Does not work with Xfinity Mobile as of May 27 2022. This is not a reflection on the phone. Just be aware you won’t get a straight answer from Xfinity Mobile on this, as this Phone works fine on Verizon, Att and Tmobile. I assumed that since Xfinity uses Verizon network it would wor.Nope.Gotta but the phone from Xfinity. Honestly they are rookies with 5 answers from 5 CS reps.

I’m an old guy that never wanted or needed a cell phone. A few years ago my wife wanted to upgrade her old slider phone so I purchased an I-phone for her. Because our plan allowed for more than one phone I decided, grudgingly, to keep the old phone active and to carry it around “just in case”. I did have the opportunity to use it a few times due to the lack of pay phones (where’d they all go?) and when my riding mower got stuck in the back yard. It was a phone. The screen was about 1-1/2 inch square and it had internet connectivity but I just wanted it as a phone. With 5G here and the 3G going the way of pay phones (I still keep several quarters on me in case of emergency) I decided to upgrade to a smart phone. I didn’t need bells and whistles but I got them and more. The phone’s a nice size and almost goes from my ear to my mouth, something a lot of phones don’t do. I like the recessed button to turn it on. I was always accidently turning on my old phone accidently and discharging it. I can’t make a good comparison to other smart phones, this being my first, but I will say I’m very happy with it. It’s like carrying a communication device – camera – flashlight – magnifier – calculator and goodness knows how much more. It’s the Leatherman of communication devices. I put it in a nice case to protect it and carry it in a belt case so I don’t have to worry about it falling out of my pocket. It’s my new toy and I love it.

I have not enabled face recog. and fingerprint reader. So far, the battery in this has been unlocked and refurbished has pleasantly surprised me, so far. I read awful reviews claiming that their phone was not unlocked completely (if at all), cracked screens, scratched and dented bodies, terrible customer service issues. None of that! My Galaxy came in a Samsung Galaxy box, well protected looking brand new; not a blemish to screen or body. My former phone was a ZTE Blade, no longer available due to Trump/ China issue. I loved the the Blade, almost 6×4 inch which was great, if bulky. Big issue is unremovable/irreplacable battery. Once the battery dies…throw it away and usually lose all photos and phone numbers which were not backed up. Of course, mine were not. This phone arrived earlier in the day than expected. I popped the TMobile sim card out of my old phone and into the new and the phone prompted me every step of the way in set-up. I was prepared for having to contact friends and family to retrieved numbers….Who remembers dozens of numbers, as we once all did before cell phones? Sure enough no contacts transferred and many photos were lost. An hour after set-up an alert about updates came, I allowed and when the phone rebooted there was a question regarding retrieval of contacts and data from previous phone…..? I allowed and it’s all there! Dozens of photos and 100+ phone numbers. Numbers I had lost or deleted years ago, came back. The loading of pages and games is lightening fast; for me, going from 4 to 5G. No, the cord supplied did not charge the phone after I put on the wall adapter that I had. Please to say, my ZTE after market charger cord fit and worked better than the one sent and gave a rapid charge. I haven’t tried to charge with car’s cord but have no worries. No, it doesn’t come with product manual. It’s a used phone and mine came with a little “quick start guide” which has a link to online manual at Samsung….better than hard copy and can’t get lost. Honestly, I could not say enough, in praising the techs who restored this used phone and Amazon for their prompt delivery and the fantastic physical condition of this device. I, highly, recommend this purchase. Again…., so far, losing my old phone was the best thing that could have happened. I hope you find this helpful and have the same positive experiences. For those not expecting a Galaxy S22, this phone is great. Face recognition is spot on. Fingerprint recognition is perfect. I’ve had the phone a few weeks now and it hasn’t let me down yet. Very fast and very responsive given that the specs on this phone are considered the low of the low from Samsung. If you use your phone mainly for calls, texts, Facebook type apps, some web browsing, etc., you will be satisfied. I’ve even installed some games like Candy Crush and they work flawlessly.Battery life is outstanding. I went 2 full days using this phone like crazy, screen cranked up to the brightest setting and it was still at 54% power. The screen resolution looks fine to me. Honestly, unless you’re sitting it next to some super high end phone, you will never see anything subpar about it.I highly recommend this phone to those who want to save some money and still have something decent.Again, realize this is a budget phone and don’t expect something you’d get in the $1000 range. Samsung does it again with another nice quality phone. The only cons would be, one – the camera quality is on the lower end. I’m not a big picture taker so that isn’t an issue for me. The second, Samsung doesn’t give you a charger.I’d still give this phone a 5/5 in the budget category.Do your homework and know what you’re getting.

