   Update: Had this on for two months. No break ins, no theft, nothing. With the Rams (like most newer vehicles), you have to press the brake pedal to put it in gear, only AFTER you start the vehicle. We have tried and there is NO WAY to press the brake pedal with these installed. Our trucks are not getting stolen. We also have other anti-theft devices, but not visible. :) This purchase is very worth your piece of mind!We have Dodge Ram’s – 2010 TRX4 and 2017 Rebel. Picture is from the Rebel. We bought one for each and they fit perfectly. ONLY thing I am going to have to adjust is to put a small piece of material where it is up against the under-dash. We don’t want any scratches in the under-dash.Easy to install, (make sure tilt steering is all the way down first) and super easy to remove.

   I purchased this item to protect my new Yamaha Golf Care. I crank the steering wheel all the way to the right (clockwise) and then attach this item between the steering wheel and frame. In this configuration the steering wheel is immobilized and the Golf Car will only roll in a circle in tow mode.

   This brake lock is one of the best I’ve run across! Easy to use, comes with 3 keys, and locks by itself with no key upon appliction. You can either use one hook on your brake pedal up to your steering wheel or use both hooks directly across your steering wheel. The package came to me very well packed in a cardboard box with styrofoam. The manufacturer as well as the police say that this kind of high grade 3 pc. metal would take 45 minutes to cut through, and most car burgerlers like to be gone in 5 minutes! The other great features about this product is that it can also be used to break car glass if you accidentally leave your keys inside or a pet, and in the worse case scenario, it can be a self-defense weapon. Included is a customer service card if you ever have any questions of help as well. They thought of everything with this one! Be safe, not sorry! This is a great tool to keep your vehicle grounded.

   Well, it certainly works. Just a word of advice: make sure you pay attention to which side the key side of the lock is facing. Seriously, trust me—I almost got my new car stuck overnight in a different state (my key fob was blocked from accessing the keyhole by the car’s interior). Before you tighten the lock (shorten it), make sure that the key of the lock can even access the lock.Now, if you happen to be a fool who makes the same mistake as I did and have a key ignition and manual steering wheel adjuster (no fancy stuff), you might be able to unlock your car for free. Turn your car key so that the steering wheel can turn the wheels and have someone hold the steering wheel such that the wheels are turned (the direction will depend on which side your antitheft lock keyhole is facing). While they do this, take hold of the lock and try to wiggle it to the point where you can slide the key fob into the lock. If this works, congrats! If this doesn’t, I’m sorry for the expenses you’re about to incur.

   this is a great brake pedal to steering wheel lock. the range that it locks down is perfect. i had another one that wouldnt get tight enough and would pivot clockwise and counter clockwise. this one does not.IT IS EASY TO GET ON AND TAKE OFF, unlike other anti theft tools.it’s very solid and can be used as a weapon, also.the only thing i would improve would be an alert light so people can see it better.i use this usb rechargable one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NS2WTS7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1it would be good if it were to lock entirely on the pedal because this lock is defeatable by sawing the steering wheel

   If you are in the market for a Universal Steering Wheel Lock IMO it doesn’t get much better than this one! I’ve bought a couple in the past that when you apply enough force it will break and come loose, NOT this one though!! It has a solid build and looks nice too! I probably don’t have to tell you this if you are in one of these “defund the police” areas but with the push for this car jackings are on the rise. In some areas it’s being reported to be up over 500%. I am not in one of those areas (yet) but it’s a solid way to protect yourself if you are. No one likes to think it can happen to them but with the way 2020 has been it’s better to plan for the worst and hope for the best.

   For an additional security easy add-on for your vehicle I highly recommend this steering wheel lock bar.We travel a lot in my wife’s Subaru Outback or my Ford Ranger and sometimes we would feel more comfortable with an additional way to secure our vehicle.I thought I’d give this a try and it’s exactly what I was looking for. Easy to put on and remove. I can use it in either vehicle and it’s small enough it fits under my seat.As a machinist I found this to be well made and also the kind of lock it uses can not be picked.The hook at steering wheel end will easily fit any steering wheel plus has padding inside the hook to protect your steering wheel. They even give you an extra strip of stick on padding to replace the padding.The bar completely collapsed is 14″ overall. When fully extended from the edge of hook to edge of hook is 26-1/4″. Basically if you were trying to get it over brake pedal and steering wheel at same time your maximum would be 26-1/4″. If you hook one end first you could reach a few inches more.The bar also came with 3 keys.The pictures show it installed in the Subaru Outback and a Ford Ranger. It was easy to install and remove quickly. I tried installing from both outside car and also after I was in the car and had no issues either way.It’s easy to just extend the bar down and hook the pedal arm.I highly recommend this for an easy economical way to secure your vehicle.👍👍👍👍👍

   This seems very well made and sturdy. Please note that if you have a manual steering wheel adjustment lever that can be actuated without power, you will need to push your steering wheel into the dash before using the bar. (If the steering wheel can be pushed toward the dash without power, the bar can be easily unhooked without the key.) Car thefts in my area have doubled in the past year, so this is a great way to frustrate potential thieves.

    This product is absolutely as described. It is a solid investment and is easy to use. My only comment would be to check your brake pedal before you buy. This is made for a narrow metal bracket and my car has a wide bar that comes down to the brake pedal so this device will not fit on it at all. I have another vehicle I can use it for, so it’s not a waste, just want people to be aware. It will not fit my 2015 Jeep Renegade. I have attached a picture to show what it will NOT fit. The hook at the end is just too narrow to go around anything wider than a 1/2 inch.
