This Gain version does *something* to kill multiple cat pee smell that others just don’t. We have three cats and a cat-loving kid with air quality sensitivity and this is the best litter yet.Went from scooping multiple times a day to actually forgetting about the cat box a few times. I guess be vigilant about scooping or you could end up with a full box without knowing. Yuck and yay!

We’ve tried almost every cat litter throughout the years and Fresh Step has always been the best. Even when we forget to clean the litter at the scheduled times there is never a foul smell coming from the litter box. Cleanup is simple and the clumps always stay together. You’ll always get some dust when using clumping litter but its very minimal with this product. Everyone in my household has noticed that my cat’s fur has been silky smooth since we started using this litter. I’m not sure if it’s at all related to this litter, but it’s definitely possible since there is a lot less dust to get into his coat.Overall I’m very satisfied with the product and would highly recommend it to everyone.

After trying several brands and types of cat litter, I had come to the conclusion that it was a losing battle – It either smelled, or didn’t clump enough, or it had so much dust associated with it, that I was coughing every time I changed it.I read a review on this litter and tried it, and I am so glad I did!I don’t smell anything, even when I am cleaning it, the smell is almost non-existent and it does clump together so you can easily remove what you need to.Highly recommend – We have two cats and two litter boxes, one inside in the hallway and one out on the enclosed porch. Both are places where the odor use to hit me and not anymore

They love it and so do I!In the case of cat litter, you get what you pay for. The “rocks” in this are slightly bigger and my kitties massage their feet while digging. Nothing sticks to their toes and my babies have less dust on their noses. They really took to loving the scent, watch me clean their bathroom and fight who uses the bathroom first.Sometimes I scold them for trying to get more attention by playing in there.Number two doesn’t smell half as bad when their mother goes. I will simply not buy any other brand for easy cleaning and add Fresh Step crystals on occasion.A big thank you to the makers of this!!

This is, without a doubt, the best cat litter I have ever used. I was a TidyCats man for over a decade, swearing at every cleaning worse than the father in A Christmas Story cleaning his furnace! I wish I had tried FreshStep much earlier. It is more expensive than TidyCats but well worth it. No more crumbling clumps. Goodbye forever to TidyCats’ horrible tendency to make whole sections of the litter box unusable by becoming contaminated with hundreds (if not thousands) of tiny little pieces of dirty litter — from one crumbling clump! This happens often enough with TidyCats to extremely shorten the lifespan of the litter. I swear, I have found absolutely no crumbling clumps or litter contamination with FreshStep. You may find a few pieces of dirty litter small enough to slip through your scoop holes, but not enough of them to contaminate the litter. I can spot them easily and lift them out with a corner of my scoop. As long as you don’t let those build up and clean the box daily, you will get large, easy-to-separate, randomly-shaped clumps with no pieces dropping off the sides of your scoop smaller than 3/8” — and pieces that small are rare, usually occurring towards the end of my session. Although I have lifted clumps out of the box as large as a randomly-shaped 5”, most will be 3” or smaller. Some fall into the scoop naturally. Others I slice out using the straight shovel edge of my metal scoop, and I always get nice, sharp edges with clean lines and minimal crumbling. Most of the time it takes me no longer than 15-20 minutes to clean the litter box. Wiping everything down adds another 10 min. One of my cats likes to pee all the way in the back of my very large Target-branded covered litter box, producing a saturated clump with a flat back. As long as I scoop it out every day, it is fairly easy to deal with. Going beyond 24 hours, however, results in a slushy mess that takes forever to clean; but I’m sure that no litter in the world is good enough to successfully deal with that cat’s bad habits! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

There are 3 main things I look for in cat litter: Absorbency, scent and “dust” when scooping. This checks all the boxes and is a huge step up from the more basic kinds. The smell alone is worth it but the consistency when scooping is what sets this apart for me.

Smells so amazing❤️ Can’t wait to try. It was quite a mess on my floor when I opened the amazon box though. Not a good seal. Open in garage or outside if possible.

I’ve tried many. I use to love Precious Cat and then the formula changed and been looking for a replacement. Tidy Cats sucks because it gets everywhere! Fresh step I’ve tried once before and couldn’t remember so I was willing to try it again. Night and day, from the odor and the amount on the floor from being tracked out of the litter box. Super impressed and I haven’t had to sweep up litter in 2 days, whereas the Tidy Cats was twice a day. The odor of the new litter is very subtle and I think my kitty likes it too. WIll keep on using the Fresh Step brand. Finally a replacement that keeps everyone happy.

Fantastic cat sand across the board. My only advice is to maybe get a single box of unscented to mix in.I have 2 cats, and 2 litter boxes as a result. Both litter boxes are kept in the master suite bath, which is a tad cramped. Being kept in such an enclosed space, no amount of diligence will save you from the smell, thus my choice to start using scented sand. Fresh step is the best, most consistent brand of litter I have ever found and I now exclusively use their products for my cats bathroom needs. The two pack here on amazon is the absolute best deal consistently, also.When my sand arrived, I had already emptied and rinsed/air dried both litter pans, as I do monthly. I poured an entire box into each freshly cleaned litter tray and my one cat was a bit overwhelmed by the scent, so I ran to the grocery to get the same brand in unscented and mixed half a box into each. They both love it fine, now.
