I have been using a dewalt 35ft tape measure, but I need something smaller and less bulky. So far I really like this tape measure for a few key reasons. Standout is great, I was able to get about 10ft. The locking mechanism also works very well . The tape is very easy to read and the measurements are printed on both sides of the tape. It also moves in and out very smoothly. Hopefully I don’t lose this one, but if I do I’ll buy it again. The only issue was the belt clip was bent while removing the tape measure from the packaging. I was able to remove it and bend it back into shape. Would be nice if it was a bit sturdier. Overall this is great value for money

Nice and Compact! Great for those of us with smaller hands perhaps, who don’t want to carry around a clunkier, heavier, larger than your head version most “handy”men like to use. The GREAT part is that my husband who always seems to run off with my tools (never to be seen again) hasn’t yet stolen this. I guess manly-men prefer the “SUPER TESTOSTERONE BOOSTER FOR MEN!” monster measuring tape, so.. Great news 👍🏻 for those of us who struggle *daily* with our spouses to keep our quality stuff where we last left it.. Wish this came in pink as a further deterrent 😉.

The only tape measure that you’ll need! All my others have officially been shelved. As someone who (despite being a wood worker for over a decade) still has to count the marks on a tape measure, I appreciate that the marks are labeled. As we used to say in the Marines, they broke it down Barney style.The double hook at the end is incredibly helpful and the vertical numbers on the back make it easy to read when measuring vertically.The tape measure if we’ll built and sturdy. The tape can even be extended unsupported well beyond what my other ones can before it bends.I believe the company is veteran owned and operated. 3% of every purchase goes to supporting different veteran and first responder groups. Choosing Spec Ops tools also supports great causes which is awesome!I will definitely be upgrading my tools to Spec Ops in the near future!As a woodworker, I would like to see them add some drill, impact, and router bits as well as clamps, saws, and saw blades to their product line. Maybe some bench cookies??Long story short, you won’t regret going with Spec Ops!

This is a tough, well-build tape measure. It’s taken three falls from 20+ feet and survived without a scratch.That toughness translates to a return spring that will take your finger off if you’re not careful. Just make sure your fingers are completely clear before releasing the tape stop! I didn’t … once.

Excellent!Wide solid tape, white bold markings easy to read in low light. Fractions labeled on top side only,Strong retraction spring. Very good tip to hold. Easily stands 10 ft. Unsupported. A little smaller than other 25’tapes and fits in pouch. A bit heavy, brown/black a bit ugly. Belt clip same as dewalt tapes,pretty good. Very good product from a small company that is easy to support! Once I received my first one off amazon, I immediately bought one for everyone on the team. Solid tape for 15$ 5 stars!

I purchased this as I wanted a tape measure that didn’t fall over when measuring upwards. This one seems to be a lot better in that area. I like the fact that it reads on both sides of the tape. Holding power is satisfactory. I very pleased with this tape measure and will buy again. It never seems like you have enough tape measurer’s.

I’ve been looking for a tape measure to add to the few that I have. My criteria were: a wide blade, good visibility of markings, 1/8th a must, double-sided, sturdy blade coating but flexible. Having magnets on the hook wasn’t critical.My favorite one so far has been a magnetic 16′ Milwaukee with an underside finger retraction control. But when you’re doing a lot of measuring, cutting, measuring, cutting, etc., doing mental gymnastics of which 1/8th you’re looking at gets annoying. I’ve cut wrong several times with perfect confidence that I had my measurements right.The Spec Ops tape measure hits all my check boxes! A very solid build, good retraction, although I don’t use the button to lock — I still use the index finder to pinch the blade. Muscle memory from Milwaukee.The standout is excellent. Guys, you are being humble! The packaging says 10′. I get a consistent 12′ every time.Excellent visibility of the marking. I like that the belt clip is not stiff. Clips to my leather belt nice and easy when I’m not wearing my work belt with pouches.The hook is pretty huge on both sides. I don’t miss the magnets — the darn things get in the way at times.I can’t speak to the overall durability as I have had this tape measure for only a few days and put though a home improvement project, but it has become my favorite. Love it!Happy to support an American business run by veterans! Thank you for your service.

Tired of tape measures that I can’t pull out more than a few feet before they collapse. This one does as promised, and stretches out the 10 feet. It does start to bend a bit but holds up. Easy to read measurements with the extra feature of having the measurements on both sides of the tape. Locking measurement works very well.

This tape is everything they say it is. It really does stand out for at least 9 feet.The only thing this tape doesn’t have is a magnetic tip.I mean seriously this is a bad a$$ tape measure. The numbers and marks are clear and big. Making them easy to read.I like the white tape instead of the yellow of most tape measures.Both sides of the tape are marked in feet and inches. I like that way better than those tapes that have centimeters on one side and inches on the other
