The media could not be loaded. I have used all of the major brands out there, and this is one of my newest favorites! They are very very clean peanuts. They smell just beautiful, I love sticking my head in this huge bag and taking a big whiff of them! Smells like a huge jar of peanut butter. Came really well packed and not one rip or tear in the bag. I am so impressed that when the price goes down I will be sticking more bags in the freezer, and they store so nice! Very impressed! The birds are going crazy outside, so beautiful to watch! They have them for a decent price on Amazon with Prime. The delivery comes really fast thru UPS. I’m so impressed with this huge bag and the price per pound is really good. The good brands seem to be hard to find right now so I’ve ordered a couple of these now when the price goes really low.

This is the only thing I always buy on Amazon. I try not to use Amazon but I’ll swallow my pride for this item, for the sake of my bird’s, chipmunks and sometimes the stray 🐈’s. Lol Yes, I know cat’s shouldn’t eat peanuts but there’s not much I can do, 1) to stop feeding the birds and Chipmunks. That’s not an option, so 2) I opted to buy the stray cats(3) their own food and that’s helped. However the one that comes the most will still try to sneak a few pieces. I can’t find this brand, lbs or price for quality and lbs in a store. I have to come here or spend an extra 15$-25$ more for this same weight and typically lower quality. My family farm and home store has bulk peanuts and bagged but the bulk is the same brand as their bags and they have a lot of what looks like webs, stringy fluffy mess in and all over the peanuts. My bird’s and Chipmunks hated them. They only like this brand and it looks clean to my eyes. There’s not whole lot of dust and nothing else in the mix, such as sticks and strange objects you can’t identify like there are in some other brands. Lyric is where it’s at! My bird’s, Chipmunks, cat’s and I appreciate you selling this at a decent price in great quality, every single time I order! I appreciate you keeping your integrity and quality for your Amazon store. I appreciated it even more when you offered it for 23$-25$ that one time 😘 Please offer that bargain again?! I missed it last time you offered that price bc I didn’t have the money on the card I use for Amazon at the time. Either way, I’ll always come back to grab myself a bag. Thanks lyric!

I mix these peanuts in a large, metal trashcan along with 40 pounds of sunflower seeds, shelled sunflower seeds and fruit/nut/seed mixture for the birds. They love peanuts and without the shells it is so much cleaner then having peanuts shells to dispose of or to crack for some of the smaller birds. I keep them in the freezer to use when needed and to keep fresh. Would buy again. (Not paid for my review.)

I bought this to feed the birds and squirrels during Winter. I put it in one of those cage-type feeders for the birds so the squirrels can’t eat it all. And I leave some piles of peanuts on the ground for the squirrels. It attracts downy woodpeckers which I love to see. It also attracted a Bluejay, which was great. The bag the product comes in was thick and in one piece when it arrived. This product was well-priced, and conveniently sized, since peanuts can be heavy if you get the extra large bags from the farm store to get the bulk price. My cat loves peanut butter and she could obviously smell the peanuts through the plastic bag because the first night I hadn’t put it away and she tried to open this bag. Thankfully, the plastic held up pretty well against her teeth. I could tell the product was fresh when I opened the bag because it had a very strong, peanuty smell.

All I can say is that our Winter outdoor birds love it! The peanuts themselves are completely shelled and they are not all full pieces which the birds seem to like; the swoop in and carry away the peanuts which is just great because there is no issue with other animals attaching them. We actually simply sprinkle them on the ground in order to avoid having to use a feeder that could be attacked by pesky squirrels and there is no worry re the nuts going moldy with bad/wet weather. Also, there is no horrible peanut smell – no smell at all actually – we keep the bag in a small area to the side of our kitchen near a door that goes outside to make it easy to get to. Delivery was fast and this size bag was perfect – not hard to pick up. Thank you – will reorder when needed.

The peanuts must be delicious as the wild birds are gleefully gobbling these up. I’ve had peanuts in a “mix” for years and noticed they are a favorite in my window feeder. Since switching to peanuts only in the window feeder a greater variety of birds are willing to alight and enjoy the peanuts. Each bird has a unique way of selecting which peanut they want and how they eat it is also unique. I can highly recommend this product for hours of fun both for humans and your pets. (Pets love watching the birds too!)

Item use to be around $20 and was a great deal. Now, this price is just crazy. It went from the cheapest to the most expensive. It wasn’t the best quality product but at the price it was fair. Now, the quality is horrible for the price.9/29/17 – Update. Refer to the replies below. It seems the manufacturer is not to blame for the increase but Amazon is. Please look at the companies website to receive this item for the old, great price.

All the critters in my neighborhood love to stop by for the peanut buffet. We get a nice cardinal couple, blue jays, tons of sparrows and chickadees, a hoarde of grackles, and even a couple times a big crow (though the grackles are jerks and bullied the crow away so he’s not visiting so much anymore). We also have seen more bunnies and other little creatures (our friendly neighborhood opossum “Pip” who eats rodents & ticks, and “Rocky” a local racoon who boldly stops by for his snaccs even when we’re outside maybe 15 feet away). Anyway, it’s nice to know we’re getting good reviews in the neighborhood wildlife community. It seems like we’re quite popular. And I love watching them all. I’m also a silly butthead and I leave out water dishes and fill the bird bath every morning. We also put out birdseed so I get more critter entertainment. I initially started putting out nuts so the squirrels wouldn’t climb up and steal birdseed, and that has actually worked REALLY well. And the squirrels LOVE the water dish, so after they fill their bellies with peanuts they get a drink of water. I have a lush garden nearby and the squirrels haven’t been messing with them much anymore (other than a couple times they were trying to bury nuts), so putting out nuts might be a decent way to distract rodents from digging up your plants or gnawing on your veggies. I have more problems with the birds kicking the dirt around hunting for worms, but I can’t fault them for trying to feed their babies. It’s annoying, but generally my plants are still doing well despite them.

I was so happy to find this! It’s really hard to find shelled peanuts at a reasonable price. Truthfully, I was a bit tired of buying so many smaller bags as well. I have a massive amount of peanut lovers in the yard – mostly cardinals, blue jays, tufted titmice, and nuthatches, and in the winter especially, the nuts would be gone within an hour (gets a bit expensive with everyone stashing them all over the yard!). These smell great – I’m sure they taste great too, but I’m not that adventurous :-) Birds love ’em and so does my wallet!

I’ve been getting the Lyric Peanut Pieces Wild Bird Food, 15 lb bag for some time now and have found three things – birds love them, there is nothing but peanuts in the bag, and the price-per-pound has yet to be beat. I get several varieties of visitors per day chowing down. Even the mourning doves land on the feeder to add protein and fat to their diet. I do ration them to about a cup per day, and my last order was 5 months ago (granted, I can’t feed when I go on weekend trips and I don’t recall how much I had on hand before that last order was placed). I store inside in the pantry to keep them from molding or turning rancid, which leads to another finding – I have never had a problem with bugs or moths, which is the reason I stopped buying seed I store inside from places like Walmart. I highly recommend this product!
