So I have 2 cats. Both started shedding so bad. Not sure why but I thought it was because of the move and maybe a diet issue. I believe it was the diet. I purchased this since I did research and it stated it has a high omega fat content. I also purchased salmon oil for them as well. I haven’t needed to add the salmon oil so that’s good. I was worried it would stink the house up. My cats enjoy it..it’s cheaper than what I used to feed them and they are no longer shedding so much. It’s a win win for us. I know some may not like it but it worked for us. I say try it and if it works; then great. If it doesn’t; then just keep looking for what’d best for your needs. I’d say write down your issues and then find a product that tackles most if not all of the issues you have.

One of our cats has always suffered bowel issues but we never knew why. Vet recommended a food with probiotics and particularly this one for a store-bought brand. Our 7-yr. old timid, low-key male is now a fireball! He’s playful and adventurous and full of energy and pep. Cannot believe a single cat food made such a difference! This is all we feed our cats now and they devour it like it’s nectar from the gods! Wish I could find something this helpful for MYSELF!

I received my order and there is not meat pieces I ordered the same for dogs and that bad had meat pieces..Update: this savor is made without the meat pieces even though the pictures showed them. The pro plan savor shredded blend chicken is the one. May be they made a mistake when uploading pictures. So far the pro plan savor is doing great for my kitties they love it so much they hardly eat pate food.

I’ve used Purina Pro-Plan with both my adult cats since they were kittens and they love it. Up until this purchase, I’ve always purchased it at Petsmart, even though their prices tend to be on the higher side.Since I moved to Milwaukee from Minneapolis, there is no PetSmart location convenient to me, so I was delighted to see this on Amazon Prime for significantly less money than what I’d pay at Petsmart. There were 3-4 extra days of processing needed for this item, which was a bit annoying, but they clearly indicated that going in, even with Prime shipping, so I knew full-well that it might take a bit longer.The bigger bags are always worth the price increase based on how much you get with the smaller bags. The item arrived in a big cardboard box (which I promptly recycled) and was the exact product I’d have bought from Petsmart, only about $10 cheaper.I’ll definitely be buying again. Every penny counts.

I needed a good nutritious dry food to supplement the wet food(Purina Pro Plan Entrees in Sauce Adult Canned Wet Cat Food).My cats love this dry food and eat it every now and then during the day in-between wet food meals. I’ve noticed no negative effects from the food and my cats remain healthy and happy. The food smells and looks fresh and comes in good packaging. I’ve been feeding this to my cats the last few months with no problems.Would I recommend this dry food? Yes.

Transitioned from kitten food to adult. My cats are a year old. Both seem to love this food and was recommended by their vet. Best part about this food and sorry TMI, their poop doesn’t smell up my entire house anymore. Their kitten food, actually had guest leaving my house, cause the poo would stink the whole place up. So this PURINA PRO PLAN has put a stop to the overwhelming smell every time they go. I recommend this food. Both cats also adjusted easily and well to it, neither vomited or seemed to mind the switch

I don’t write many reviews, only if I LOVE the product or if my review may help others. I have 3 cats, one can eat anything, no problems. The other 2 however are very sensitive. They can’t handle any wet food, I think I have just about tried every single kind out there. They throw it up almost immediately. I have tried the Purina sensitive skin and stomach (dry) and they did do better on it but still threw up a lot. I mean twice a week or more for each cat. So onto another brand of dry food. After trying numerous kinds, anything from Science Diet to Blue Buffalo to Friskies, they threw them all up. Finally after reading reviews on this cat food I gave it a try. Really really happy I did. I finally found one they don’t throw up. I mean in the past month I’ve probably cleaned maybe 2 or 3 piles of throw up up. Which is fantastic to what I was dealing with before. Some people may think that’s too much but I have to say I’m a happy Purina ProPlan cat food purchaser for life. This stuff is a miracle for me and my cats!

My kitties absolutely love this food and I’m happy because chicken is the first ingredient. For those that don’t know, the healthiest, best quality cat foods start with the main source of protein as the first ingredient in the ingredient list. I’ve never seen my kitties love a food as much as this one. Purina, please don’t change the product at all..will be reordering indefinitely!!
