The media could not be loaded. Everything about it is perfect. I live in an apartment with open floor plan. The kitchen and living room are the same space and about 750 SF. I placed my unit somewhere centered (see photo and video).- SENSOR/AUTO MODE – it has a PM2.5 laser sensor as you should expect. it works! My in-law had something cooking in the stove (I didn’t know) and as soon as the smell hit me, the unit was already in Auto mode during the day, and it turned itself on ramping up that fan to get rid of the thick cooking air. minutes later it went back to normal once the air in the kitchen/living room was filtered.- CHILD LOCK – My 2 yo can’t mess with it like with the other ones.The filter is big so it does move a great volume of air through it. It does what it says it does.I would recommend.PS. I’m a photographer, so that’s why the video and photos look like that. I didn’t download these from the internet.

I liked this unit so much for the master bedroom, I bought the MA112 for the second floor. Dust is not gone, but far less than prior to installing. Only complaint is the power button flashes when the unit is off. Annoying in the bedroom at night to have flashing lights. Owners manual says to unplug unit when not in use? I have emailed the company owner with questions and he responded within minutes. That’s impressive service.

After moving into our new construction home about a year ago, we noticed that we began getting head colds quite frequently (monthly it seemed). I realized that because our basement and backyard were unfinished, and we have two large breed dogs – the air quality in our home had to be the culprit! I started researching air purifiers… quality, price, types, etc. and found the Medify Air MA-40. On paper, it ticked all the boxes so we ordered it desperate for relief from our constant sicknesses. When it arrived, the first thing I noticed was its clean, modern appearance as well as how quiet it is. I love that our toddler can’t change the settings thanks to the Child Lock option as well. Since turning our air purifier on, we hadn’t had ANY sicknesses… it was amazing so I began recommending it to everyone! This purifier does exactly what it says its going to do.Now here is where the great customer service comes in – Our change filter light began to blink (it was also the first time we’ve been sick again since purchasing it). I decided to purchase our replacement filter directly through the Medify Air website because they offer a discount through their auto-ship program. I noticed that our shipment tracking wasn’t updating from the Pre-shipment phase in New Jersey so I emailed customer service to find out if it was accurate or if maybe there was a glitch and it was on its way. The Co-Founder himself emailed me back with a very honest answer.. it was stuck at port and waiting inspection thanks to the coronavirus. I’ll be honest, I struggle with anxiety and germaphobia so knowing my package could’ve recently crossed paths with the virus made me very uneasy- he was incredibly understanding of my concerns and was willing to fulfill my request to cancel my order until things improved. But then he offered a solution so we could still receive our much needed filter without having it recently shipped from overseas – he would send us a replacement filter from one of their new units they keep in-stock at their US facility priority mail so that it will arrive in 1-3 days. Now THAT is customer service! As soon as our basement is finished I plan to move our MA-40 down there and purchase the MA-112 for our main level – they have customers for life! My only wish is that they manufactured 100% of their products in the USA… I would definitely pay the extra for that.Thank you Medify Air for helping us improve the air quality in our home and your wonderful customer service!

Initially I was in the market for an air purifier that would rid the air of odors, but have been using it in my bedroom to clean the dust that comes out of the vents when I turn the heater on as it has been getting so cold at night and especially the morning to the point that I am forced to turn the heater on which fills my apartment with dust giving me stuffy noses and making it hard to breath. I was excited to order this MA-40 model based on positive reviews and the review by the person in the video; which I’ll add more to on later, and the shipping was lightning fast considering I opted for free shipping, it arrived within two or three days of placing my order.I unpacked it, read everything in the short easy to read user manual that was included and started using it. I really like the sharp modern design and it has a quality look, design, fit and finish aesthetically comparable to that of Apple, Samsung, LG quality, so I really want to like this purifier. It does seem to be cleaning the air, although it is impossible for me to know if it working exactly right or not. When I turn it on it starts off in auto mode; which I believe is the medium speed while the sensor supposedly tests the air quality, but then always goes back down to low speed with the light changing from green to blue after thirty seconds and I have never seen the red light that indicates dirty air once. The biggest disappointment for me though is that although I was researching and shopping for air purifiers that would take care of odors in other parts of my apartment, while my bedroom was one of the few rooms without odor, because I leave the door closed and often open the window to air it out, has actually started to smell like other rooms in the apartment! Could it be that it’s moving air in from other rooms to my small 180-200 square foot bedroom? I have in the middle of the room away from furniture; or as best I can do in such a dense space.In spite of not being fully satisfied with the MA-40, I had still planed on purchasing the MA-112 for the rest of my apartment, but what really turned me off just recently is how the video review seems to be intentionally misleading. I clicked on the video review on both the MA-40 and the MA-112 and I assumed the man reviewing them was a guy from some sort of impartial consumers advocate who does nothing but review air purifiers all day, who words things in a way that I would think that; like “this gets our highest rating in it’s class” and “honestly for the dollar, the MA-112 is the best purifier on the market today” You never see his face in the reviews on the items listing page, but he has a very distinctive voice, and I clicked on the link to Medify’s home page and it is obviously the same man doing other reviews and commercials, who reveals that he and his wife started the business and are the owners of Medify Air.Now I am torn! I thought I was done with all the research and reading of positive reviews by others, enough so that although not totally sold on the MA-40 was still planning on giving the MA-112 a chance, but don’t know if I can even trust this company anymore.

