I generally use the 24-hour or all day lip glosses that come with the top coat built in so I was skeptical to try a version that’s just the one step. This stays very well for the most part. I got the socialite color and it’s a perfect nude for me. I have olive toned skin with a light tan going from walking in the sun lately and it’s just enough to add some color without being over the top. It does smudge off at first but after it dries (it can take a while to dry) it’s pretty nice. I generally just apply it generously, let it dry some, and purposefully wipe off any that will come off. I did a test on my hand of how well this lasts next to one of the deeply pigmented matte brands and while it didn’t last as long as that one, it stayed on for almost a day in between showers and hand washes. I got this for less than $3 from a sale but I’d say it’s worth the full $7-8 price.

Color: Fashionista.I wanted a color that looked like I was virginal prey in Brahm Stokers “Dracula”, ie “naturally flushed”. This color did not disappoint. I have tried sooo many similar products but returned them all. Completely weightless, goes on like balm but dries quickly and stains beautifully. Can be layered easily. This is *holy grail* and I’ll be buying more colors right away. My photos show me before lip product and after.

Love this. Have had trouble finding a flattering color now that I am older. Have read to try to match the inside of the lip. This does it perfectly. Looks natural, but not too pale. Perfect. It doesn’t last all day like the 12-hour stuff, but then it isn’t drying like they are either. You can gloss it up with an overlay or leave it matte.

This is my go to lipstick! Paired with a lip liner the staying power is amazing! I’ve been wearing the Ultimate Suede line from Revlon for years! I have four shades that suit me. I apply in the morning before work, have breakfast, lunch and snacks all without having to retouch. The only foods that causes “bleeding” are oily foods. Outside of that I’m good to go for the day. In fact I use makeup remover to take it off because even soap and water won’t remove it entirely! The only con I have is that the lipstick can be a bit drying to my lips. But I love this line from Revlon so much I hope it’s never discontinued!

This is one of the best red lipsticks I’ve ever found. The color is just on the blue side of pure red, which works perfectly for my pink toned skin. Not only that, but it has great staying power. It survived me eating and drinking at my church picnic, doesn’t kiss off, and goes on like a normal stick rather than like a liquid. If I could give it 6 stars, I would!

I’m not someone with a lot of lotions and potions for my face. Basically, I apply lipstick and occasionally a little eye makeup and I’m ready to go in the morning. My pet peeve are lipsticks that need to be applied every time I take a drink or several times in the morning and yet again in the afternoon. I’ve found the Revlon Colorstay is the best for staying put over the long haul. Many time I use it once per day with occasionally needing to freshen up if I’m making evening a night out. That’s it. I love it.The lipstick is creamy when it goes on but does dry with wear. The color is still there but it does not look glossy which is OK by me. If you’re like me; someone who wants to look well groomed but doesn’t want to spend untold hours refreshing their lip makeup – this is a good choice. And the price point is great too.

On a whim, I decided to order a “traditional” lipstick. I was intrigued that Revlon has stay-on type, so I thought it was worth a try, and the price was reasonable. The lipstick is surprisingly soft. It feels very good going on, and it makes my lips look and feel soft. It is neither waxy feeling nor sticky. I detest sticky lipsticks. After putting it on, I blotted it on the back of my hand. Nothing! Then I took a sip of my coffee and looked at the rim of the cup. Nothing! Six hours later, the color had faded only a little. Acceptable. For fun, I decided to touch it up before going to bed—not because I wear makeup to bed, just as a test. Blotted with a tissue, and this time saw a tiny bit of lipstick on the tissue, nothing like an actual kiss print. The lipstick was still on in the morning! As far as I’m concerned, this lipstick more than meets my stay-on needs. I could wear this under a mask, and it will still be on when I take my mask off.Choosing colors online is tricky, because your screen won’t necessarily show the color accurately. I chose “Ultimate Suede,” a name that tells me nothing. Anyway, it’s a medium brick red, not too dark, not too light. Because the quality is so good and delivers on its promise, I’ll probably buy 2 or 3 more colors. I wish Revlon and other lipstick manufacturers would sell a sample card with a little smear of each color they offer so you could try them all.

I’ve tried several long lasting lipsticks over the past few weeks. All were liquids. I could not find the right color for one thing. The other is they looked painted on, not natural. Been wearing Revlon Super Lustrous Blushing Mauve. This is very close in color but just a slight more pink than my natural lip color, but usable. So I ordered the Iconic color and that color comes close to matching my lips. I reordered Socialite and Wardrobe. Wardrobe is a bit more purplish than the picture. It is a strong color like maybe a burnt red. Socialite on the other hand is almost an exact match to my lip color. Perfect for me, no more looking. May try a few more colors if they go on sale for special occasions. But for everyday use Socialite is for me, basically not noticable yet gives me even color over my whole lips and keeps my lips from the occasional peeling. I took a drink after 10 minutes and had very little transfer and after 15 minutes had no transfer. After about 40 minutes I ate a Pork Chop off the bone and did seem to lose a bit but color was still there, just worn down a bit. I put it on at around 11 am and it was still there at 9 pm. I have also used Preview on my upper lip and Iconic on the bottom lip then rubbed them together and end up with a color in between the two. These people saying that it doesn’t last must be constantly licking their lips or putting a lip balm on top of it.

I buy Backstage and I love this lipstick because it is more long-wearing than any other that I’ve tried. (maybe some of the liquid ones are long wearing, but I don’t like liquid lipstick). I knew what color this would be because I’ve been buying these in the drugstore, but if you aren’t familiar with it and you go by the color shown in the illustration, you’ll be disappointed. Backstage is the darkest of all the colors, but it’s not heavily pigmented, and it’s more of a true red than the color in the photo. But it really stays on — it’s like a stain that lasts all day for me. This price is much cheaper than the drugstore price, and besides, lately the drugstores don’t have it in stock. I have an idea this lipstick is being discontinued, so I’m buying up a lot while I can.

After being isolated for so long, I wanted something casual, wearable and looks good. I got what I wanted. I did not want to get lipstick/gloss all over my face masks so I need something with staying power. I didn’t need anything dramatic because I still don’t go places that require dressing up and I am not back in the office yet. This is like a great colorful stain that is there when I get to my destination and remove my mask. I wear it for Zoom meetings and I don’t worry about reapplying every hour. It’s a basic grape color that most folks can wear and look good. The price was good and I would purchase this again.
