We got this during the COVID-19 pandemic so we could watch movies with our family in the backyard while “social distancing” – nice big screen, room for all. This thing is sweet! We can put it up in about 10 minutes and take it down even faster, so it’s not a “big production” to get the party started. The screen is made of a sort of stretchy/rubbery material so while it looks wrinkled in the package, once you snap it to the metal frame, it’s pulled taut and the wrinkles go away. The metal frame is lightweight but sturdy and it comes with several ropes and stakes so you can anchor it against light wind. I wouldn’t use it in a windstorm, but you can really secure it down so I wouldn’t worry too much about a little breeze. It all folds up into a convenient travel bag about the size of a large folding camp chair. That makes it easy storage and transport, which is just icing on the cake.

After attempting with DIY screen setups and even inflatable screens, I settled on this one. At first I was a little concerned with the higher price but it is 100% worth it! I’m able to set this up by myself and it takes less than 10 minutes. It’s a really intuitive design. Very strong and rigid. I love how the screen clips in tightly. Be sure to fold the screen correctly with the white parts not touching the black backing. The screen shows some creases if you don’t fold it perfectly but It’s not really noticeable in the dark. The bag it comes with is good quality and keeps everything organized if you need to store it. Overall, I’m really satisfied. I’ve used it both indoors and outdoors and have had no problems. Compact and portable for many occasions!

I wanted to have an outdoor movie theater experience with the family and since a few months ago I was looking at screens and projectors. All the recommendations lead me to the Elite yard 2 master screen and I am so glad I went with it, the quality of the fabric is superb and the frames, anchors and supports are very well built. I set this up in my front yard and couldn’t be happier, we watched the Super Bowl and then watched a movie and my friends and family were amazed. It takes me around 8- 10 minutes to set up and the same time to take it down all by myself. There are very useful youtube videos that explain the process. I am also glad that I went with the 120”, for some reason I was thinking it might be too large for my setup but once I put it up I couldn’t be happier. I have paired the screen with my Optoma HD28HR.All and All I am so happy with the screen and I will definitely use it very often here in sunny California with many outdoor movie/sports/gaming experiences. Highly recommend it!

This review is for the Yard Master 2 120″ 16:9 screen (Model# OMS120H2).Happily, sometimes you do get what you pay for, and in this case…. IMO it’s a bargain for the very high quality Yard Master 2 screen with pro grade frame.First off, Elite Screens is a real company with real support, you can order replacement parts, download instructions, order material samples, etc… if needed vs. no name manufacturers with no contact availability other than the Amazon seller, no factory support and no parts availability.Others have left long detailed reviews of the Yard Master 2, so I’ll just list some highlights for brevity:-All metal frame construction vs. plastic corners (which will no doubt break over time) on competitors screen frames.-Commercial grade heavy duty aluminum box framing… should last for years.-No tools required for assembly. All the frame components are permanently hinged and snap into place.-Screen material is quite heavy duty, should be durable for a long lifetime.-Any fold lines are quickly flattened out when screen is attached (via standard size snap buttons) to the heavy gauge box frame.-Frame is strong enough to be hung if you don’t want to use the legs.-High quality included nylon carry bag organizes frame elements. A separation flap keeps the screen bag from contacting the metal frame elements and a separate nylon sleeve is provided for the screen itself…all parts are protected from damage once secured in the factory carry bag.-Came factory packed in a strong outer box with nylon straps and tape, an inside a second strong cardboard box, then inside the carry case. You can see the care taken even in shipping prep to prevent damage to the product.Tips:-Snap the bottom row of screen buttons on to the frame first, then snap on the the top row. It’s easier to snap the tight top screen buttons on while standing and using gravity assist vs. crouching and pulling/stretching up to attach the bottom buttons on last.-Much easier to attach the screen to the frame when the screen is warm because it’s naturally tight fitting to remove creases/fold lines… so if it’s cold outside assemble frame and attach the screen indoors without the legs inserted, then walk the assembly outdoors and just slip on the legs (again no-tools required).Takeaway: If you’re looking for a high quality, durable, easy to use- projector screen… buy the Elite Screens Yard Master 2, you won’t regret it!

I put this up as soon as I received it yesterday. I wanted to make sure I wouldn’t have any wrinkles in the screen for the evenings viewing. My plan worked and the screen is wrinkle free.My mini projector arrived on the same day, so I was pretty excited to get right to the set up.I’m a middle aged woman and put the frame up on my own. I attempted to snap in the screen but needed assistance on the final snap.It was a cool day and the screen, as it should be, is very taught, hence needing a bit of muscle as there wasn’t a lot of give.Once “muscle” was recruited, it was a snap! (Pun intended)😜The quality of the screen and structure appear great. See pic of screen on my back deck from 20 feet away at night.I so pleased this came in time for the holidays. I can see myself enjoying a Florida winter, watching movies from my hot tub in the back yard.Highly recommend. So much fun!