I bought this Medify MA-40 2.0 Medical Grade Filtration H13, True HEPA Air purifier during the 2020 Corona Virus pandemic. We have 2 large dogs, a kid who is back from college early due to the pandemic and my wife is a nurse at a local hospital. But it was not only those items that pushed me in this direction. I always change the furnace filter regularly. The first floor of the house has carpeting in only one room. The second floor is mostly carpeted except for the master bedroom which has an area rug that extends out a little beyond the bed. It was when I was in the hallway one morning and our sons bedroom door was open, and so were the curtains. The sun was shining in. As I looked towards that window, in the suns rays, I was astonished to see all the airborne particles/dust/or whatever. It just did not spell healthy air inside my home as far as I was concerned. I can tell you that at that point, for me, that Corona Virus Pandemic or not, I didn’t like what I was seeing at all and I was going to do something about it. I kept thinking how it seems like every winter, that winter cough seems to stick around, once it starts, for the rest of the heating season. So I started looking on line. I saw several different manufacturers and models on line. There were lower cost models and there were higher cost models as well. for myself, I determined this was the one that I wanted to try. So I cannot tell you whether this model is just right, overkill or insufficient but I can tell you this. I first started it up and ran it on the first floor after I opened the package when I came home from work. Within a couple hours, I felt that I could tell a difference. I asked my wife what she thought. She was a little on the fence about it but felt a little something different. That night, when we went to bed, I took it upstairs and ran it in the hallway (leaving all of the bedroom doors open. The next morning, I left it in the upstairs hall when I left for work. When I got home, and headed up the stairs, there was a defined point at which the air quality was so noticeably different. Again I asked my wife if she noticed the difference. This time, there was no hesitation. She agreed that it was definitely better air quality upstairs. So you may be thinking is this guy going to order a second one so that he has one on both floors. I would like to, but I am going to save for it. I might even try one of the lower cost ($99) models I had seen just to see if spending that extra money is worth it.Sound – So I do not operate it at the highest fan level, in part, due to the sound. The level that I have it is the lowest level you can have and have the ionizer on the system working at the same time. So the whisper mode, I cannot comment on because I don’t use it. I could see it still being a little loud for some people though. My wife commented that she had woken up during that first night and she thought the sound was the water running.Recommendation: At this point, I can say that this thing really has made a difference, I feel difference breathing, already coughing less, and I am not compromised in any way so I have no reason not to recommend it. If I end up buying a lower cost unit and it works as well, I will try to update.Maintenance – Filter replacement cost does look pretty high (I think I saw $69 for the filter). It will be interesting to see how often I find that it needs to be replaced. Unless the lower cost model does an equally good job I will bite the bullet and replace the filtersI hope this helps if you are considering buying one! Good luck on your decision

I’ve had a problem with excessive dust. Probably due to my two dogs. I’ve had this unit now for about a week and I am impressed with how well it has significantly reduced the dust accumulation. We’ll see how long the filter lasts but so far I am very happy with this purchase.

This was the best holiday gift ever! We’ve had air purifiers in the past, but this Medify unit is on a whole new level! Many of us in the family have allergies and have already notice an improvement within the first few days. Also, we cook and entertain frequently and have 2 large dogs and the Medify Air unit is helping to keep our home free of from these odors as well!

I have a 3 year old and a 1 and a half year old sharing a room. They both developed a bit of runny nose and some conditions that appeared like allergies.My son was taking Albuterol to help with his breathing and wheezing in his chest for a while ( some of my reviews show the inhalers and nebulizers I’ve bought or returned to deal with his breathing issues ). We’ve also been running a cool humidifier next to my son’s crib to help with his nasal issues as recommended by various doctors.This last time of ending up at the ER with my son leaking from his nose and having heavy breathing was kind of it for me so I decided to try and improve the air quality of their room. We run standard air filters in our home and have very little build up on our fans/air conditioning outlets so I don’t believe it’s a heavy particulate issue, but I said what the hell let me order it.We received this filter about a week ago and to be honest this was an aesthetic purchase from the pictures. I also really liked the idea of a child proof lock function. The filter is all one unit and fits very nice and snug along the edges. The unit itself look very nice, it’s sleek, with a pretty easy function pad up top. The LED started off with a blue light which means clean air, but once in a while kicks over to green.During this week both of my kids have been breathing much better, no more runny noses, and per my wife it seems to have worked over about a 48 hour period. I set it to auto and once in a while you hear the fans kick up a little quicker then back to normal. At night, the night mode is a very low hum, almost not noticeable unless you know it’s there.An added benefit, is that between these two toddlers, at any time in the night or early in the morning after a night of them sleeping and ‘releaving pressure’ from their pre bedtime bottles, it would be like walking into a wall of farts. We have not had to deal with that since putting this air purifier in, so it’s been worth every penny haha.I’ll be buying another some time for the living room.

So 1st I’d like to mention that I don’t normally write reviews however after receiving a hand signed letter with a lifetime warranty from the president of this company I felt compelled. That said, I purchased this air purifier for my motor home. My daughter and I have pretty severe seasonal allergies. We just got back from our 1st trip out and I feel that this purifier worked beautifully! I put in the bedroom because our allergies seem worse at night. I will say that when running on auto and it’s running at full speed it is a bit loud however it’s white noise while sleeping so it drowns it other noise that may be disrupting during sleep. It was super easy to set up( just plug in). Super simple to understand. I really feel better knowing I have this and will use on every trip. I also feel that in the future if I should have an issue the company would be more than happy to fix any issues
