I bought this metal dustpan because I wanted something that would last. I figured, after reading prior reviews, that I could drill holes and set screws to ‘fix’ the problems of swiveling described because the sections screwed together. No need. The manufacturer has listened and now has spring connectors that lock in place–at least the one I received does. There was no movement when I emptied it.I am happy with the purchase. I would buy it again, but given its construction, I don’t believe there will be a need.

I have no complaints. This set is very sturdy, pretty much all metal. The broom is very tall – I left one 12″ section off because it was too tall, so now it’s 46″ from bristles to top. The broom attaches to the dustpan for storage, if you want it. And, I attached felt pads on the bottom of the dustpan to avoid scratching our floors – just tilt forward a little to pick up dust – you have to do that anyway…

I like that it’s a light weight metal. I purchased a larger plastic one a few months ago and it warped so it did not stay flat, therefore sweeping into it was difficult. This is so easy and carries alot. Hope it lasts a lot longer.

I was so tired of flimsy dust pans that didn’t hold up and were not made well enough to catch all the debris. This is perfect. I have 5 dogs and a wood stove, so sweeping at least twice a day is a must. The large capacity pan easily holds however much debris I sweep up, and it sits so snug to the floor it all goes right into the pan, not underneath like my other dust pans. The forward tilt to the top of the handle makes it surprisingly easy to cart around. And it is really sturdy!

This thing is a game-changer when it comes to sweeping floors! It is super solid, built to last (I know, that is very rare these days!) and easy to use because it stands without needing help. The height works well for me at 5′ 0″ and just a good for my husband who is a bit over 6′ tall. I’ve been keeping it next to the trash can so it is close at hand when I need it. Additionally, it now has a name that is fun to say: Can you bring me the Yang-a-bang-a?

I bought this to use for cleaning out my wood burning stove, thinking I simply wouldn’t use the handle. Well, what a nice surprise to find that the handle can be removed with a click, and reattached with a click. So, I use it to clean up around the wood stove, and when it’s time to clean the ash out of the stove, off comes the handle. This is the best tool I’ve ever used to clean out ash, it fits in the corners and on the bottom of the stove, and the price point is fantasatic. LOVE IT!
