Blue Buffalo Basics Limited Ingredient Formula Salmon and Potato recipe was recommended to me for my Labrador Retrievers by my veterinarian. Both of my dogs have allergic itching and my vet said limited ingredients and Salmon as the only source of protein is helpful to manage their condition. Plus my dogs love eating it and their coats are noticeably sleek and shiny. It’s worth it to improve their health and comfort. They are happy and energetic on their diets. Also vet recommended organic carrots as a replacement for dog treats. My dogs are loving life.

My dog has severe allergies and short of giving him prescription dog food, this blue buffalo meal is the best for him and he really loves it. It’s a bit expensive but he’s worth it.

We are always on the lookout for treats for our Corgi. Saw these and decided to give them a try.Receive the package, was easy to open, and easy to get a single treat out of the bag. I gave it to my pup and she went crazy like a fox for them. She liked them so much we used them for training treats. These worked fantastic, in fact so much so, I needed to train my son basic yard work and how to wash my truck so I thought why not, it worked for the dog, the kid isn’t that much smarter. He spit the first one out, but has grown to enjoy them. Next will be the spouse.

I couldn’t figure out what was wrong with my 9 month old AussieDoodle. His stool wasn’t consistently solid, he didn’t have a great appetite and he would throw occasionally. After realizing that he may have an allergy, I switched him over to Blue Basics Limited Salmon and Potato from Blue Chicken and Rice. It was like a miracle. All of his issues went away overnight and his stool was solid and healthy the next day! He also loves the flavor, gobbles it up quickly and looks forward to his meals which he never did with his other Blue Food. A great option for dogs with allergies and sensitive tummies!
Just me –
Not an easy task since almost all dog food seems to have at least some chicken ingredient. I was so grateful to finally find this Turkey dog food, which they both love.

This is the only dog food that doesn’t make my dog’s stomach gurgle. When I first adopted my Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, you could see the outline of each rib – she was thin and wouldn’t even eat treats because everything upset her stomach. I tried at least five other types of dog food. Now she is healthy in weight and no stomach gurgling! She’s been eating this brand for at least 3.5 years now. Total change in personality, too! She’s a happy and more confident dog.

Blue Buffalo is great dog food. I had been feeding my 10 year old dog just the regular grocery store dog foods like Purina and pedigree for years and noticed he started getting sick a lot. I took him to the vet and they couldn’t figure it out. It got to the point where one night I had to take him to the emergency vet hospital because he was so sick. Still no one could figure it out. I had a friend suggest switching to Blue Buffalo so I went and bought some and started feeding it to him. With in a matter of a few weeks he stopped getting sick and had a complete turn around in his activity level. I am convinced switching to Blue Buffalo saved his life. He’s now 13 years old and acts like a puppy a times. I would recommend this dog to every dog owner. Its gives my dog a great shiny coat and great levels of activity.

I purchased this product on the advice of my vet. My Shih Tzu Mia Belle developed very sever allergic symptoms and we tried everything from shots to medicine to help her. The vet told us to change her food she may be allergic to something in her food. Since we switch around 4 of our favorite kinds we knew it wasn’t any of them but once we switched to Blue Basics Salmon and Sweet potato it took two weeks and she was back to her old self! Her hair has since grown back in and the constant itching has stopped (thank God). And her smell is back to normal also.

Years ago one of our golden retrievers started having a lot of skin issues. Our groomer told us to find a food that had whole salmon. Not salmon meal. And we found this. After him eating it for a while his skin issues went away and has never come back! This food has been good with all of our goldens!

With my dogs being prone to cancer I searched for a good that would support their overall health. Blue Buffalo works well!I ran out and could not find the brand in local stores one and switched to another brand and my 2 dogs and 2 cats all got vey I’ll. It took a while to find someone who carried BB but as soon as I found it I put them back on it! Unfortunately, it was too late for my dogs; one died suddenly about 2 months later and was diagnosed with cancer (tumor on spleen ruptured) and when the other one was diagnosed with cancer I switched him over to BB Basics, graviola and hydrastis and it seems to have helped… he lived 3 more years before also succumbing to cancer.I stick with Blue Buffalo because I’ve had the greatest success with it in keeping my animals healthier and out of the vet’s office.
