When I originally ordered these my plan was to replace my older studio lights with smaller LED panels so I could have them closer to my subjects. They come with two very nice tripods that are more heavy duty than the tripods that came with my other studio lights. I trust these stands to hold up without any problems. What’s nice about these lights is the black barn doors. They work really well to deflect the light and control the temperature and direction. The light panel has a dimmer as well for warm and cold adjustments. The battery plate is for sony batteries so if you need these to work where you can’t power them through a wall charger they are a quick set to take on the road thanks to the storage carrying bags. Comes with a power adapter so power sourcing is really convenient at any home or office or studio.

These are far better than I had expected. Neewer has been stepping up their game since when I first started buying their products. Always well priced, the initial products reflected it. Never have I ever had a failure on their other products, but this set is solid. Everything on this feels much more expensive. It is a little weaker output than I calculated but I am very happy to buy these. would do it again.

These lights, are superb, dimmable and can change the temperature of the light. The barn doors are a great plus also. I purchased two of these for my studio, then liked them so much we purchased two more. The only negative is that it uses an AC adaptor, which can get in the way on the studio floor, hard to gaff around. Still give the light five stars.

Most surprised by the stands, they are good quality with solid construction, spring damped and wide footprint for stability. I did a 12hr burn-in with no problems on AC. Ran a battery test, with an equivalent NP-F750 battery, got 2+ hrs with the pwr set at 12 o’clock for each color channel (60%?). Wish the daylight channel was > over 6500K color temp, but gels will allow me to run both channels at full.

Very nice. The bi-color (yellow/white) of this array is outstanding and I appreciate the ability to power them with either 1 or 2 standard size NP-F series battery packs. Makes it easy to move lighting stands around to get just the right look, or to compensate for shifting natural light sources. I use them for video work, but am going to try photo studio lighting this weekend. I have a number of fixed LED arrays I use in a studio setting, but this is my first foray into the bi-color LED world. I look forward to exploring that capability further.

The price made me worry, but once I used them it was a shock on the quality, the level to detail and the power they had. I’m about to order another set for my b-unit and would highly recommend them to beginners or professionals on a budget. Well worth it!!!

Hey everyone,I want to keep this brief but may not be able to.The light is great, especially considering the price. You WILL NOT find another LED light/kit that is this bright and well made for the price range. I have worked with plenty of LED light kits and this exceeded my expectations by far. The light is bright. It is constructed of almost all metal. It has a good weight to it and most importantly, this kit will light a scene for you exceptionally. One thing to add is how long the battery will run one of these lights. Upon receiving the lights and a pack of Neewer NW-F970 6600mah batteries I charged the batteries to 100%. I placed a SINGLE battery on one of the lights and cranked up both the yellow and white lights to their max output and started a stopwatch. The light began to dim slightly (not very noticeable) at 58 minutes. The light kept the same brightness and then shut off at 1hr 21m. That is almost an hour and a half at max power from a single battery. I have read some reviews and watched videos and seen people talking about getting 30/45 minutes from a single battery and I honestly think it is because they are buying smaller versions of compatible batteries. I can’t see how else their results are so different from mine. I will do another test soon and update with how long the light will last with 2 batteries placed on the back.Anyways, buy them and you won’t be disappointed. I was going to wait and save up over $1k for a nice light kit but due to necessity had to purchase a kit earlier than expected. I don’t see myself buying new lights soon. They blow all my old bulb and reflector kits out of the water.

The barn door LED panel lights are the perfect fill-in lights. I use them day and night in my studio. I can adjust the brightness of the lights and the stands. The barn doors open and close so I can direct where and how much light to let in. Max height is 75 inches so this baby can climb! The panel is inserted into a u shape bracket so I can turn it forward for better and closer angling. Comes on a shoe mount that can attach to 1/4 inch mount so not only can it fit on different compatible threaded tripods/screw tops but the stand will fit all kinds of other equipment as well, so the stand is multifunctional for other shooting uses. Two diffusors are provided for diluting the brightness and making it softer. The big advantage of LEDs is that they tend to stay relatively cool, they last a really long time cause they won’t break, and use a fraction of the energy of regular fluorescent bulbs. Does the job, I’m glad I bought them.

Purchased these to use as hair lights. I’m very satisfied with both of them. Professional level built quality. The controls are responsive and dim, so they’re well-situated for any setting. The two light colors can be adjusted individually. The barn doors diffuse and yield color temperature with the four fold in and out panel doors. The lights are extremely well-designed and durable. Completely modern looking but built for versatility with the lighting and charging options and the sturdy turn mount and stand. Really impressed with the quality of this set.

Decided to do these 660W instead of the lower power little brothers to these guys. Two of these were the same price as three of the lower power options and I am thankful I went with these. Just did a shoot in daylight and they were bright enough (plugged into an outlet, not battery) to be effective fill lights.Love the temperature adjustment, although if you want maximum brightness you have to max the yellow and white options.Quality feels decent for the price, it’s mostly made of metal. Very portable and the cases are nice. No case for the stands, although they were better quality then what I had anticipated based on the other reviews.I use this for church communications work and some of my side corporate work, so overall pretty low-level production quality stuff, no filmmaking or anything.
