Purchased Dec, 2017. After a couple of months the system was installed the fan started to make a weird noise and eventually failed. Called up the customer service but got no help as i was already out of warranty. So I replaced the fan, and the systems is back online again this was around August of 2018. Sept of 2019 we notice that it is shutting down by itself and then started back up again, it happens numerous times in a day. I checked the system for any sign of malfunction or burnt smell…. nothing. It works, but is restarting so many times in a day. I even went to format the hard drive thinking that because of a full hard-drive is the one causing the restart or crashing. Nope still the same, so i unplug the LAN connection and i noticed it stops rebooting.I contacted ZOSI techsupport because i can no longer login into the system, and I’ve got several emails with instructions what to do to no avail.I communicated back that the procedures they ask me to do was not working, i got another reply this time from DORIS with instruction to upgrade my system with provided links what to do and it finally works.

I recently got this set-up after attempting a cheaper IP wireless camera. For my needs, the IP camera was a wash and difficult to set up and use. I decided to bite the bullet and spend a little more for this system. I do not regret it one bit! The set up is relatively easy, although wires are almost always a pain. After testing the system, I installed 3 of the 4 cameras. The included cables are more than generous in length. Although the cameras are waterproof, the connections are not, so for the one camera that isn’t under the roof line, I did have to get some marine quality heat shrink wrap and a heat gun. All in all, once installed, the system is a breeze to set up. As it has a built in hard drive, it’s so much easier than getting a cheaper system that requires an additional hard drive. I like that I can see, playback, and even record segments from my phone. In addition, the included DVR is easy to use and maneuver through. This is the 1st security system I ever installed, and I now feel like an expert after doing this myself. I would absolutely recommend this system, and I’ve actually already convinced a few neighbors to get the same system. I have a feeling I will be helping a few neighbors with their installations, now.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve had these for several months and can honestly say they are one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. I feel like they keep my family safe without sacrificing our privacy (all your data is contained on a DVR instead of the cloud). We’ve caught a kid sugaring our neighbor’s gas tank, the neighbor girl sneaking out, and got to watch the baby raccoons playing on our trash cans.The shaking in the attached video is me recording on my phone- the actual camera/video is stationary. It will give you an idea of the night capabilities and watch to the very end to see the cutest raccoon!

I have bought this same set of cameras 3 times. The first two were purchased for a business over a year ago and all cameras are still in great working condition. I have a set of four inside the business and other 4 set outside. I have been so happy with these cameras, I decided to buy another set for the house. This time only 3 cameras of the 4 were in working conditions. It had only been installed for 60 days when another camera had stopped working all together. I was highly upset and disappointed at quality of this set of cameras. However, once customer service was involved, they were extremely helpful and sent two replacement cameras. They have been installed for a week. So far so good. I know if any issue arises, customer service will be able to help. I am a satisfied ongoing customer and planning on buying another set for my parents house. I love that I can view all locations from one device.

It has clearer picture than a lot of the same priced Systems. This is a 2.0 wereas others are only 1.5 which has much better image clarity, you can actually read car tags

Better than expected! Received it on 5-17-17 hooked it up and the clarity is more than I need. Also love the night vision , also very clear. Was Leary because of the price point but after reading a majority of the feed back I purchased it. Glad I did!

I am highly privacy driven both in public and in cyberspace. The system works great. The interface is pretty easy to use. Great 1080p picture. Great night vision. I went with hardwired cameras due to their lack of vulnerability to cyber threats. However, the DVR does have an ethernet connection and there is an app you can use to monitor the system. I will continue exploring the cyber vulnerabilities of this system to ensure it does not sell info or footage to a third party. The only gripe I have is that the motion detection is pretty touchy, even at the lowest sensitivity level. One bug flying in front of it and I’ll get a notice. I also noticed that if a car drives fast enough in front of my residence, I still get a motion detection notice even though I have removed that area from my camera’s detection grid. For the money, I can’t complain. Better than paying ADT $40/month to tell me my dog tripped the alarm. Be prepared for a hard day in the attic or crawl space to install, that’s the price you pay for hardwired systems.

Absolutely worth the money. I’ve had a different swann system and that hard drive fried after one singular storm… this system has gone through several power surges, storms, and a tornado. It’s still kicking. I was able to use those 4 swann cameras with this device for a total of 8, just waiting to find the perfect spot for the last camera. It’s perfect. Easy to set up and use. The app was also easy to set up. Downside is that every time the internet or power goes out you have to reconnect the system to the app, but it is what it is. Not a big deal. I did give the night vision a 4 star because I wish it was just a tad bit clearer. The app has a feature that you can take screen shots and videos of recordings. You can go back almost two weeks. The zoom is incredible. Overall, I’d recommend this to everyone.

Great quality and was easy to setup. Everything about this setup it great. I had no issues setting up and even reaching back to the NVR to review live streams of the cameras when I am away. A part of me wished I would have gotten the wireless versions even though these are more secure. I use my for outside and would love to add 4 wireless cameras to the setup for internal monitoring. The only downside is that I already have Blue Iris and internal cameras and they don’t talk with each other. Will have to look for the usb wireless adapter that is compatible and then add on the wireless camera so I only have one security system and software monitoring app.
