All functions of the stereo work great. Produces fantastic sound. Using this with 2 rock speakers around our pool and I could not be happier with the sound quality!

I needed a receiver for my turntable and for the price this receiver is worth it… nice and small, not bulky… doesn’t take up a lot of space… I connected the ERIS 4.5 speakers to them [via banana plugs] and the sound is amazing for home use… as a bonus the receiver comes with Bluetooth and USB so I’m able to connect my other devices to it for additional music…Great mini BT receiver with a punch and great price… this replaced my Sony receiver and I did not want to spend a lot of money on a new receiver just for BT and phono option… definitely recommend…

Bought this great amp to use as a pre-amp for my turntable. It works great as that but it also has all the inputs you may want. I can now play all my music collection in all media formats including MP3 on USB stick and SD card. I can also stream my music via bluetooth and play my XM radio via the Aux input. Connected the output to my SONOS Connect and now I can play any format throughout my house using my SONOS system. This is a very versatile amp.I wish it had In and Out RCA to connect a vintage cassette player. Also wish the control knobs were marked in white so you could tell where they are pointing.Overall a great value.

Just got it today. So far so good. Sounds good on my old speakers. Looking forward to getting and hooking up new speakers and a turntable.

There are a lot of options out there, but if you want an amplifier that can do it all, the Pyle PDA9HBU.5 is the best choice and it even comes with an easy to use remote and an easy to follow guide and it comes with a one year warranty. It offers of all the best options that you could ever need, If you want premium quality sound and like to raise the music and dance when no one is around? Then this amp is the best choice, it’s not always true that you get what you pay for, because this Pyle Amp is a great deal.

I was looking for a inexpensive amp that would play MP3s off of an SD card. This amp works very well for that. The sound is pretty good for a small room – not a substitute for a full sized room amp.Controls could be better – a bit confusing. The remote doesn’t have some things I would like – like folder selection (this is a knob on the unit) – with a lot of folders this is a minus. Also the auto tune for that radio instead of a way to tune stations directly is a minus. On the plus side – the price is right – it works well with bookshelf type speakers and the sound – tome – is fine. You will need to read the manual to figure out how to use some of the features thay are not obvious.

OK, first a mea culpa: I sent in a question about this product a few days ago asking if there was any way to make the LCD screen more legible. The company responded in less than 24 hours offering to fix the “problem.” But no need. Apparently, there is some kind of burn-in period for the screen, because after 4-6 hours of operation, it is now perfectly legible, even from across the room.As for the unit itself, it has really impressed me. I’m in my early 70s now, and I have purchased at least a dozen stereo amplifiers over the years, but given the low prices of Pyle stereo equipment, I never bought one of the company’s amps, just assuming it was cheap junk. My assumption was wrong. This little amp is a marvel. I bought it to use as a preamp because this is for an outdoor stereo that is kept in a water-tight acrylic case inside a gazebo. Despite the case, I have gone through several stereo components over the last two years and decided it was a waste of money to keep buying expensive components. So, I gave in and spent $116 (instead of a minimum $300-$400) on the Pyle PDA9HBU.5. I’m glad I did. The thing is built like a tank — solid and substantial (heavy) with incredibly quiet electronics, and rich, powerful sound. Keep in mind that I am not using the power amplifier portion of the device, just the preamp, so I can’t vouch for it’s stand-alone sound, but sending its signals through a Sony stereo amp produces wonderful audio, as good as any combination of consumer components (as opposed to audiophile components) I have used. It is feature-rich, offering both SD card and USB (flash drive) inputs. I record any music I want to play outdoors on micro SD cards, so I was worried about the quality of those readers. In fact, they (and the entire user interface) are solidly designed and built, and they are rich with features. The unit can only play MP3 or WAV files, but since those are the only compressions I use, the SD/USB is perfect for me, with five different kinds of repeat (including random). The unit is also capable of finding and playing music in folders and subfolders. I also found the FM receiver and Bluetooth radio to be first rate electronics. My only caveat is that this unit is still new, and I have no idea how dependable it will prove to be over time. But my first impression is that it’s simply one of the best bargains I have ever found in audio electronics.
