I had never had a lip liner pencil in the color NUDE before but the Amazon review were so positive and thought – why not give it a try? I had always been a “plum” type of lip liner gal.Well, I have been missing out !! Nude lip liner is the WAY to go! It lines your lips so naturally and any lipstick color you add to your lips looks so much better and contained with nude outlining your lips.I will be a repeat buyer to this Nude Lip liner again.Read the reviews, including this one. I rarely write reviews but felt I had to write this one. Enjoy !

This color is beautiful. The silky consistency of the pencil can be used to fill in the lip as well. Then apply a light gloss. This is a daytime or evening color -just wish it was longer wearing. BUT love it !

Better than large, popular, expensive makeup brands. I own over 200 lip liners. and even more lipsticks. These lip liners are so great! Smooth going on. Stay’s on fairly well (although you will need to reapply after eating like usual). Fantastic color coverage. The color Terra Cotta is perfect on fair skin! LOVE these!

I really like Jane Iredale beauty products, especially her pressed powders which are superior to anything else I’ve tried. I’ve given her eye shadows and lipsticks a try as well and most of them are okay, but not exceptional.Well, this lip pencil is, and is simply the best true “nude” lip liner I’ve ever used and just ordered 3 of them to make sure I have one wherever I go. It’s not just the texture which is great – it goes on smooth and it sharpens to an exceptional point and really helps prevent that upper lip “bleed” line that you can get when your lips age.But to me what’s best is the color itself. It’s a great nude color with just that little bit of color that’s not too pink or beige or brown. Instead it looks so natural and makes your lips look fuller and natural. I use it to color in my full lip and then I add the Jane Iredale LipDrink Lip Balm in Buff to top it off. That helps hydrate your lips a little bit and blends in perfect with the lip liner. Then during the day I just need to freshen up with the lip balm, the liner remains intact.I have found as I have gotten older that I want my lips to look fuller, but I don’t want them to be too colorful and I want to look more natural yet still look like I care about the way I look. THIS combo is finally the answer for me.Highly recommended. Like I said I just bought 3 more of these pencils and 2 more of the lip balms in buff I like them so much.

This pencil was recommended by a YouTube beauty blogger for that 1990’s nude lip – Kylie-Jenner-esque – that is really popular for Winter 2015. I really love it. It is quite a brown pencil – although it is described as nude. I have a medium tanned complexion with brown hair and green eyes and this pencil is my new go-to everyday lip pencil.It was a little drier than I anticipated. It has great pigment. Not a long-lasting lip colour so will need touch ups.

I am very careful about lip pencils, because some cause irritation. However, because this is a Jane Iredale product, I felt safe going in, and she proved me right. I find this perfect and unobtrusive. The real purpose of lip liners is to stop bleeding from lipsticks. It is supposed to be a background player to the lipstick, not the star of the lips. This liner “stays in its lane,” if you will.

This is not only a great product but a great color too! I got the earth red & use it as a base & it’s just perfect! I had originally bought this about a month ago & lost it. :( I was so disappointed & as much as I didn’t want to spend another $11 so soon, I just couldn’t do without it so I bought it again because I couldn’t live without it. This was my first experience with Jane Ireland products & I’ve had such a great experience with this, I’m excited to try more! They’re a little pricey for me, but I can tell they’re the kind of product that probably becomes a staple in your make-up collection. Was looking for a neutral, with ever so slight pink, and this is perfect for my coloring. My lips already have a lot of color, pink, to them so sometimes it’s difficult to find a neutral that doesn’t wash me out or gets too pink. This feels smooth when applied and i can use it for a little color on my cheeks when needed (that’s how smooth it goes on).
