This photo was taken after 8 hours of wear, and after three meals, with NO touch ups. I am wearing the color “Amazonian”, and have fair skin with golden undertones.I’m usually REALLY not a fan of liquid lipstick but I must say, this one is making me a convert. It might just be my new holy grail lipstick. It does dry just a *tiny* bit sticky in my opinion, but that’s the reason it doesn’t dry out your lips! It feels like I am wearing Burt’s Bee’s classic chapstick all day, when really I’m wearing a beautiful, matte, smudge-proof lipstick. It’s so nice to not have to reapply lipstick after every meal. It’s also nice to wear lipstick and not have to worry about kissing! I wore this one for over 11 hours yesterday and it still looked perfect when I took it off before bed. I have six more colors on my wish list now, and ordered one from the coffee series today!THE TRICK: dry your lips completely, then apply one light coat, let it dry, and then apply a second coat. Then it’ll stay perfect and won’t flake off your inner lip. To remove, use something ultra conditioning and scrubby, like Sugar Lip Polish. It will literally melt right off, with zero lip agitation. 👍🏼

As a goth nonbinary person, I have a few needs: crucial among these is a good, black lipstick. I’d loved the 24 hour matte lipsticks from Maybelline before (over all others, and I mean this without any sort’ve monetary backing) because not only does the color pop, but neither God nor man can get it off me once I’ve applied it. I can only complain about a little dryness, but for the sake of impeccable lined and popping lips, I can cope. In my hunt for a good black lipstick, I’ve gone through a dozen or so brands. If I had known Maybelline made a black–and I had CHECKED before to no avail–I wouldn’t have dropped a dime on any other brand. Seems like it’s a seasonal brand? Anyways, this item from them (in whatever shade you get it) gives you bright, matte colors. It doesn’t smudge or rub in any way after you’ve let it dry. I can wear a face mask for a twelve hour shift and not see so much as a trace of color on the inside. EXACTLY what I look for in a lip stick.

Ok at this point, I guess it’s safe (and sad) to say that I am ADDICTED to this matte lip ink/lipstick! I LOVE IT. I put it on on the morning and if I don’t take it off before I go to bed, which I always do, it will still be there in the morning. I use the Maybelline SuperStay eraser (basically chapstick) and then I follow it up with the Lancôme Eye Makeup Remover to get the rest because it stays on so well (I know it says it’s for eyes but it takes this waterproof lipstick off perfectly). I couldn’t stop buying these colors! I’m a brown/caramel complexion and I think I bought every shade to compliment my skin tone. My favorites are 20, 25, 30, 35, and 40…I guess that sequence might be a coincidence! I wear 20 (Pioneer) and 40 (Believer) the most. The colors I received do look slightly different on the brown skinned swatch, and some colors look better on a full face (makeup). I also had Huntress (Not pictured here) but I gave it to my BFF because she does a full face and it looked amazing on her, she’s maybe a half shade darker than me but she has the face for it, it just didn’t go with my faux ‘stache (it’s really just a shadow on my upper lip, I refuse to wax or shave and make it noticeable to the world). Some of the shades I still have would go better with makeup, and maybe they would be better with liner, but it’s not the kind of lipstick to use when practicing because once it’s on, it’s on! One of my colors came in and I think something was wrong with the one I got because it goes on gritty. But all the others are smooth and I don’t have to ever reapply, I would actually advise against reapplication. Better to remove it and start over, or hurry up and take it off before it dries, about 3 minutes. I am sure I’ll end of buying more, and perhaps rebuy the one that came in bad to see if it does anything for me when it can apply right lol.