I really like the Galaxy A12, It is robust, easy to use and fast, and yes this one comes unlocked. The dual sim card/external memory tray is a breeze to set up. Just be careful not to reinstall it upside down. That won’t damage the phone, but the phone cannot recognize the sim card that way. Battery life is excellent, and with the included USB-C high-speed charger, it recharges very quickly. The screen is beautiful, easy to read and very fast. The Samsung Smart Switch function makes moving data and apps over from another phone a breeze. I highly recommend adding one of the many cases that are made for the A12. I got the inexpensive but highly regarded Galaxy A12 case from “Cell Phone Basic Cases by V/A”. Their case with green edges makes the phone extremel easy to find if you place it down on a dark surface.

I always trusted Samsung but I was at first little afraid of buying this US version factory unlocked Galaxy A13 5G because it is not that the flagship S model and the price is somewhat a quarter of the new S model prices. But to my surprise this unlocked A13 5G did more than my daughter’s $1000 S10. Powered by a 5000 mah battery and the latest Android 11, it runs amazing fast jumping from one app to another. As it is unlocked, I just switched the SIM card from my old phone with AT&T and worked flawlessly. Using Samsung’s own Smart Switch app I was able to transfer all apps, contacts, data and configuration from my old phone even though it was not a Samsung. Later I found out that I need a 5G SIM card to take advantage of the 5G capability, so I went to the local AT&T store to obtain a 5G SIM card from them, fearful that they will charge me $30 of upgrade charge and additional $5 for new SIM card. To my great surprise, it was FREE! And the rep did all the work and installation for me. I never ever went to the AT&T store and came out not spending any money. Wow.Camera works great with the option of the 3:4 size which allows extra clear 50 pixel photo. There is an option for other 16:9 and full phone stretch sizes as well as 1:1 square photos. It can take great telephoto as well as close up macro.I like that it holds 64 GB of internal memory and with lots of apps installed, I still have over 50% space left. With external micro SD card, it can expand to 1 TB though I use only 128 GB card for numerous photos, music, audiobooks and even my favorite full length movies.Fingerprint biometics did not work well at first. But when I gave all three fingerprints option on the same thumb, now it works 99% of the time. Facial recognition did not work well but maybe I was not good looking enough for this phone. I don’t care much of that technology because it kind of freak me out.I am really satisfied with this unlocked US version A13 5G and I’m looking forward to our trip to Europe and insert a European SIM card as it is fully factory unlocked.

Keep in mind I’m an older guy. I had the 4G A51 before this but I took it for an unintentional swim and that was the end of it. The A51 had 128GB RAM, this only has 64GB, but I wanted to try out 5G. I live in a rural area and honestly (even though the phone says it’s on 5G) I can’t tell a difference. REMEMBER: This phone is not REMOTELY water resistant. A good downpour with it in your pocket WILL cause issues. It WILL NOT wireless charge. All same as my A51. I just didn’t want a refurbished phone (even though I have had awesome luck with those on Amazon for the whole family. I use Verizon, but it will run AT&T, does have a dual SIM card slot despite other reviews. Only 720P not full HD but I need reading glasses with my phone so no biggie, again, for me.It is BIG!! Can’t close my cargo pockets on my pants with it inside, but I like that. Processor is not super fast but I don’t run high end Apps/Games. Slots and trivia for me, works fine. I like this phone. If I ruin it, I can get another for under $230 as of 4/6/22. If you don’t need a high end device (I solely buy Samsung) I recommend this. Only thing I don’t like; It makes you use Google Keyboard for voice to text. Haven’t found a work around for that. I just don’t like Google recording every word I say. Hopefully I can use Samsung voice to text keyboard in a future update.I like it, I recommend. Would be a good phone for people new to “smart phones.” I put in a 512GB SD card, so far I have loads of storage left.

Have not used the facial recognition or fingerprint reader features yet. And this Samsung A13 5G is listed second on a list of terrific phones for seniors (I’m almost 70!). Found out about that after I purchased it. Also, I purchased a Suanpot Sea Green cover w/RFID safety feature. All in all, I’m very satisfied.

Put in Qlink sim, up and running at over 200 m speed; did not have to sign into Samsung account, deleted most of the apps I didn’t want, love this phone already. 4g ram seems fast since I was on 2; wanted 6+ like another brand but for same money happy I went with 5G instead. If sound is good, as my previous Samsungs, we’re good; I bought this actually as my main stereo (receiver) at home with Mpow 59(+) headphones.I read the bad reviews. Hotspot, tethering,Wi-Fi Calling all work fine on Qlink. It’s not the phone, your carrier restricts these functions. If anything comes up, I’ll update. You can download and use Google keyboard/swype typing instead of Samsung. I’ve used Samsung and particularly the J7 line for years, if you’re happy with those, you’ll be happy with this. It’s the same, new version with 5G. Just buy it.
