Great for me. Our paving crew uses it daily. We went with a stainless handle that screws into the head of the brush.Great set up for sweeping rough roads where the paver picks up and makes a mess. It’s not that type of street broom that has threads, they would never last. You simply get a street broom handle with no threads. You insert the wood handle turn it upside down and take the bottom of the handle and hit the road and it locks the head in place. It’s not designed to have threads.

Couldn’t believe how hard it was to find this locally so once again Amazon comes through. Love this broom strong enough for my gravel driveway. Would have been nice if it came with a handle but I got one at Lowes

Looks to be same quality of head that after just 6 years ( ha ha ) of use on the street, pushing dirt, big piles of leaves and mud, old head just fell apart. Was looking at replacement brooms YIKES to get same quality gonna cost me close to a hundred bucks. This was under 20. Son removed the broom handle and bracing from old broken head. Measured and drilled holes on new head. Re aligned the broom stick hole on this new head. Installed old broom stick and the bracing. My Son used broom for about 20 minutes on cement patio. Says, works like old one did when it was new. How about that ? Seems to be well made. The bristles ( man took me 8 minutes to remember Bristles ) are well attached to the wooden head. Over all looks to be quite well made. Might be a good idea to protect the wood with a sealer of sorts. Anyway, I think this was an excellent deal and am happy with myself for clicking on the BUY button. Don’t hesitate, if your finger is itching to click on that buy button, scratch it HIT THAT BUY BUTTON !!!!
