Just follow the direction and test fit before cutting off the parts you don’t need. The only reason you have to cut is because the bracket is made for range of vehicle years that have slightly different mounting options. Once you figure out which mount fits your vehicle then you just cut off the mount that doesn’t fit if it otherwise gets in the way.This worked perfectly for my new style ’04 F150 for a double din radio. Looks good installed (sorry no pics) and it’s sturdy.

Based on reviews I went initially with a Metra dash kit even though over the years I’ve been happier with Scosche. I should have went with Scosche from the start. There were terrible gaps with the Metra kit especially at the bottom of the radio I could see into the dash it looked terrible in my 2005 F250. I returned it along with the Android double din Atto radio (junk) and swapped it for a pioneer with Android apps and this kit which fit perfectly.

This was so easy to install. Enjoyed installing on my 2004 F150 Supercrew with minimal effort . The only thing missing were screws which would have made the installation kit complete. Not hard to source but would have been a nice add to the kit.

This product looks like it has everything you’ll need to get your new car radio ready for install. UNLESS… You’re dumb like me and order the wrong one for your vehicle.

I had this kit first and wasn’t entirely pleased with it, my Pioneer removable faceplate would catch on the bottom and sometimes fail to eject. I wanted to replace it with a different brand and got that opportunity when a lowdown no good thief tried to steal my stereo and only managed to break the face ring off this kit. So I tried the Metra and discovered that the one I bought didn’t fit, so I hurried to get another one of these Scosche kits. This time I smoothed the inner edge of the opening along the bottom, and now it doesn’t catch the ejecting face plate, so it’s good now.

I used this for my 2008 mustang. It fits and looks nice. Mounting the stereo plays a big part in the fitment. If the stereo is to far up/down or sideways it will be dificult to get it to go in and work with surrounding trim. On my mustang there were round tab openings the faceplate has to line up with so it wasn’t trouble free but that’s how Does designed it.

Perfect fit for my 2007 mustang. Make an aftermarket double din stereo look factory. Quality made parts.I did not use the supplied connectors, I soldered my connections.I would recommend this and but it again if needed.

Perfect fit for my 2007 F 150. I had a different brand before that failed after 5 years. This one was a little sturdier, but has a 1/16th inch gap around the screen. The other brand did not have a gap. Doesn’t bother me and it really isn’t noticeable.

Product directions for actual faceplate assembly is lacking, but not too difficult to figure out. This kit has EVERYTHING including butt connectors and zip ties!The all in one kit is the BEST. If you are changing headunits just buy this kit and the head unit and you’re set to install!
