Really great lighting for “work from home” and “remote school” and whatever other reasons for video conferencing. I’m always the best lit (and in the most flattering light if set up correctly lol) in zoom conferences. This product specifically is unique because 99% of the lighting sets on amazon are rectangular; this octagonal setup is an even bigger light source. Very easy to use. The different color temperatures are nice because you can use it to match existing lighting. (for example, if used with indoor lighting, the warm color temp matches. If used as fill light for sun light, use the cool temp.) But don’t expect the color temp to make things as different as product photos, because your webcam will auto-white balance.

What I really love about this package, are the air-cooled, remote-controllable LED lights. They fit into a standard light socket, so you can use them in a lamp or other lighting fixtures.The lights have three color temperatures, corresponding with what I refer to as “warm white”, “bright white”, and “daylight”. They can also be dimmed. They are controlled by an infrared remote controller, so depending on how you position them and where you point the controller, you can control them independently or together.If it comes with instructions, mine were missing. However, everything is easy to figure out, so except for one button on the remote control, I had no problem. That one button, by the way, looks like a recycle symbol. I tried pushing it alone and in combination with other buttons. Nothing. Oh well.The stands are standard-issue. Nothing to write home about, but not bad either. I like the way the umbrella reflector opens. You have to use two hands to do it, but once you know that, it’s easy. It was a bear trying to do it with one hand.The diffusion covers are nice. They do the job well and can be installed or removed easily.This set of lights is perfect for small photography/video studios and other intimate settings. The umbrellas and diffusers do a good job of producing a pleasing, balanced light on the subject. They are bright enough when used close to the subject. In other words, these are not high-powered lights for lighting up an entire set; just a single subject. That’s exactly what I need, so I’m pleased.

The bulbs are not glass which is so nice and I love this product for indoor photography! The photo is of a set up I did with the lights.. you can change them to 3 different settings and use a remote.

This is a great beginner studio setup and I love the remote and changing of the color from warm, medium, cool and changing the brightness on the remote is very convenient. Light stands are cheap but overall love it!!

This is perfect for flat photography or studio lighting at home. Light weight and stores easily. Only thing is there is no hot shoe for trigger shooting. Other than that, it is a great soft box lighting system.
