What do you think I will do with a scrubber? Will it tickle my fancy? Maybe Will it cook my dinner? I don’t think so. But it will scrub the dishes after, clean my tub, remove the crayon off my walls. And look good on my sink after. This scrubber is most durable, on both sides.Tried the cheaper versions and boy oh boy, did my dish washing husby complain! Cinderella, Cinderella! What for art thou going to doeth with chipped nails and wimpy sponges? Forever dingy, never clean, he doth shouted from the rafters.I learned my lesson and bought this generous, less than a $1 per scrubber, set, that shall last him for a good, long while. Major cleaning is in both of our futures, so perhaps I shall buy another?

We have been using these type of sponge/scrubbers for 25 years in our restoration company. Thousands of them. This is the only version of the green scrubbing sponge that is worth buying. Because it lasts at least 3x longer. The generic ones get soft and lumpy in a fraction of the time. And the generic sponges are too wimpy. You can often find excellent generic substitutes that work just as good for many different things. But, not when it comes to this type of scrubbing sponge.Pay the extra money. It’s actually cheaper in the long run.

This product really removes all stains, whether it’s in the kitchen or in the bathroom. When I do too much frying, there will be stains on the bottom of the pan that are hard to remove. The front side of the product will help me remove it, and the interior of the product is suitable for cleaning cups or practice items. The first use requires rinsing, and then satisfactory cleanliness can be achieved.

I read other reviews indicating the reviewer had received items that were not genuine Scotch Brite. The items I received were the real deal. Scotch Brite, not a generic. They have worked very well, and with the multiple unit purchase, they were cheaper than buying individually. No criticisms at all.

They came to me in what appeared to be a genuine Scotch Brite package including logo. The sponges all seemed to appear to be genuine Scotch Brite heavy duty scrub sponges that I am used to using. I noticed nothing odd about their scent. They were soft (sponge) on one side (yellow) and rough (scrub) on the other side (green) as expected. The sponges performed as expected with both sides being very durable even with heavy scrubbing. Use caution when using the green, scrub end. They are about as durable a sponge/scrub combo as you will find. The rough side is as rough as they come and very effective on oven pans with burnt-on gunk. I actually use this to clean the burnt enamel on my stove but have to be careful not to scratch through the finish. I use light pressure with soap and water and see very nice results. You do not want to use the rough surface on non-stick/coated pans because it will scratch that surface right off. You also want to be careful on certain counter surfaces like plastic laminate (Formica/Wilsonart/etc.) as over zealous scrubbing with the green side will lead to scratching and removal of the finish. Even scrubbing wood such as butcher block can distort the surface grain making it rougher. Also as mentioned above, you can scratch through enamel if you scrub too hard. Scratches will also appear on stainless steel that has an obvious brushed finish. They should be great for scrubbing shower tiles or tile floors; even natural stone like granite, marble, slate. I would use caution with acrylic surfaces like Corian as the rough side could leave visible scratches since Corian is sanded to a micro finish.Kitchen cabinets of wood, plastic laminate, or low pressure laminate (melamines/thermofoils) could also be scratched with the green side. Metal cabinets such as those perhaps located in a garage or on a deck or outdoor kitchen should hold up better to the scrub side but could still scratch paint or brushed stainless steel finishes.Overall, these are great scrub sponges for what they are. They are likely overkill for many household uses and perhaps better suited to certain industrial applications. Use caution when using them on certain surfaces and you should be OK.

As guilty as I feel for using disposable sponges, these simply get my dishes cleaner than a wash-and-reusable dish cloth. I gave it a 3 for scent because there is no scent, so it’s neither a positive nor negative criterion. These are durable. I make them last longer by boiling them in water to clean and sanitize them when they start to seem dirty. They do not last as long as the walnut-shell variety, but those are significantly more expensive per sponge. When I purchased these, Amazon’s per-spinge price was cheaper than my local grocery’s.

I love these sponges, they are gentle enough to not scratch my pots and pans, as well as they are “tough” when removing stuck on food. Lastly this sponge is extremely absorbent and doesn’t get the “stinky” mildew smell after a while like other sponges. I definitely recommend this product!!

These sponges get dishes and pans more clean than any of the others I’ve used. Are durable and last long. They don’t get smelly quickly.

I find these much the best of the various scrub sponges on the market. They last for a long time, are very effective at getting grime off pots and pans, and take up enough detergent (such as Soft Scrub) to really tackle tough jobs. Over time they can turn an unattractive grey, but this is easily remedied by soaking them in a dilute solution of household bleach, which restores their original brilliant yellow and does not seem to have any effect on durability. I totally rely on them for keeping my kitchen spotless.

They come in green they come in blue scotch always makes great sponges. A little trick a lot of people don’t know is that if The sponge starts to really smell Put it in the dishwasher and when you run your dishes it comes out like a brand new sponge you can only do that a few times but it does extend the life of the sponge