Love this 120” screen. My deck has a roof over it and I enjoy sitting there when it rains. I decided to tweak the screen for my own situation, I wanted it to be higher and hang from my deck roof so I attached a chain to the top eyelets on the screen frame and hung it and used bungee cords at the bottom corners to my deck so it would be more stable if breezy. Might even hang it from my gutters to face my patio and watch scary movies from around the fire pit on autumn nights. The legs are a good alternative for a large crowd out on the lawn. It’s much more versatile to use either on the stand or to hang. It’s sturdy, not very heavy, I carried it myself from the lawn and hung up by myself, just a little cumbersome to do alone (woman in my 60s, but in good shape LOL). So easy to assemble, didn’t look at instructions. People complaining they could not get the fabric to stretch and snap… it does take some leverage but not hard, no problem doing by myself… maybe I’m just a tough old lady ha!! I expect this to hold up well! Love my movie nights!

It took me 15 minutes to put up by myself and 5 when my husband helped. It is so easy to put up and take down given the fact how large this screen is. I love that the carrying case has a separate cover for the screen to keep the metal bracing from scratching it, so you know it will last between putting up and taking down. Word to the wise – use the rope and stakes to stabilize if there is a breeze otherwise it will be more likely to take off like a glorified kite. Also, unless you’re staking into sand, you’ll probably want a rubber mallet or hammer to stake it down. There are snaps and sturdy tabs that have been sewn into the screen to help with installation/take down. Overall, “best unnecessary Amazon purchase” – direct husband quote.

Context: I was looking to rent a screen and projector for an outdoor birthday party. Quotes over $400, I figured I could buy enough of the components for that price, and that led me to this screen setup. The results were great. Frame was easy to assemble, light enough to carry and deal with on my own, and attach the screen (I am 6 ft tall though, someone shorter would not be able to do this on their own as easily). Anchors and everything you’ll need are there, and the carrying case is great. My only complaint and something I suggest you pay attention to when unboxing – the instructions for folding the screen to fit it back into the sleeve didn’t work for me. When I tried to fold it according to the instructions it was larger than the sleeve and the fold lines did not match what were already there. In hindsight I should have paid more attention to how it unfolded so I could repeat it back. But that’s a small nit, I’ve unfolded it a few times now and the creases haven’t caused any issues.

It’s exactly what I was hoping for. Light weight, easy to assemble! It has a few wrinkles, I haven’t bothered to use the hairdryer trick yet as they don’t show up hardly at all. But eventually I will, to make it perfect. I am very satisfied. Great for my lanai in FL. Won’t be damaged in summer heat and humidity when I am not there. It’s fabulous for winter snowbirding, providing a great entertainment venue. I have a short throw projector and the screen quality is great . With Covid we can entertain in the lanai outside at a distance with the fans and windows open. The outdoor screen is made for this! Friends are enjoying the ability to watch movies during these stressful pandemic times, in a safe environment outdoors. I drilled command broom handle grabbers to the lanai wall with aluminum screws; which secures the frame tightly to the side wall. In this position we only need the front leg support to keep it in place saving room. I bungycorded the back leg brace together so it was secured. Very versatile. I can move it around easily. But watch out for ceiling fans. I did break one of my blades not paying attention.

The media could not be loaded. Summary: Lightweight but very sturdy, folds up quickly and compactly, secures safely to the ground. Noticeable creases in the screen but not distracting.I’m in love! I bought a projector to show movies in my backyard and then fretted over what to do about a screen. I just assumed anything worthwhile would be too expensive and seriously considered putting something together with PVC pipe and a white tarp. What a mistake that would have been! The whole unit comes packed nicely in a carrying case for portability (think the size of a Pack n Play baby crib). Both legs unfold and slide into the main frame, which is cleverly folded in 4 places as to fit inside the carrying case. The screen itself snaps all along the frame, about every foot, which keeps the screen tightly stretched and adds to the sturdiness of the frame itself. The whole thing takes about 10 minutes to setup and 10-15 minutes to fold up and put away properly- though I leave the frame/screen intact between viewings and just remove the legs (which takes about 30 seconds and is much easier with two people).Once the frame is put together, it’s very lightweight and easy for one adult to move it around in open spaces. Closed-in spaces are a little tricker because the screen is so big. I have an unused space near the door to my backyard where I can keep the screen between viewings (with the legs detached), which is really useful. But if you have to go up/down stairs to store it or around many corners, you’ll probably have to have two people just to negotiate the angles.I had thought when I first bought the screen that I would need to set sandbags or something on the legs to keep it in place, but of course there’s an out-of-the-box solution for that. Stakes are provided to pound into little holes in the legs and keep the screen secured to the ground. These work great but make sure you have a hammer to do the pounding. There are additional measures involving twine but I never bothered with it and never had a problem.I’m also happy with the quality of the screen itself. Yes the screen arrives folded up and to fit into the carrying case it must be folded, not rolled. Once the screen is stretched across the frame, you’ll still see creases. Honestly even after having the screen attached to the frame for a few weeks I still saw the creases. However, they never distracted from whatever movie I was watching so this didn’t bother me at all. This screen is built for a very tight niche- backyard movie nights- and it’s perfect for that purpose. It wouldn’t really be appropriate for an indoor home theater arrangement but it’s very mobile and lightweight with great quality, making it just right for your backyard oasis.
