   This stuff is awesome! We keep getting a resurgence of fleas from our neighbors and have three pets (dog and two cats) in our apartment. We aren’t able to leave for an adequate time that would be safe for all of us and our unborn baby to be able to use a bomb. So, I saw this and ordered it. It’s natural, which I love, and it smells like orange peels and cloves (uh YUM!). Sprayed the carpets and furniture with it, and then our pets. Literally watched the fleas jump away from our fur babies’ bodies as I sprayed them down. The bottle is really big and will probably be good to use multiple times with our fur beasts and our 1100 sq ft apartment. I will update this in about a week to determine if this is a long term solution.

   I really hate using chemical flea treatments on my dogs, so I purchased the entire line of TropiClean flea products after a friend told me about them. I use the shampoo, conditioner and the flea spray, and it works!! I bathe my dogs every two weeks or so and then maintain the flea control between baths with the flea spray. It smells wonderful, and really does the trick keeping fleas away. I live in Florida, so fleas, especially in the summer, are a terrible problem here. Even at the beach, there are sand fleas – there’s just no getting away from them. I really like the TropiClean products and don’t have to worry about putting too many chemicals on/in my dogs to keep them healthy.

   I’ve used various products from this brand ever since I got my first dog in 2009. Now I have three, and live in an area where fleas are an issue, so I got a bottle of this. Make sure you read the directions! I forget every time. You’re supposed to shake it into a foam, cover the dog, and let the product sit according to the directions. I have a tiny white short-hair dachshund/chihuahua mix, who rarely gets fleas (I joke it’s because she’s too mean), so when I gave her a bath, I could see the bugs kind of running around on her, trying to find a place to hide. I wasn’t happy that another dog gave mine fleas, but at least I had a solution. This stuff works. It doesn’t smell terrible, unless you dislike the scent of citrus and clove oil, which it contains if I remember correctly. The bottle states to re-apply after about a month (I think?), but if your dog is a spoiled indoor brat like mine, you could probably stretch that out a little. I would still use a flea & tick preventive treatment too, however this is a great product if your dog has fleas and you need to get rid of them, without reeking of insecticide. It does the job. I can’t recommend it more. I’ve bought two bottles at the time of writing this.

   This shampoo works well for our dogs, a 2 yo Terrier mix and a 13 yo mini wiener long hair. We are quite choosy about what we use for the 13 yo as he gets dry skin very easily and he’s, well, old. It is also not heavy on fragrance which is great for me as I have allergies to almost all fragrances. It has no added fragrance, just what occurs naturally in the nice oils in the shampoo. Great product that works very well without nasty flea killing chemicals, it does the job with the several flea repelling natural oils.

   This works GREAT!!! I have 3 dogs. A Shar pei/German Shepherd mis, a Husky/boarder collie mix and a Chihuahua. I used it on my GSD mix and Chihuahua. My GSD mix is smelly because of the Shar pei in her. Shar pei’s produce more oil than other breeds and are characteristically more smelly than other breeds. This shampoo worked wonderfully to get rid of the smell and extra oils. Also it killed any fleas upon contact with no problem. No waiting for 10 minutes crap. My Chihuahua had a couple fleas and they also were DEAD right away. Haven’t used on my Husky mix yet. She just had a bath recently and her breed doesn’t have much if any odor. I will use it next time she gets a bath. Very happy with this product!!

   I used this on our Chihuahua. So many dead fleas washed off him as I was bathing him. You have to scrub them real good and do not rinse it right away. And remember, this will only kill the fleas that are on your dog. You have to take other steps to kill the fleas and their eggs around the house or else they will just keep breeding and get all over your dog again. Wash bedding in hot water, vacuum carpets and rugs, spray what you can’t wash with a natural flea killer spray, use the flea drops or keep bathing with this shampoo regularly until the fleas are all gone.

   We discovered my pup has fleas, after spraying our yard, cleaning the inside of the house we could not get ride of the fleas. Not wanting to use major insecticides we tried this and wow does it work. After putting this on one of my dogs and lathering it up I could actually see dead fleas in the shower. I am really impressed and will continue to use this. I highly recommend using this vs any chemical.

   My mom kept saying that Maple would not stop scratching herself. I don’t know why we did not suspect that it was fleas… nothing was jumping out of her and could not tell with her normal baths that she had anything. She’s never been prone to them either. Then I showered her again and decided to look much closer, and lo and behold, there they were! I felt terrible… so much time that she suffered scratching non-stop. This shampoo was the one that seemed the most natural and effective as per the Amazon reviews. I bathed her last night (I did not know I had to dilute, oops) and you could see the fleas crawling out of her hair, trying to find a place to hide. Poor Maple had her skin a little bloody either from the bloodsucking fleas or all that scratching. Not all fleas came out but she had been lathered up for a while and it was time to get her out. Omg… Maple slept ALL night and morning without scratching herself not ONCE! I am so thankful and almost want to cry of happiness. Poor baby!! I ordered some other products (some very pricey chewable treats to deter fleas-another brand, spray for carpet, etc.) but just realized there’s a conditioner of this same brand!! I am sticking to this brand for anything doggy related. I’m convinced and it hasn’t even been a full day. Thank you!! 🐶

   Edit: I still stand by my original review that this stuff works, it does kill the fleas, but it does not prevent the eggs from hatching and provides no protection, it just kills current fleas for easy removal.This product definitely works. I watched fleas climb to my chihuahua’s head to get away from this stuff! Also had a live flea in my hand and I poured some of this shampoo on top of it and it died instantly. Definitely leave it on the dog for 7 minutes to get the full effect, you will see dead fleas falling off the dog when rinsed. I was very pleased with the result. Lathers well and doesn’t have an awful smell. My husband said it smells like cloves. Leaves the dogs feeling nice and soft. Would recommend!

    A must buy for anyone that lives by the woods, walks their dogs in the woods or likes to take their dogs camping. The smell is strong but in a good way. I think that’s the point. I like the smell. It’s supposed to last. My dogs fur was so soft and shiny after using this!!! They smelled so good. I will definitely buy this again. I also bought the spray to use around the camping area they are in. It also kept the mosquitoes and flies off them the whole 10 day trip!
