The bad reviews had me skeptical but seems like all of these kits have them regardless of brand. I have a BIC sub in my other room and it’s been great the past 5 years so I took the chance on this. As you can see from my photos I have a rather nice sized theater space. I’m using this kit to run a secondary sub and so far the connection between the transmitter and receiver are solid. They are roughly 20ft apart. The sub is behind the couch to the left and the av receiver to up high to the right of the photo. The couch blocks direct line of sight but so far it’s causing no issues. There is no latency in the audio and the sub wakes up from Auto-off mode at the same time as my wired sub. Also, Wi-Fi seems to be unaffected. So I’m happy.

I am hearing impaired. When watching TV, in order to not blast the audio, and not wanting to run a cable all around the room for headphones, I’ve tried to use bluetooth transmit from the TV to another bluetooth receiver across the room. The problem is that I would hear the sound coming from the TV speakers, and a noticeable delay later the sound from the headphones. My wife is also watching, so I can’t turn off the TV’s speakers, so the result is unlistenable. I’ve tried several of the latest low-latency devices and found that “low latency” is not “no latency”. The delay is annoying and the result is that it’s impossible to understand what people are saying. So, I decided to give the BIC WTR-SYS units a try: Perfect. Absolutely no perceptable delay between the sound coming from the TV’s speakers and my headphones.

I cannot believe that I’m the first person to buy or review this item, but here goes.I bought this to eliminate the hard-wire running from my Denon receiver to my BIC F12 sub. Note: you don’t need a BIC to use this- it will work on anything with RCA jacks. I bought this (instead of the other “more reviewed” options) because I trust BIC and have had a great experience with them to date (I’ve had my F12 for years, and recently added the Acoustech PL-200 to my basement).Packaging: BIC clearly took notes from Apple. The product is packaged in very sturdy, very well suspended cardboard. Everything is very clearly labeled. If I had ONE complaint it would be that the top of the box fits too tightly…it was a chore getting it off.Accessories: BIC gives you every cable that you need to hook this up: a RCA “Y” cable (brings the single RCA subwoofer out on your receiver to dual RCA’s) for both sides and a 3.5mm/RCA pair for both sides. Also provided are enough adhesive velcro strips to suspend a VW Beetle, intended so you can hang it anywhere that works for you (I placed mine on the back of my subwoofer, out of sight).Setup: Stupid easy. Plugged it in, made sure they were both on the same channel, powered up. Both sides can run off USB power, which was nice: The transmitter is plugged into my Denon receiver for power. One less wall wort!Functionality: My sub is about 10 feet away from my receiver. There is zero lag (according to the Audyssey calibration on my Denon) introduced by adding this to the mix. Bass is clear and solid before. Auto On/Off on my sub functions properly. I’ve got my house covered by enterprise class wifi, and although the more reviewed brands had issues with wifi, I have not experienced any issues with the BIC.Summary: Don’t hesitate to buy this.

Using this to send audio across a large great room so that the tv volume is manageable while cooking. Works perfectly except for a random crackle that happens infrequently when the tv isn’t on. Would highly recommend.

I have limited space by my TV, and placing my wired subwoofer under the TV looked ridiculous. I have tons of space behind my couch and in the corner of my room, but my walls are pretty bare, so running a cable would’ve also looked ridiculous. With the price of $100 though, I figured I’d try the cheaper option on Amazon first, which was another brand named Nyrius, and the receivers/transmitters had large square antennas. When I tried that one, it almost had me second guessing the wireless option, since it worked so poorly. There was static and constant popping. So I returned that one and bought this BIC wireless setup, and I was blown away by the difference. This setup works flawlessly with no static at all, the sub sounds just like it was wired in, no noise at all. So I guess lesson learned, the extra money spent for this setup was worth it, since it works flawlessly, as advertised. As a side note, my wireless router (which has 2.4 and 5Ghz bands) is right next to the TV, and doesn’t hinder the BIC transmitter at all.

This product allowed me to put my powered subwoofer on the opposite side of the room (hidden behind furniture) from my receiver, without running wires. The product is super-simple to install, however I didn’t pay attention to the “transmitter” and “receiver” text on the front of the units, and ended up having them backwards, which obviously didn’t work. Customer service was great and within an hour a tech called me back and we figured out the issue. Really can’t say enough about how nice and helpful they were. The sound over the wireless transmitter is indistinguishable from when the subwoofer was hard-wired in.It’s a little pricey for what it does, but if you want something that works and comes with good support, I recommend this product.

I’ve used two others I bought on here, and this one has the best range without dropping out.

I have vaulted ceilings and no crawl space in my house so this was the only decent solution I found to connect my sub and rear speakers to my Onkyo surround sound system. I bought a $20 amplifier on amazon to power the rear speakers and everything sounds great.

I use this wireless system for my Yamaha Subwoofer and it is flawless. Absolutely perfect Wireless Speaker connection. This allows me to move my sub and optimize the position in the room without worrying about running an audio cable. Outstanding performance.

This is a great pair of wireless stereo transmitter and receiver. No lag, no static, no random noise. Totally plug and play. Comes with several cables including 1 mini-jack to RCA, 2 Y RCA splitters, and 2 RCA to RCA stereo cables. There are easy to use dip switches should you have interference, and even some Velcro to hide the units! Even the packaging was awesome and environmentally friendly. USB powered but comes with power adapters. I used in combination with a Yamaha rx-v383 receiver and a Klipsch Sub-8 II. NO CHANGE IN SOUND QUALITY OR VOLUME. Thanks BIC!
