This one-time use air freshener flows through the ventilation system, across the headliner and in-between all other hard to reach areas, eliminating odors and leaving a fresh, clean scent in its place. Find odors wherever they are, permanently remove them and freshen your interior with a pleasant New Car Scent that lasts for weeks. *Meguiar’s Re-Fresher technology permanently removes existing bad odors through chemical bonding on a molecular level.
Refreshing is as easy as 1-2-3
- Remove: Simply remove the source of the odor from the vehicle and clean affected areas.
- Recycle: With your car’s fan on high and the air recycle turned on, the odor eliminator air refresher mist will move throughout the cabin and ventilation ducting, removing odors as it goes.
- Re-Fresh: Simply engage the can’s locking trigger and close the doors of your vehicle. Let the Air Re-Fresher go to work for approximately 15 minutes then open the doors and let it air out for at 10 minutes before use.
Direction for using Meguiar’s air refresher
- Start the vehicle with the fan set on high (circulated cold air) and close all windows.
- With the Air Re-Fresher nozzle facing away from you, activate the locking trigger.
- Place the Air Re-Fresher in the center of the car (typically on the floor between the front and back seats).
- Close all the doors and allow the Air Re-Fresher to work for 15 minutes.
- Open all the doors after 15 minutes, turn vehicle off and let it air out for an additional 10-15 minutes before use.
Further tips
- Vehicle should be unoccupied. No person, pets or plants should be inside the vehicle.
- For best results, locate the source of any unwanted odor and remove it.
- Dry brush, vacuum and clean any soiled carpet and upholstery.
- Park your vehicle in the shade and in a well-ventilated area.
- Do not use more than one can, per vehicle, at a time.

This thing was awesome. After I quit smoking I just couldn’t get the foul smell out of my truck. Then I got this, start your car and put the fan in high with the a/c cranked as low as it will go. Then, set this off in your vehicle and it cycles through the vents for ten minutes. After that just open the doors and let it air out and your car smells amazing. I will definitely buy this again! Bought a low-miles used van. They detailed it and it did a great job. The cleaner they used was overpowering and after it subsided the van had a wet-dog smell. I saw this online decided to take a chance. Would it really work or just add another layer of smell?There are few in life I am amazed by. This little can happens to be one of those amazing things. I followed the instructions verbatim. At first the smell was overpowering and that lasted 4-5 days. It then turned very pleasant and my passengers even remarked how great the van smelled. It’s now been a month and there is a slight hint of the fragrance but the miracle is that the wet dog smell is completely gone.This smells nothing like “new car” but it does smell great. It’s not a perfume or flowery smell. It’s hard to describe but it smells clean and fresh. And di I mention the wet dog smell is completely gone? I did? Totally gone. I love it so much I bought another can to give it another treatment, only because I love the clean smell. My daughter had someone barf in her car and she was advised to use ammonia to clean it up. Total mistake. I gave her a can of this and after months of trying different remedies this is the only one that worked.This works on barf, ammonia barf, and wet dog. And it’s the closest thing to a miracle I’ve experienced. Not sure what the magical science is behind this stuff but I am a believer and tell every stinky car friend I have about it.

I am not sure what is going on with car makers these days, but apparently AC vents don’t drain properly anymore. The moisture collects and you start getting an odor out of the AC. Using one of these once a month clears it up nicely though.

used one in my jeep and one in the camper. took odor from smoker away. directions was very easy to use.turned on the air on high, pushed the button and left it run for 15 – 20 min. BUT BEFORE THAT I DETAILED THE JEEP it is a must to clean the area before using the product. it eliminates odors it does not clean your vehicle for you. i will buy more for other uses. thanks!

After getting my car back from the dealer it was obvious that some one had smoke in my car. This truly disturbed me. After having the dealer replace the interior air filter it still smelled. So I bought this car bomb (that’s what the dealer called it). The first time the smell was gone for about a month. So I detailed the interior again and set off another car bomb. Now 6 months later and it still smells fresh. Loving my ride again. Thanks Meguiar this is a truly great product.

Accidentally dumped a protein shake in my truck and figured it was no big deal because the seats were vinyl, cleaned it up. Queue nasty, rotting protein smell. Tried everything to get rid of it with no luck. Started seriously considering replacing the seats where it must have soaked in under the vinyl, but decided to try this first. One application and the smell is GONE. Couldn’t believe it. Would buy again.

I followed the instructions and everything went according to plan. At first its a very strong smell of household cleaning products combined with a manly type cologne. After about a week the smell weakened. After two weeks it is just about completely gone… or at least I don’t notice it.My reason for use:I bought a used car with a strong bowling alley / cigarette smell. The dealer replaced the headliner, replaced the cabin filter and hired someone to perform a chemical bath service. The smell was lessened but still present. I took the car to a local car wash and had them steam clean every surface that they were willing to. This additionally reduced the smell but I could still smell the smoke slightly, especially while using the AC. I then used this product, leaving the AC on full per the instructions, and I no longer have any cigarette smell. I’m sure it was the combination of my efforts that removed the smell but I think that this product really did the job when it comes to removing lingering odors from my AC.

HOLY SMOKES! Or shall I say, ”Holy no more smokes!” I’m an ex-smoker, who absolutely HATED the way my car smelled after quitting. My nice new car smell like an ashtray. It also smelled like milk that my son had spilled, and he had gotten car sick a few times. I recently had to be the driver to a family event, and didn’t want my Dad being grossed out. I didn’t have time to get my car detailed, so I ordered this and hope for the best. It’s AMAZING!I detailed my car myself first. Removed everything out of it, vacuumed it, and wiped down the interior. I followed the directions and let it sit in the car with the windows shut and AC blowing for 15 minutes. I think the can must have run out before the time was up, because it wasn’t spraying when I opened the door (not sure how long it actually “fogged” for). I let the car air out, and was super impressed at how good it smelled. It has a classic Meguiar’s new car scent. I was afraid it would be too heavy or perfumey…. the last thing I wanted to do was give people a headache. It has a very crisp, clean scent. It’s seriously smells like fresh air!! It’s been 3 week and I still smell it coming through my air vents! Absolutely no smoky smell anymore, and every other odor has been eliminated. The first thing my dad said when he got in the car was “Wow! You got your car detailed, didn’t you?!” 😉 ha!I highly recommend this! I plan on doing it again in a month or so.
