Filament might not work with machines that have triangular or other non-circular intake channels.
Before ordering our VacGroom Kit, please double check if your own vacuum clear has a circular intake channel. For best results, make sure the connection between the VacGroom and your vacuum is tight and secure.
Furthermore, the inner diameter of the Connector (the part that attaches from VacGroom to your vacuum) has an inner diameter of 13/16″. The outer diameter varies to fit any size between 1 3/8″ and 1 3/4″. The Adapter located on the hose has an inner diameter that varies to fit any size from 1″ to 1 5/8″ and an outer diameter of 2 1/8″ formation.

Oh my gosh this is seriously the best thing ever! I can’t even describe the genius put into this tool!So my dogs shed all over the place and it’s so hard to clean up their fur. What this does it it eliminates the fur from the dog before it gets all over the house.As you can see from the photos my ten pound dog has a crazy amount of fur that comes off after one brush.So this attaches to the vacuum hose. Turn the vacuum on and brush the dog with this attachment. When it’s full of fur push the button up which releases the brush from the upright position to it pointing down so the fur can just be sucked off the brush. Repeat as many times as you like.Full disclosure, my dog doesn’t particularly like this. But she’s getting it and she let’s me hold her to do this. I think the brush feels good and she likes that all the extra fur is coming off, especially since it’s summer and it will cool her down.Please note this DOES NOT vacuum the dog! There is no suction that touches the dog so you don’t have to worry about the dog getting hurt.Think of it as a furminator brush attached to a vacuum.Highly highly recommend this product!

Love my animals, but hate the shedding this time of the year. This VacGroom is awesome! With my other brushes and grooming tools, two swipes and I had to empty the brush and try to catch the fly-away hair. I have a short haired dog and two multi-coated long hair dogs. It worked so amazingly on all their coats, I can’t wait to tell all my pet-owning family and friends about it! I have a small 1.5 HP shop vac that I use on them and it fit perfectly without the adapter. Unfortunately, the shop vac only has a one gallon capacity and this VacGroom works so well, that I have to empty it after each dog! Never had that problem before!

This works great on my small dog using my Shark lift away. My dog actually likes it, although she already liked being brushed. I introduced without the vacuum on first. Now when I vacuum she comes over to beg for a groom.Here is a pic of how I use it with the Shark. I do lose a little suction, but it is plenty for my small dog.

OMG Do I LOVE this attachment! Once our German Shepherd got over the fact I was “vacuuming her”, she loved her grooming session too! It filled the entire canister with her loose hair, and any fly aways, no problem, I already had the vacuum in hand. As for flipping the switch, much easier than regular grooming, where you stop, pull the hair out of the comb, and have to place it in the trash bag. The button takes a second to push, and even with our hairy dog, I could do two or three brush strokes before having to use it. This thing is amazing. Highly recommend to anyone who has a shedding dog!

My wife was contemplating our dusty, shedding dog after I brought home back from the woods, and said, “Wouldn’t it be great if someone combined a brush or comb with a vacuum cleaner?” I said, “Let’s check Amazon!” (Yes, I do have a bit of a Prime problem…) I found this in seconds on Amazon, hit One-Click and two days later it was on the doorstep. Yes, I did brush my dog the day I ordered it.We attached it to the extension hose on the shopvac, put the shopvac around the corner of the house and introduced the dog to the comb. Okay, he was about as skeptical as we were at first, but once I started combing him he wouldn’t let me stop. We have vacuumed out several dogs’ worth of shedding fur, dirt, ticks, and burrs over the last couple of months. I don’t know how we ever lived without this!It seems well made, comes with multiple adapters, and does exactly what I want it to.[ UPDATE: It has now been nearly 5 years and this tool is still a regular part of our dog grooming. Nothing has broken despite being tossed around the garage and otherwise mistreated. Still 5 stars! ]

I love this product. One of my cats sheds really bad. Fortunately he loves to be vacuumed. Attachment fits perfectly on my Shark. This vacuum tool is a blessing. I’m so happy I took a chance and ordered it. Have tried others but they didn’t fit my vac or they just didn’t do the job.The pictures show the results after a short round of grooming. Otherwise I fill the tank nearly full.This attachment is great!!

The media could not be loaded. WOW!! This thing actually works! I was so hesitant on purchasing after mixed reviews but so glad I went ahead and bought it! At first I didn’t think it fit on my rainbow vacuum but after I put the extender pole it fit on perfect! You have the put the pole in the tube hose and then rotate the tube hose until it tightens onto the pole. Pulls off the shedding hair so easy and then sucks it up no problem! My dog loves the vacuum so I knew the noise would not scare her. SHE LOVES THIS TOOL! Now if your dog is scared of vacuums then this isn’t the best tool, but you can train your dog to love vacuums! Overall it’s a 10/10 for me! I totally recommend this! In fact, when I stopped brushing my dog she came right up to my face to keep brushing. Don’t be fooled by some of these reviews.

I have a 40lb mutt, a short/medium hair mix that kinda looks like a yellow lab and a golden retriever. Anyway, my dog SHEDS. Sheds like a maniac. There’s hair on the kitchen floor, stairs, carpet, sofa… This dog’s hair is everywhere. I vacuum and an hour later, the bottom of my socks are coated with fur. I feel like I can’t invite people over because I can’t get control over the hair. And when I do, my parting gift is a roll of packing tape to remove the hair off their clothes. It’s plain embarrassing.So I decided to buy this dog vacuum and absolutely love it. It fits easily on my vacuum. Downside is, it is somewhat loud and i was worried that the noise would scare my dog, but with one of us feeding him treats and the other vacuuming him, he can handle it. He actually started liking it because it feels like a massage (plus he gets the treats). Other bonus is if you have teens like I do, the apparatus is so intriguing, they’ll want to do it and it’s no longer a chore to ‘brush the dog’.So if you have a serious shedder, consider this pet groomer and reduce your time vacuuming while enjoying relaxing on the couch watching your teens do the work.

I love this thing! I have 3 dogs. A 103 lb. Great Pyrenees (20 lbs hair), a minuture Australian Shepard (50% hair) and Terrier mix (he has short course hair. Yes I think I am crazy too and all of the hair bout had me in a straight jacket. I attached this to a ShopVac I also bought on Amazon and I sucked the loose hair off my two fluffy dogs like a girlfriend in heat! I have been trying everything to find a solution to all of this hair problem and I have finally done it. The shedding comb pulled out all of the extra hair time after time. Once the comb gets full you push a button that turns the teeth toward the hose and the vacuum sucks ti right in. The upholstery comb worked so much better that the original vacuum tool because it has plastic nubs with open sections between the nubs, that grab the hair but the vacuum suction doesn’t cause it to “stick” to the cushions. I am truly giddy with how well this works. I also suggest the Shop Vac too because with this tool and the ShopVac I spent $80.
