TracFone helped me transfer my existing phone and phone number away from Mint Mobile to TracFone even though an employee at Mint Mobile attempted to sabotage my move away from their company by giving me wrong account numbers and locking up my phone number for 24 hours. TracFone went above and beyond to make sure my number got transferred the moment the lockout expired so that I could cancel my Mint Mobile service just a few hours inside the 7 day “full refund” trial period. Additionally, since switching to TracFone a month ago, I haven’t had a single call drop, or a single time where the person I was talking to couldn’t hear me! This had been a regular occurrence with Republic Wireless after I moved to an apartment in a newly developed area a little outside of town. When I tried switching to Mint Mobile, the service was even worse…to the point where I was never sure I’d be able to complete any phonecall, or if my texts would go through. But everything is working great since I switched to TracFone! My call quality is wonderful (no more robotic audio) and even my texts with screenshots go through immediately. I am so happy I switched to TracFone! Since I work from home now and am always in Wi-Fi, I only need 1gb of data a month, so I’m able to get unlimited talk and text plus 1gb of data for only $22 a month incl taxes. Since the service is working well for me, I plan to get the year prepaid plan which will only be $199…so even with taxes, I’ll be under $20 a month. I’m so happy I switched to TracFone…and this little sim kit only cost $1, and saved me having to buy a new phone!

This is exactly what I needed to activate my unlocked iPhone 5. I used the ATT SIM card, but it also Included a Verizon one. Instructions were easy to follow. It even included an after hours phone number for tech support. And yes, you can keep your old number and minutes if you know the SIM number.

Tracfone must be contacted to find out which of the three included SIM cards to use. as for installing it, You might need a bit of help om what “tray” opens to hold our card. Youtube can be a good helper on this. To install the card, you will have to choose the correct sized one- Standard, Micro or Nano. Be very careful as the correct card will fit only ONE WAY! There is a ‘notched’ corner on the cards. It must fit PERFECTLY (don’t get confused on which side go where – there is only one exact place. TAKE YOUR TIME!

It was time for me to upgrade my phone, and of course I wanted to keep my same number. I purchased this sim card set to make the process easier for me—and to keep me from having to go into a store. The card itself had instructions that were easy to understand. The only issue I had was it took me a day to get the phone number transferred. Was not the fault of the sim card. It was the fact that with the pandemic the customer service lines were really backed up, and I couldn’t get someone who could help me with the setup for the new phone. After finally getting to a rep they were able to successfully transfer my phone balance to the new phone, and all was right from there.Again the sim card itself works as it should, just a word of caution to have some patience when calling to finish the set-up. It might take longer than expected.

This solved my Tracfone problem. My account got messed up when I move my sim card to a new phone. I could make calls with existing service/credits, but any new purchases (data) would not show up on the phone. I called Tracfone several times, and they could not fix it. They kept trying the same fix that never worked. Extremely frustrating. I decided I needed to start fresh, so I bought a new sim, and had them reactivate everything with that. Worked like a charm. All the previously purchased data showed up, even stuff I had given up on.The kit includes SIMs for AT&T, Verizon, and T-mobile. It DOES NOT include a pin tool for ejecting the Sim carrier from your phone.Note: I may have had this problem anyhow, but if your phone breaks, don’t just physically move the sim to a new phone (like I did). Call them and have them move the account/sim to the new phone’s IMEI number first. Even though I ultimately did this, I think it was too late, and the problem was already created.

I am qualified for SafeLink and it partners with TracFone. When SafeLink sent the wrong sim I was given several options how to purchase the right one. I was thankful Amazon had the universal one! Life saver ! Arrived the next day ! All was seamless , except for customer service through Tracfone when setting up the new sim. It took 6 calls from 9am to 3:30pm when it was finally set up correctly. Each representative was told me something different when trying to just install the sim and the minutes/data plan. If I hadn’t had a phone to borrow to set it up I don’t know how I would have done it. The plan and money is a great value but the customer service was very frustrating when you are relying on one phone. I rarely have complaints but this particular experience was stressful and should not have taken that long in my opinion. I would definitely suggest the all in one kit over the single sim just in case.

Great product! I decided after being a Tracfone customer for several years that I would like to buy an unlocked phone and activate it with Tracfone’s BYOP program. I used the included Verizon simcard in an LG Stylo 4 that I purchased here on Amazon for $160 during Prime Days. I activated the phone online and the process couldn’t have gone more smoothly. My phone number and ALL my minutes, etc., transferred within a few seconds. I would definitely recommend this product.

Easy to use, works great. Tracfone finally came through on gift card after requesting help. Thanks TF!

I needed a smaller SIM for a new phone otherwise I would of just transferred it to the new phone since unlocked phones don’t marry the SIM. Works great and great price. All my time and data transferred over no problem. Then they sent me a text a few days after I activated it and followed the link to there sight were I entered the code and then I got an email with a $25 Amazon gift card. What a deal $1 dollar for the SIM and they send me a $25 Amazon gift card code!

I ordered the Tracfone sim kit for a BLU G9 phone. The sim kit includes three different sims: one for ATT/Cricket/GSM compatible phones, one for TMobile/GSM compatible phones, and one for Verizon/LTE compatible phones. I inserted the sim for the ATT/Cricket/GSM compatible phones into my BLU G9. I went to TFBYOP.com and logged into my account, added a new device by entering the sim card number (printed on the sim holder in the kit) and then activated it. A message appeared indicating that my activation was in progress and that it could take up to two business days. Within 20 minutes, I got a text message on my new BLU G9 phone from Tracfone and I was good to go. My phone number and minutes balance was transferred to my new phone and I was up and running. I did not have to call tech support. Simple and straight forward installation and activation.
