I started off with just the Soundbar 900, but the thing sounded so good I just couldn’t resist melting our credit card and getting the matching subwoofer and surround speakers, too. The complete set is quite expensive, but damn… it sure sounds good!

I needed to replace my old sound bar and wanted something that would sound great when I needed with Dolby atmos and also sound clear when just watching the news. This did the trick. Looks great and made with quality materials like glass and metal. I guess the only con is it was cumbersome to get it connected to Wi-Fi after being on Ethernet. So far so good!

I think they should put a light in the remote. Who watches Tv with the lights on? Every time we want to adjust the sound we have to use a mini flashlight to see the controls or grab a phone and use the app. The controller is black and the Letters are a soft white. See photo. We did not have much luck using Bluetooth with our new Samsung Smart TV so used a digital connection. It does pair with BT with our cell phones just fine though. All that being said. The sound bar itself is fabulous! It has this feature called Adaptiq that you set up and It makes it like you are in a theater with sounds coming at you from all sides and behind without additional speakers!!! It’s awesome and eerie at the same time. The sound quality is amazing too. We used to turn the old sound bar up to 28-30 to hear. We will never have to go above 10 on the Bose 900 if we want to keep our hearing. Would I recommend it? Yes! It’s pricey but even with the minor thing with the remote this sound bar has the best sound of any we have ever had.

do you know Bose should have put Dolby Atmos on their 700 series soundbar, which I bought, as soon as they came out with the 900 series I added that to my to subs and the 700 series surroundsound speakers, just crushin! The sound is super clear the bass is tight full and huge and the mid’s are extremely detailed without being obnoxious. I would put this setup against any audiophiles $25,000 system. These so called audiophiles pretend to hear things that aren’t even on the sonic landscape. I’ve met plenty of these types of people while selling pro audio to big named acts and have found that mist of them don’t even know what to listen for. Get yourself a Bose system you won’t believe the bass mids and treble working in concert together to create spatial landscapes the size of Montana! Now with Dolby Atmos up firing speakers giving the sound a huge lift as if your were in the center of a crossfire. Wow worth every penny but you do need to pair with at least 1 Bass Module, I bought 2 Bass modules and highly recommend doing just that along with the 700 series rear speakers and 500 series side fills. I think the whole system cost close to five grand. This will put you right in the middle of the music. I started with one bass module and the 700 sound bar, after getting the second bass module and the surround speakers I had reached critical mass. Loving every minute of it!

We own multiple Bose products in our home. They all produce superior quality sound and are simple to set up and operate. The SMART SOUNDBAR 900 is no different. It delivers crystal clear sound and connected easily to my Smart Samsung TV. I am able to enjoy movies again without having to read subtitles. We will be adding a Bose subwoofer for a more theatre like effect.

I tried to hook the sound bar up wireless first and that was complicated. I called the tech support and after over an hour on the phone with them trying to help me hook it up wireless I gave up and just used the HDMI cord and that was pretty simple. When using the sound bar for the TV I think the sound is sufficient but don’t see much difference in quality. But when I want to listen to music that is where I see the difference in this Bose sound bar. The quality is excellent when listening to music like Queen. I am happy with my purchase.

Our prior Samsung soundbar stopped working so we decided to upgrade to this Bose soundbar. This truly has been an upgrade. The sound quality is great, even without the additional bass component. The only issue we have experienced is that when one person is linked via Bluetooth another person cannot link until they disconnect the link. This is a minor issue in the larger scheme, which is that this is a high quality soundbar that is easy to set up.

I went to a store to check out the Bose Smart Soundbar 700 and was impressed with the look and of course the sound. The 700 was out of stock so I went on amazon and I found out the 900 was releasing on 9/23 and ordered it right away.Now that I have it, I can say without a doubt it was worth the price. The device looks sleek, it was easy to setup. There was an update that even with a fast internet connection, took 20-25 minutes (I have 1 GB Download speeds that are around 450 MB over wireless) and that was really my only hiccup.After the update and calibrating the room, the soundbar worked flawlessly. I saw a review that mentioned no youtube music but the soundbar supports bluetooth from your phone so you can just play youtube music that way but it supports the best music option which is Spotify so it shouldn’t be a deterrent.Now I just need to buy the sub :)

This sound bar meets our expectations and quality. We connected using the included HDMI cable to our HDMI ARC connection. We set it up using the app. When not using the phone app, we ended up logging out of the app because it caused an issue with our network quality. It’s not a problem because the sound bar works with our TV remote. We did not activate the voice control for Google nor Amazon.

I bought both the 900 smart sound bar and the bass module 700. I set them up yesterday and all I can say is wow. The sound is clean, the bass is definitely there. I had to tune the treble and the bass to around level 30 through the Bose music app because it was triggering my wife’s migraine. I have this hooked up down in the basement and I felt it when I was washing my hands in the bathroom upstairs on the third level of our home. This by far is the best woofer/soundbar combo I have ever used and own. Yes it is expensive but man am I glad I bought this. If you have the means to get the Soundbar 900 with the Bass Module 700, do it. It is an easy set up, and you won’t be disappointed
