras working in minutes. Clear picture, app will let you view up to 16 cameras, manual screen shot, manual record of clips, small footprint. You can record to phone memory. I formatted the SD card in my computer and it records continuously to the card. It doesn’t record sound but the video records in a loop. it will notify for a security event if you set up alerts. I gave 5 stars because for around $20 I got more than I expected. Alerts work with Apple Watch.Cons. Comes up with an error message when you first hit playback. Cancel the error and it works fine. Some quirks but for the price and functionality it’s well worth it.I’ll definitely buy more as I find more areas to monitor.

Great product for the money. Installed these for a small clinic to keep tabs on people coming and going. Being able to invert the image is a big plus as these are being hung from the ceiling tiles. One technical issue I’d has is that if you have the wring timezone set on the device you install with, you CANNOT correct the time without resetting the camera and reading it. The cameras support TF memory cards but it cannot be utilized until you format the card. USB cable is plenty long enough and overall a great product. Highly recommended with great image quality for this class of camera and an exceptional field of view.

these took minutes to set up, are very affordable. the phone app is easy to use. i use with alexa on my laptop and also on alexa show unit. very pleased. You can view 16 cameras at once on your phone if you wanted to. I will keep adding them. I currently use them to check in on the dogs when I am not at home, and check for packages/mail.

I disliked the night vision because if it’s too dark you’re unable to see anything, which sometimes isn’t good for security purposes, but other than that I will give this camera an A.

I love this camera more than expected! It detects sounds and motion but can be turned off too. The app is great and stores the video in a cloud so you can go back and view it. Super user friendly. Definitely worth the money!

Works well in a one-bedroom apartment! I am extremely pleased with the performance of this device. The night vision is very clear, and the audio registration is, too. Was able to hear maintenance personnel lock and unlock my front door clearly. There is two-way audio so I can also speak through the microphone from wherever I am. The motion and sound detection alarms work well and give me push-button alert notifications — but they are a little sensitive so use with discretion. There is also a playback feature which allows you to see and hear video captured for the past couple of days so that you can clip and save video clips that you think are important. Simple, but effective, and has given me great peace of mind!

Being on a fixed income I searched for a camera I could afford, but would still provide me with outstanding performance. This was it. Never heard of this brand before I started my search, but I’m glad I found it. Each of their cameras are controllable with the LaView app and they are apparently compatible with Alexa/Google. I, myself don’t utilize all of that, but it is available. I purchased my camera(s) because I had a 3 week obligation out if town and I needed to keep an eye on my pet sitters AND my pet. I also wanted to monitor my home/property. I chose this camera because it was a great price and offered superb features. The picture quality is phenomenal and the night vision is just as crystal clear!***the thing to note when comparing products: this one is just as good as the more expensive one. Feature to feature is almost exact. The reason for the price difference, in most cases, is because the more expensive has the SD card INCLUDED this particular one does NOT. (I did not need one.) SD cards are available from this company and you can choose between sizes as well. I find that more beneficial because you’re not paying for an SD Card [you may not use] upfront and then need a different amount of storage and have to buy another.
