I purchased these scrubbers for the sole purpose of cleaning vegetables. For years I’ve been using brillo type pads from Dollar Tree. As long as these scrubbers are available I won’t be purchasing the brillo type pads. These scrubbers easily remove dirt from vegetables. They also allow me to remove the skin from root vegetables so I no longer need to peel them. They don’t wear out in spots, or leave strands behind like the brillo type pads. They’re a perfect fit for the palm of my hand so there’s no strain on my fingers. I highly recommend these scrubbers for cleaning vegetables.

This type of scouring pad is what I am used to and really like. It doesn’t smell like a sponge can and it gets pans, plates, etc. clean with very little effort. Because it is nylon it does not scratch the pots and pans and is very easy to use. This type of pad lasts a long time and we use it almost every day. We just leave it in the sink or on the side of the sink because we use it so often.

This is very good quality plastic scrubbers. I was having trouble finding good plastic scrubbers for my non stick pans. Other scrubbers fall apart quickly. I thought I would need a bag of them of at leas three for one month. But no, actually these last a long time and are great in hot water. They do not scratch my non-stick pans and leave them looking like new. Works great with a little hot water, vinegar and baking soda. After ward, I use dawn to get any left over grease on the sides of the pans. Fantastic and I am so pleased I found these.

I was amazed at how much better these are than those I have purchased in the supermarket. These were probably always available, I just never paid attention. I got a 3 pack and will probably not ever need all 3! They are great, strong, heavier material than I’ve gotten in the past and are super gentle on my best cookware! Highly recommend!

Needed these as filtration for my turtle canister filter and I couldn’t find these anywhere in stores. The “newer” types in stores have a sponge core, which isn’t what I wanted. These do NOT have a sponge core, and are exactly what I hoped for! They work perfect! Also, as far as I can see, they have not been pre-treated with soap or any other chemical or residue (which would be toxic to my turtles). Thumbs up!

So many people review this for dishes & pots, but I needed something to scrub hardened, aged grime from the base of my white fiberglass bath tub – and this plastic “steel wool” pad worked great! Sharp enough edges to cut through the dirt I couldn’t remove via other methods, but since it’s only plastic, it doesn’t damage the surface of my tub (even when I put my muscle into the scrubbing/scraping). If your fiberglass bath tub has stains or grime that’s tough to remove, just buy these Scotch-Brite scrub pads and use them with Comet or Ajax, works like a charm. AND you get 3 in each pack, as if it wasn’t inexpensive enough :D These will last me a long time I think.

I use these before using either SOS pads or the scotchbrite green/yellow sponges. I soak dirty pans and if you use an SOS pad or the scotchbrite pad, they get clogged with the old food. These pads have an open enough weave that you can scrape the old food goop from your pan and then be able to easily rinse these pads out. I used to use this technique with a VERY old Tuffy pad that I found in the back of the sink cabinet. You can’t find Tuffy pads anymore, but these work the same. I am happy with the purchase.

These are very hard to find locally for some reason so I am glad Amazon has them. These are midway between a sponge and a steel wool pad in cleaning power. I have yet to find a pot with cooked on residue that they will not clean. You may have to put a little elbow grease in a really bad pot, but mostly these do excellent work. And they won’t scratch your nonstick coating.

These scrub gently – (best to soak your dishes or pans in water first, though) – without the worry of scratching any delicate surfaces. They don’t rough up your hands either & any food particulate rinses right out EASILY so you don’t have to worry about all that bacteria buildup in (other) scrubbers & sponges I’ve used. They last a long time too. Great bargain! I won’t use any other brand now that I’ve found THESE!

We like these. They don’t hold odor like regular sponges, and they do a great job for cleaning the dishes, pots and pans.If you’re looking for a substitute for a regular sponge for cleaning things like countertops, this isn’t it. It doesn’t hold water very well, so it isn’t well suited for things that need to be wiped down. If you have one dirty area of the countertop that needs to be scrubbed, this will work well for that, but for general wipe-down-everything tasks, this is a poor choice.Since it is nylon, it doesn’t hold odor and bacteria the way regular sponges do, and we find ourselves not replacing them nearly as often as regular sponges. On the other hand, regular sponges are useful for a wider range of cleaning tasks. On the other other hand, these are a lot more expensive than regular sponges, so I’m not certain that we are actually saving any money. If your only reason for wanting to use nylon sponges is related to recent media hype about bacteria in sponges, you might want to do some googling. The research that all of those articles was based on involved only 14 sponges, with the findings pretty well misinterpreted in most of the articles. While bacteria is present on regular sponges, it is the same kinds of generally non-alarming bacteria that we encounter everywhere else in our lives.
