This Network cable kit is pretty nice.First the tool case is rugged, and has a decent feel of quality to it.Inside you find everything you need from a cable stripper to a crimper, cable testing meters.and some screw drivers There is only a few cable heads included, so you will need to purchase extra if you are doing a few cables.Outside of that just the meter needs a battery but not a big deal. The tools feel decent quality and function as they should.I do not have anything really negative to say about this tool kit. Perhaps a suggestion adding a few cable color configurations diagrams could be useful, for Rj45,and Crossover cables, and then ones for the Telephone jacks.Otherwise this could be easily looked up on google.

If your a handy man, Jack of all trades, a DIY type of individual, this is perfect for you. By no means should this kit be used for everyday work use. But if you are going to be doing networking once and a while around your home. Or friends or family. This is perfect! The equipment feels cheaply made. But it’s made for the average user. So that cheaply made is good enough for me.The value of this product is as expected. Gives you everything to get started and eventually, if this was your career, this is definitely a starter kit.

This kit has a RJ45 & RJ11 Wiring Tester that lets you know precisely that your Repair is correct or not. It tests each wire strand individually. Therefore you know quickly and easily if your is correct or not. There is a YouTube video by seller that everyone considering buying this kit should watch here:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0756SN86D/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1You have to get every single wire inserted into the RJ45 connector exactly right or it will Not work properly!

Considering for my day to day equipment I use some of the more well know equipment in the networking field I was a little uncertain about to this kit. I honestly wanted it to just have something in my car in case something came up. I do a lot of family/friend repairs. I can say I was pleasantly surprised. Quality feel to the devices. I was impressed the crimper had so many options. Most only have the RJ-45/RJ-11. I don’t have to do an RJ-12 connector often but when I do it a pain.I would recommend this for a personal home user or a something to just toss in the car.

Good product, Amazing customer service!I need to get a crimp tool and got this for the price. It does exactly what I needed it to do:) I did have one issue but that was solved quickly and professionally. I contacted the buyer and within two days the problem was solved. There was no head ache or hassle. I would recommend the product and the seller very highly. Customer service is lost for the most part but not with this seller. He was absolutely amazing and I could t be happier! Enjoy!

We have a number of Wireless Access Points in the house, and one quit working. We suspected the cable – and the tester in this toolkit diagnosed it perfectly. We then used the tools and supplied connectors to re-terminate both ends of the cable (one at a time until the cable tested good). For less than $30 we saved some expensive IT company’s labor and travel. Terrific value!Probably not for pros; the cable tester is inexpensively built and might not withstand knocking around in a kit bag for months on end. But for the homeowner who needs to do some cable work, this thing is great.

I needed it to do a simple cable project and they did the job well. The kit is complete enough and has a range for multiple uses. It is well made to suit home use and sturdy enough to last a while. Worth the money.

Overall, I’m really happy with this toolkit and highly recommend it. I have a lot of tools, and I can spot garbage pretty quickly. This is not garbage. Well constructed and precise. Actually, I’m super impressed with the cost/quality ratio. At my local Lowes, just the crimper tool was over 2x the cost of this entire kit! Some things to note: 1. Have extra wire/cable and connectors and plan on screwing a few up while you learn the tools and get them calibrated for what you are doing. 2. I have never needed this tool until a squirrel chewed through a security camera feed CAT5e cable. So, I had to screw up several times to get it right. 3. The instructions are mostly good. But… There is a confusing section where it attempts to tell you how to line up the 8 wires in the CAT5e cable. The problem is that the first, and larger image, isn’t the order to follow. You have to look at the smaller image, and ignore the larger one. It would have been great if the user manual editor would have clearly shown the correct order to arrange the individual wires in the larger image. 4. Really, this is an AWESOME kit for a great price! Just watch some YouTube videos on how to properly construct a new cable. Build a few cables to get the process down and it’s actually really easy. 5. You might consider buying/ordering extra RJ45 connectors as the kit only comes with five, and you might choose to sacrifice those as part of your learning curve. 6. Lowes and Home Depot both have bulk CAT5e cable. My local Lowes had it for 9 cents per foot, or $9 per 100 feet. Compare that to pre-packaged for $28 / 100 feet.

I’ve been able to use this kit for assisting me in ending connections with keystones and creating new jacks for ethernet cables, cat 5e and 6. I’ve also used the connection checker unit multiple times to make sure that my runs were correctly made and also to check which lines related to which (the contractors had labeled some, but those labels were somehow removed for a few of them). The punchdown tool, crimping tool, and cord cutters/strippers were all very useful and seems to made with decent quality. I’ll update if things fall apart or seem to not hold up, but for the money spent, this has a lot of what you would need.

This kit has everything you need to fix or make up an Ethernet cable. The tester is such an awesome tool and helped me diagnose some slow speeds and poor connection issues I was having with my internet service. The second time I used the tester, it malfunctioned. I contacted the customer service email in the manual and they sent me two new testers at no charge. Excellent customer service IMO!!
