Bought this for my horse who has always been clipper-shy. I have never been able to get remotely close to his ears but after using these, I was able to not only get close to his ears (baby steps) but without holding him! I did however shave his muzzle which is now beautiful. I also let a friend at the barn use it on her horse’s ears and bridle path, clipped through it like cutting soft butter. Wonderful product. Doesn’t get hot and is so so easy to use!I love not having to be right next to an outlet.

I was torn between the Bravura and this one. I decided on this one because I liked how the on and off switch was located. I love these clippers and so glad I made the decision to go ahead and get them. Thank you Wahl–you are the best. I am a pro groomer and these are so much better than the corded ones.

We have 3 poodles, two standard and one toy, and this tool is wonderful. I have purchased many clippers and some get really hot or it’s a hassle with the cord. This doesn’t overheat and I corner my dogs when they are outside to clean up paws or do a full groom. Best clippers out of a dozen we have purchased.

Absolutely love it!!! You can plug it in and still use it (so no more alternating batteries and trying to keep one charged when the first runs out of charge). Quiet and small, easy to see when the charge is running low. I would absolutely recommend this for any groomer (whether professional or just at home grooming). Although it is mostly designed for smaller, harder to reach areas, I have groomed entire shave-down dogs with it. Adjustable blade is durable and easy to use and clean. It IS a bit more delicate than other cordless models, but not significantly so and all the pros more than make up for this.

I just bought my 3rd Chromado. I have 7 poodles I have one clipper that needs a completely new battery. ( It’s 10 yrs. old) My second clipper works great and I decided I needed a spare set. One caution, don’t drop the charging cord or they will stop working. I love that I can groom an entire dog with one set of clippers. I use the 40 for feet, face and tail and the 9 blade for the body. This clipper feels so good in my hand that I can use it in ways you would use scissors. ( I have been grooming for 45 years, so be careful if you’re new to this.) I have used many 5 in 1 blades and it takes hours for them to get hot which is such a blessing after using the older clippers. I used to go through a lot of blade cool before I started using the Chromado. Now I use blade cool once in a while to clean hair out of the blade, but I really don’t have to worry about a hot blade burning my babies. And no you can’t drop any clipper on the floor without breaking them. Put a rug down under the grooming table, or a rubber pad. Some times the clipper housing can be replaced, but most of the time dropping them on a bare floor means buying a new clipper. Just assume they will get kicked, knocked or will roll off the table and put down something to soften the fall!

My mom has two toy poodles and she has struggled cutting their fur because she hasn’t found the clipper that works. She’s tried many different clippers and finally decided to try something a little more “expensive.” Obviously that was probably the problem, but this did the trick. My mom’s hands can only handle so much weight and she has been able to use these clippers without a problem. It cuts well and she feels comfortable using it – so much so that she no longer feels like it’s a chore and an annoyance anymore.

I needed a new cordless clipper because my old one was dying. I compared this one and the bravura. Both are very similar in specs. I chose this one and I am extremely happy that I did. I had the old style bravura and had a problem with that blade always popping off. Have not had that problem with this clipper. It is just as quiet as the bravura and just as powerful.

Figured I’d trim my own labradoodle instead of paying $100 every 6 weeks. This do the trick. Easily adjustable, sharp, cordless, light, not too loud. If you’re going to get a pair, get these.

I primarily use these clippers at work on 5 plus dogs 5 days a week. I love them. They are light enough that my hand does not get tired. They do get dropped occasionally but they are pretty durable. They are powerful enough to shave down a small to medium sized dog. They work perfectly with the Wahl clip on combs for every haircut. They are quiet enough to be tolerated by all dogs including puppies. They hold their charge well. Because I use them so much I have two so one is always charging. As they get older they don’t hold the charge as well. Overall I love these clippers!

I am very happy with the Wahl’s Chromado cordless clipper! I did a lot of research and after reading other reviews, I purchased these clippers. I started using the clippers on my 6 month old puppy. The clippers do hold a charge for a long time. I am learning how to clip my Cocker Spaniel and these clippers are very easy to use. They are lightweight and comfortable to hold. I did buy Wahl’s clipper blade attachments instead of using the ones included because of reviews suggesting their purchase and am happy with them also.I have found the head does get warm after continuous use, but I set them aside for a few minutes and the head is cooled off and ready to use again.