These are my absolute favorite lipsticks of all time. They stay on all day, last through meals, stay on all night when I go to bed forgetting to take it off, and they’re super affordable. (Dare I say these may last longer than the Stila liquid lipsticks, which I also love.) I got kind of obsessed with finding the right shade for my wedding day someday that I bought 10 in one summer. Not my proudest moment, but I’ve really enjoyed them. No regrets, even though I don’t love every color.My absolute favorites are Seductress, Revolutionary, Inspirer and Voyager.My least favorites are the fair skin colored ones, like Loyalist and Poet. They’re too close to my skin color which looked gross on me in bathroom lighting. Out of the two I’m more likely to wear Poet. Dreamer is like a Pepto Bismol color. Founder is like a pinkish red, like the color of my shirt. Pathfinder was a lighter, pinker red and hard for me to match. Seductress is AMAZING, especially on redheads. An awesome casual color.I’ve added pictures of every color I bought along with including their names in the photos. Each photo is taken either in front of a window or outside in order to use natural lighting to get an accurate shot of their true color. I’m hoping they’re helpful to you all.I will say these lipsticks are super sticky, even after they dry. Licking them does not fix the sticky feeling. However, applying a super thin coat of chapstick by dabbing (not rubbing) the chapstick on the lower lip then pressing your lips together works perfectly! Just remember a little goes a LONG way, because if you add too much, the lipstick will start to come off. Maybelline’s Super Stay 24 Color lipsticks are very similar AND they each contain a chapstick on the opposite end of the lipstick. I left a review with pictures there because OBSESSED.If I were to pick one of these colors for my wedding day next year, it would probably be Revolutionary.To take them off without makeup wipes, apply a heavy layer of chapstick overtop and rub off with a tissue a few times.

Pioneer Red. Let me just say this red is amazing. It has blue undertones which gives teeth a whiter appearance and also doesnt have any orange look about it. I have been searching for a go to red for a long time and finally found it. I will be ordering many more colors. At first the lipstick feels sticky but it turns into a matte. I always apply a translucent powder lightly over it to it will not have any stickiness to it.

After discovering these, I quickly purchased one in every color. In the photo I’m waiting for my morning bus, the lipstick is a combination of loyalist and lover shades. I put them on yesterday afternoon. These shades don’t move!If you’re worried about them coming off, I’ve found chapstick, specifically Blistex will take it off.

Excellent coverage, color, longevity; not moisturizing (let’s not kid ourselves there), but that’s not why I bought and stocked up on these. I don’t wear makeup often, like at all…so the long-lasting, low maintenance traits of this series is why, as a South Asian with warm undertones described as “deep autumn”, I’m totally making these my edc (everyday carry):- My edc Red: 50 Voyager- My edc Pink: 80 Ruler- My edc Nude: 160 Mover- My edc Brown: 275 Mocha InventorI plan to have 160 Mover and 275 Mocha Inventor in heavy rotation for work events; 50 Voyager and 80 Ruler for a little color here and then.If the dryness is troubling, you can try layering a clear moisturizer under or over, but it will add a sheen.Colors that were a miss for my skin tone:- 260 Hazelnut Hypnotizer (washed out on my skin tone like I used the wrong foundation)- 75 Fighter (really wanted to love an orange color, but this wasn’t it; it’s orangey-brown and looks pasty in low-light and like a muted orange in sunlight….maybe I need something bolder, but this was definitely not a good look on me)Does anyone have a purple or orange suggestion for me? “Cyber” from Mac is my current fave for purple :)

I love this lipstick. I fell asleep with it on and it stayed on all night. It has amazing pigment and dries within about 5 minutes. As a busy mom I probably won’t try another lipstick! Picture included is the color “loyalist”

This shade is “Seductress” and i love it! You do have to wait a couple of minutes for it to dry before you apply an oil-less balm for a less chalky look and feel. Poet, loyalist, amazonian, dreamer, and self starter are all here. So far i like most of them!

I love this lipstick and the color!It feels moisturizing on my lips, I can add chapstick and it doesn’t get all streaky and gummy and it lasts forever.I was looking for a nude-ish color that didn’t make my lips look like ashy versions of themselves and this is it!Definitely recommend.Included a picture because nude colors tend to look a bit different on chocolate girls, so I wanted to give ya a gander at what this color looks like on this chocolate gal. :-)
