I want to first preface this by saying I have NEVER written a review for anything I have purchased on amazon but I just had to write about how AMAZING this product is!! Long story short… I washed a pair of newborn blue jeans (which I thought were rid of excess dye) in with a load of mixed colored and white baby laundry. The jeans ended up bleeding all over the clothes in the load and I didn’t realize it until after I took everything out of the dryer. It was bad…. the white clothes looked like they had been tye dyed!! After soaking some of the whites that were heavily stained with denim dye in oxiclean only to see the dye still all over I was willing to try anything. I was skeptical at first but after reading some reviews I figured I had nothing to lose as I figured I’d be throwing away the whole lot anyway. I am blown away with the job this product has done!! I’m kicking myself that I didn’t take pictures from before and after, that I could post, because you’d have thought I bought all new white clothes. I even used it on two white polo Ralph Lauren shirts with dark blue polo pony logos and it didn’t ruin the logos! The clothes look brand new!! I will forever be using this product on all my whites.I will say it does have a chlorine-ish smell when you dissolve the product into the water so I would be sure to turn a fan on if you can. Also I soaked the clothes for much longer than the 20 minutes recommend on the bottle. It was closer to about 2 hours since they were so heavily stained. The clothes did have the chlorine-ish smell when I pulled them out of the wash so I ran them through a rinse cycle again and then into the dryer and they smell and look like brand new clothing again.Amazing amazing amazing stuff!

Works just like bleach. For folks asking about using it with white clothes that also have colored parts, don’t. It’s bleach. If you wouldn’t use liquid bleach on it, don’t use this. I would try some baking soda and/or hydrogen peroxide instead (which is all that Oxi-Clean is, btw, but they charge you a ridiculous price). For the one reviewer who claimed this left orange spots on her whites, either she accidentally washed something orange with it, OR (more likely) there was rust on the washing machine tub. I’ve used this for years. There’s no way that bleach turned a white material orange unless something orange-hued was in the machine as well. You should have your machine checked for rust. One caveat, again, it’s dried bleach. When you dump this in, that powder can get airborne and you do NOT want to breathe that. I put this in the bottom of the machine and then immediately put the clothes in on top of it to try to minimize airborne particles. Still, hold your breath until it settles.

Since I moved, I’ve been having a lot of trouble with my whites looking gray. I’ve tried all kinds of remedies: bleach, peroxide, Oxyclean, homemade solutions with lemon and dishwasher soap, vinegar, 20 muleteam borax, washing soda, and it goes on….. Peroxide turned the whites tan. Ouch! The fix was OUT White Brite. It brought all the white back. Something in our well water makes whites gray and colors a bit “dingy”. This stuff is only for whites but it works great. The picture above is an old pair of undies on the left and one out of the package on the right. You can’t see it that well in the photo but the old pair is whiter. The old pair was a dull grayish off white. My white socks are stunning! I didn’t have a new pair of socks to lay side by side. I know that would have been a more pleasant photo.

I was ready to throw out a punch of perfectly good towels, but because they were gray and dingy I hated using them. I did some research on Amazon and read other reviews and it came to two products. Tide Rescue and Brite White. I first bought the Tide on Amazon and tried it several times. It simply did not work and saw no difference. Then I purchased the Brite White. I followed the directions and soaked several towel in the sink with with very hot water and 1 cup of Brite White and detergent overnight. In the morning I washed the towel in detergent and 1/2 cup Brite White in hot water. I was absolutely amazed at the difference. Now, some of the hand towel may need another application, because they have been gray for a long time. But I have to say Brite White is one of the best products I’ve used on towel, sheets, etc.

I don’t use bleach in my washing machine. This is an excellent alternative. Works just like bleach. Be careful when you use it, though. Some got on my pink shirt and now it has a white spot and ruined the shirt. It surprised me ’cause I didn’t think it would work like bleach, but it did. So be careful. Brightens up my whites, but don’t use in your colors or dark loads.

This stuff is amazing. Truly. I had a lot of very dingy white T-shirts (more grey by that point) and antique linens that were dulled and browned. I had tried Oxy soaks, baking soda, vinegar, peroxide ….you name it. I used buckets, tubs and soaked for days and days. I decided the items were all past the point of repair but decided to try this as a last resort. I have to say I was shocked. My very old grey T-shirts turned white and the antique linens are no longer cream…they are white as should be. I did not know when I ordered that this is available at WalMart (smaller containers), so maybe try there first if you’re curious. This is now a must-have in my laundry room.

This is a fantastic whitening product if you have hard water, especially with a high iron and sulpher content. I tried a lot of products including various bleaches, Oxyclean(both completely ineffective), and others and this is the only thing that would get that yellowing dingy color out of my white loads. I usually use a little more than recommended and let the load soak for a little while and this stuff really works , as I had practically given up on my water. I have a very fussy sister in law who had the same issue and she has thanked me many times for turning her on to Whitebrite. The only thing I can’t understand is the pricing of this stuff. The larger the quantity the more you will pay, here on Amazon and at other places. The best deal around is Wal-Mart if they stock it at about $4 for the 28 0z. container. What’s going on Amazon, even your in house price is more than that. You guys are having a war so why don’t you price match.

I used this product as a last resort to save 4 pieces of clothing (All White) that had been ruined in the wash and were now a BRIGHT PINK! (Don’t ask me how I missed the red piece in the sort).I tried bleach (made it worse) then various treatments found on YouTube (no luck), vinegar and baking soda (did not work at all) and then ordered this from Amazon.I half filled a deep sink with very hot tap water and used a full cup of this stuff and soaked the clothing for about 30 minutes. The clothing started to look less pink and then I swirled the items around for about 5 minutes and did not see a improvement. I realized that the HOT water with this stuff is what works. I drained the sink and re-filled it half way again with very hot water from the tap and used about a cup and a half. I started to agitate it with a wooden kitchen spoon for about 10 minutes and then let the items sit in the solution for about 1 hour. When I returned, the items were all BRIGHT WHITE and no sign of any color transfer. This stuff WORKS once you get the hang of it. Highly recommend.

Our community water service has been experiencing problems for months after switching to a new well. Nearly everything I owned was stained with iron, bedding, clothing, towels, everything. White t-shirts, underwear, socks, came out brown, it’s been just awful. Originally I tossed everything, but that becomes expensive, replacing everything, multiple times. I was tearing my hair out until I accidentally stumbled on this product. It’s a miracle. No kidding. My whites are bright again. Try it. It works. It gets the staining out! It works amazingly well. It is worth every penny, and has saved my sanity and my wallet.

YES!!! Works fantastic on dirt stains from the ballfield. Even got old washed in dirt stains!! Spent so well on grass stains so I still use my shout for that and I also let the baseball pants soak in a bucket with his stuff over night, then wash! A must for baseball/softball moms!!! I highly recommend!!
